You are incorrect. It becomes less sensitive. This happens in two ways: A man cannot feel with nerves that have been cut away. The foreskin itself contains thousands of the most sensitive nerves in the human body. Ok,it sounds like you are in the very small minority of people where true phimosis runs in the family. This is very rare. Only one in about 17,000 boys will need a circumcision. The problem is when people use stories like yours to justify cutting thousands and thousands of infants. A heart condition runs in my brother-in-law's family. That does not mean that all infants should have routine heart surgery.

Circumcision absolutely does causes the keratin to form on the glans. If you look at an intact and cut glans side-by-side the difference is quite obvious. No. But r/foreskin_restoration has some good tips about how to restore. Many men are in the process of regaining some of what was taken from them. Stretching and steroid creams are generally recommended. Foregen is a company working on re-growing foreskins from stem cells. If I cut off any other healthy baby body part would it be a big deal. Circumcision seems like any other medical procedure because it's done in a hospital by trained medical professionals, but it's the only surgery performed on children without a medical diagnosis. There is nothing diseased about the children being cut. These children are 100% healthy. It's a barbaric practice dressed up as medicine.

Phimosis cannot properly be diagnosed until the end of puberty. First of all, in young boys the foreskin is fused to the head of the penis so it doesn't even retract yet. Once it does retract, it takes all of five seconds to pull it back and rinse it in the shower. You shouldn't even use soap. In the US it started in the 1870's as Victorian Era doctors promoted it as a way to discourage masturbation, known as the scourge of "self-harm" and was seen as unhealthy at the time. Look up John Harvey Kellogg for more on this. It caught on for a number of cultural reasons but basically it's just outdated, bad medicine. For Jewish and Muslim people it is a religious practice. For Americans it is simply bad medicine introduced in the 1800's to stop boys from masturbating. Here's how the argument works: "I did a study on finger cancer and came up with amazing results! Did you know that if you remove one finger then the rate of finger cancer goes down. It goes down by 10%!" If there's less area of penis, then there's less area to get cancer. Yes, then you would have had the sensation of having a foreskin to compare it to. Circumcision is associated with significant losses in penile sensitivity. You feel fine because you've never known anything different.
