Female here, married to a man. I earn about 4x what he does. If we are out on a “date” without kids, it doesn’t matter who pays, as our finances are completely joined. He has more expensive hobbies/habits than me as well, but I don’t care. He’s happy. I’m happy. Kids are happy.
