The author nailed my most obvious gripe that every male character has a tragic flaw or was a failure of ego, whereas every woman was the paragon of virtue and heroism. That sort of one sided characterization really pulled me out of the story and spoke of agenda.

So things that only women need to use should not be taxed? What about lipstick? Isn't that the definition of preferential treatment? Why does it matter that an item that women buy is taxed? Is there a corralary in men's prooducts that is not taxed?
