3-4 times a week mostly chose it over more important things in life.

She’s going to therapy also. I chose to do these things myself.

Thanks appreciate that. I’ll be attending a A.A. meeting hopefully soon. Hope all works out for you.

We have 3 kids and talked this morning and decided we will get an apartment close to the house. We will take turns rotating to and from the house when it’s our turn to have the kids (she can not legally take ownership of our house do to me being Native American and my/our house is on my reservation) we decided that buying a separate house isn’t a good idea due to the fact we would need to scramble to buy one and furnish it. And get attorneys involved. And we really don’t want to displace the kids…

This post sounds like a subreddit advertisement. Maybe try and give him some advice instead of promoting another subreddit.

Honestly you need to decide between her and your drug use. If your dealing with mental health issues seek professional help. If you chose drugs over her I can guarantee you will live the rest of your life in regret and end up using more. This is a moment in your life that you won’t get to do over so I suggest you look deep within yourself and decide what’s more important. I’ll pray for you.

Get into A.A. or N.A you got to want it or it won’t happen. Addiction is hard I’m a ex meth user.

If you love her still fight for her. Take that night out with no kids take that long weekend together. Try to be a better version of yourself. My wife told me she wanted a divorce on the 20th due to the fact I haven’t been the best husband/father after 14 years of marriage. I pleaded to her for 6 more months to show her I can be the man she wants/needs. I’m 10 days sober now and have my second therapy session this Thursday. There’s no guarantee she will fall back in love with me but I’m willing …

Are you still in therapy ? If so I’d probably make this your number 1 talking point.

Is it worth taking a sit at her if it ends up being a full blown meltdown on her part?? And I understand she’s doing it to you but maybe just be the bigger man and there may be less drama?

Just hang in there do the best you can and be strong for the kids. I know things may feel hopeless in these dark times for you but remember things will slowly get better. Try and not let her negative actions bring you down even though it’s hard. Stay positive listen to your lawyer don’t do anything dumb and I guarantee happiness will come with time. PM me if you need a person to vent to I’m no therapist or attorney but I can listen. Stay strong

He should talk to his commanding officers and let them know what’s going on before doing anything. Tell your brother thanks for his service.

We were able to sit down today and talk about things since life was pretty busy this week. She agreed to give it 6 more months to see if I can be the man she married. I’ll admit it I have been selfish in our marriage and drink to much. So I’m putting down the Booz going to see a therapist weekly and give it my best. It feels really good to acknowledge that I had a big part in this situation. I will keep you all posted on my progress. I just hope I can make her love me as a partner again.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
