Yes, I’m so glad you mentioned that. When reading the article, I couldn’t tell it was for men! The information was so general and I had to show it to this subreddit because it is so helpful to see the signs. But yes, ladies! Be careful with some websites! They creep you into some misogynistic ideologies and practices sometimes and you have to be aware of this when reading some advice blogs!!

I’m going to make it a checklist and bring in my purse during first dates. I never noticed how often men play these tricks! It’s awful to see this because it’s what traps women in those toxic relationships that they feel too invested in to get out of! The guy is Prince Charming, and hooks her in. When he drops the act and the love bomb wears off, the woman starts losing interest. So, he prince charms her back in the door, and it’s the beginning of a horrible, vicious cycle for her.

Thank you for your advice. I left because I knew that if he didn’t care enough to put the effort to get me like a gift like I took few extra minutes to get him, it’s was already over. I wanted to leave with my dignity. Unfortunately I let him win. I do my best to shut out low value men before I get attached, but I wish I could stop missing him. I’m really glad you responded.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
