My dad told me a story once about when he used to show horses. No, really, I would have continued, but I already made my withdrawal a big deal, so I can't really undo it. That would just be embarrassing. See where this gets us? Immediate suffering isn't a long-term consequence by definition, circumcision doesn't impact sexual function (and has certain benefits but some drawbacks, I'll admit), and whose definition of human rights are we using? Thank you. I don't understand why these people can't get it through their heads that it's a religious practice based off of a belief that God told Abraham to do it. A belief means that you think something actually happened. Honestly people, religion isn't like picking a favorite book. It's not about preference. In most cases there's nothing wrong with it, but in this case, the product is self-defense related, which means that it can be used by everyone. Marketing tampons to women is fine, but I find this questionable. This is just my opinion, of course. I'm not saying that we should make a mob and pull down every display stand carrying this. I mostly just find the assumptions it makes interesting. In fact, I'd say my usage of "ticks me off" is probably too strong.

Basically, my problems come down to the facts that the product is obviously aimed at women, the sales support breast cancer awareness, and the description has the line of "making grown men cry since 1975". In other words, it's assumed that if it is used, it will be a female victim spraying a male assailant, because only men can attack women and only women can need pepper spray. This ticks me off.
