Girls are generally awful at judging height anyway. If she's more than ~4 inches shorter than you, she probably has no idea whether you're 5'10 or 6'1 and will most likely believe whatever you tell her.

Not OP, but as someone who identifies very strongly with his comment: I saw my first small gains and realized at that point that I fundamentally knew literally everything I needed to know to build a perfect body, it was now just a matter of execution. Whenever I get discouraged about how long it takes to build muscle, all I have to do is remind myself that I didn't put in decades of "hard" work to become charming/intelligent/interesting just to be outdone by some jacked motherfucker just because…

One of the FIRST things you need to realize: you are a man, take agency with your (potential) relationships. Internalize this post and you'll never waste another minute thinking about girls that aren't interested in you. This will save you untold anxiety and many sleepless nights alone in bed wondering "what if". You know what you want. A woman catches your eye or piques your interest - go fucking find out if she's interested in you, and do it immediately and unambiguously. Keep pushing until yo…

This is sidebar worthy. The Cracker Jack analogy aside, I absolutely love this - it's been a while since I've read a post and known immediately that it would stick with me on a fundamental level.

I've been thinking about pursuing the entrepreneurial life a lot recently. My issue is this: how do I know when to quit my job? And even if I do know it's time, how do I convince myself to do it? I'm 25 making 60k in consulting while living in a high cost of living city. Not a great salary, but not a bad one either. I don't like my job and I hate the idea of trading ~45 hours a week for a fixed sum going forward with my career. Ie, I can bust my ass and make 60k, plus maybe a nominal bonus or ra…

Holy shit, so tell me more about these contractors? They're not always a part of some military convoy? Driving trucks in Afghanistan for the military for 150k is one thing, but ultimately *not worth it (for me). Driving trucks in Afghanistan on my own would have me shitting my fucking pants. I've been to parts of the third world, but I can't even imagine what that would be like.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
