Not if you want to keep your job at planet fitness. And if you lose your job because you physically fought with a client, you're probably going to have a hard time finding a decent public facing job again that isn't desperate for people. Engaging in fights at work is a huge net negative for any employee. I agree he should have defended himself but there's a lot of reasons for him to hesitate.

I'm going to play the devil's advocate here because seat-space rights are usually defined pretty clearly in the ticket information, though it's a bit buried. First off, someone's height is their own problem on a plane. I say this as a 6'2" dude that flies coach more often than business. Now, about the seat space stuff: Last time I was involved in mediation for a client suing an airline for this subject, it turned out that the agreement of the ticket included wording to describe and define the am…

Attacking the op? All I did was ask what was going on and why the grandstanding like what happened was the cure for reddit cancer. Now that someone actually took the time to communicate, rather than accuse, I'm glad what happened happened, no doubt about that. You, though. You're just unhinged. I'm not part of any fascist anything, not sure what you're going on about. I don't understand why or how this related to pussypassdenied... but I had no idea what 'banout' was to begin with, so there's that. Why is Mustaka trying to fellate himself with this 'accomplishment'? Edit: Since the incel that tried to troll-response deleted the thread and resulting responses, just to be clear: after someone was kind enough to PM me the actual explanation, I'm happy that they were gone/shutdown/whatever. I preserved what I wrote above for transparency.*

No one cares about your extra languages unless that company needs you to do business with a client/service provide in that language. No one will hire an INTERN from another country when they have people nearby that can do the same job without having to jump through VISA hoops / paper work. The first real thing that killed presumed innocence is exterior influence of public perception. Media is allowed to pick and choose who they demonize and even attempt to control the conversation regarding offenses and offenders and victims. As long as they control the conversation, they have no need or desire to maintain objectivity, because objectivity does not generate as many shock views as stoking outrage tends to generate.

When I was studying this in university, there was also a statistic about women being extremely anal about yearly financial numbers - like many would berate or outright refuse to consider dating men that made the equiv of about 80k$ USD or so. Don't know if that is still a contributing factor but I found it interesting at the time.

Love is like a pair of rose tinted shades mixed with an extreme amount of cognitive dissonance. Falling out of love often leaves a much more damaging impact that people expect. 'Oh she loves me, she'd never do xyz' often becomes 'I thought she loved me, why would she want/allow xyz to happen?'. There are good people that will break relationships in a reasonable way, but they're in the extreme minority.

Prenups are regularly tossed out by judges when they pretty much want. (At least in Canada and the US) It's a potential defense, sure. About as reliable as a screen door on a submarine.

Large boxer briefs generally fit most people from like 25-60. Most homeless aren't exactly massive in the hip-circumference area. Besides, just adding one or the other now and then would be a huge boost for them. Good underwear is a godsend.
/r/MensRights25/06/14 08:49 PM

One thing you should consider putting in to one of those bags: A clean pair of socks or even underwear. Having gone without for long enough to know it matters, a clean pair of socks really helps. EDIT: By the way, good fucking show doing this for your fellow human being. There aren't enough thoughtful, empathizing people on this planet; or at least there aren't enough that are willing to put thought into action. Thank you for what you do.

I can't account for the faulty thought processes in other people's minds, but the sarcasm was obvious when I glanced at it. For the vast majority o the others that bothered voting or responding, it was fine as well. The fact feminists 'drop' that line has nothing to do with its interpretation. Perhaps you should stop interpreting comments in this subreddit as being said by feminists by default? You could also eat an apple. Both of those suggestions are good for your health.

That makes no sense. If someone decides to take this item out of context and post it elsewhere, the bad points in it would just cause more damage than good. The better the message is controlled, the more clear the message. Why produce something that can be used to debunk actual important matters, and additionally why produce something to counter-act bad information to begin with. It just... doesn't make sense. .-.
/r/MensRights19/10/13 07:22 AM

You can be better than that. We can be better than that. We laugh at them when they try to squirrel stack bad information, how do you think it makes a minority movement look?
/r/MensRights19/10/13 01:04 AM
40

So, because they stoop to shit tactics, 'we' have to? Sorry but there are better ways to get our point across. If bad information is presented as reinforcing arguments, it just marginalizes the message we're trying to send. If I dismissed it as bullshit because of the bad terms included within the graphic, no doubt others have as well. All in all, sticking to actual privileged facts would wind up better. Shorter list? Maybe, better end result? Positively.

There is such a thing as 'shit so infantile it shouldn't even be acknowledged'. Just because a battle is placed before you doesn't mean you should fight it, or that it's even worth fighting to begin with. This is an example of the crap that feminists do, be it directly or inadvertently, that causes people to burn energy, time and resources on situations that really do not matter or bring any tangible 'progress' on short AND long terms.

It's the subscriber's responsibility to oust the mods or find another reddit if something is 'unacceptable', we don't have any right to armchair mod another reddit just because it's doing something you don't agree with.

While I balk at what you just said, if you want to deal in numbers, stop trying to think of it as an investment, honestly, because it's not. The debt will fall on you if she flakes on it after you're married, so that should be the foundation of any decision you make. If you want to use the logic 'she might make 250k by 30' then that's a bet on odds with some viciously wild odds some of which include: The job market post-graduation, her success or lack thereof in her studies, etc. and that is not…

Be it trollbait or real, these videos should not even be acknoweldged. The fact we're sending traffic there just helps validate that imaginary internet-ego number that is viewed and hits.

Anyone that says this hasn't taken a moment to chat someone up before giving her/him the big ole beef bus. Look before leaping.

Terrible video, even worse than the one it's responding to. While I disagree with the woman in the first video, this guy's response is pretty thick-headed and his tone is just downright annoying. And here I thought the first woman couldn't be beat as far as holier-than-thou attitude.

The problem with a lot of statistical firms is that you can pay them to sub-compartmentalize data in ways so skewed they can interpret the numbers in any way they like. I know this because I actually work at a company that actively does this.

No, it's healthy to have different opinions. Presentation just happens to be important. As for farts, you'd seem to know more about farts than I, so I'll leave you be the resident expert!

If that's all it takes to get you to question something that's on a sidebar, as if that, as anything, was some sort of modicum of authority or 'official-ness' of overall Men's Rights Movement... ...perhaps you should look back at feminist/misandry style posts on the feminist reddits, too. One item does not represent the batch. Both sides have rights, both sides have good voices and bad ones, and both sets of voices say pretty ridiculous things at times. Nice try, though. :<

Let them have their cake. What they do is irrelevant. The more they pay attention to trolls and busy themselves with that kind of obvious nonsense, the less they have time to actually try and disrupt us. The only power they have is the amount of attention we give them.

I'm not calling you a dipshit, not in any way. It may come off as aggro, but there's already ample evidence out there contrary to your suggestion. Joining the military would end up with him being double-screwed, he'd likely get locked-in for multiple tour of duty while simultaneously getting his pay ransacked. I understand you made a suggestion and that my response was very terse, however I am saying you're wrong, not that you're a dipshit. Please don't inject words into my text that are not the…

What the hell kind of advice is that? The court would default judgement in his absence and then his paycheck WILL be garnished. Don't listen to 'tad', that's just BAD advice right there.

You heard right. The cars are made available on a choice basis since they (the transit authority) can't actively stop this issue when the train gets packed. Now don't get me wrong though, there's PLENTY of sexism in Japan, so ample ammunition already that people don't need to try and use the train cars as some new platform.
/r/MensRights19/04/11 07:55 PM

I'm not sure if this really qualifies as Sexism. Japan introduced optional women-only cars during peak hours as the trains get very much packed and there is/was (I don't have recent statistics, I just know from living there in the past) a problem with train groping/fondling during busy hours when the perverts think they can remain generally anonymous. There's no apartheid or forced segregation, women still do VERY often ride in the normal cars, but during rush hours the main trains get women onl…

Good point-out, Rollerdoll, I didn't spot that one. I like that response, and it's true, I'd venture a guess that most women would not do much to return the favor. At least, I have to admit, none of the women I've known would bother doing anything, they expect only the men to do something. Oh and hey, I think they deleted that comment in the responses too! +1 failpoints.

For me, it was abuse. Abuse that no one in any form of authority could, or would, bother to help me with. I was ground down to a point of depression and I was told that doing anything was impossible (and at times even wrong) because the source of my issues was a woman. I respect both women and men with every fiber of my being, however I am also against abuse of any form. I am not fearful or hateful of feminists, but while they may not like the reality of the situation, there is a disproportionat…

Maybe they think it's 'radical' feminism to join a movement with the word 'brotherhood' on it. Women deserve equal everything, that is absolute; but women like these are what set them back by attacking men with malicious charges.
