I was simply trying to educate those that felt that amount of debt was due to stupidity. I think from the comments people don't understand the cost of these medical programs. Podiatry is similar to how much an MD would pay for their education. School will be 4 years and cost around $40,000-$60,000 per year which would include education, housing and cost of living. At which point you graduate and start a fellowship program. Fellowship programs run around 3 years and you start with a salary in the low 40's while working around 100 hours per week (average probably $10 an hour). Salary …
