Yeah, I see what you mean by converting emotion into motivation, but I find it overwhelming to take every failure personnaly, get sad/angry about it and use it to do better, cuz of the loss of time it takes for me to do said conversion. By brushing it off with a laugh and moving on, I can keep trying with a cool head and, once the day/night is over, review it all and try to learn at that moment. Do you think you really need to attach yourself emotionnaly to be able to learn new things ? I'm not being rhetorical, I don't know for you, but by taking a step back and simply not caring, accepting the facts and trying to see how things coulda/woulda/shoulda been had I done this and that, I tend to better myself as well, often quicker, and be less miserable, then when I took everything personnaly - be it with women or anything else.
