You know how after mating (often) the male spider gets eaten? Traditional male gender roles in our modern world is what's causing men to enter a situation that is increasingly just as with the male spider that gets eaten. Because going into that web to do your thing is just what a man does.

So what’s the big deal? Sex is not like a male right ok? If you cannot get laid, you don’t get laid. Nobody owes you anything I suspect the big deal is that a lot of men have grown up listening to the way feminism speaks to women and have thought "I want something like that too". The soothing ideas that blame is found elsewhere and that you're good enough just the way you are. In a lot of ways incel is just feminism for men. A lot of entitlement and "this is my right" and "it should be this way"…

The men who aren't having sex aren't trying to, but may still be complaining about it. I liken it to a fat person who says "I've tried everything, I just don't go down in weight" and then you take a look at their efforts... Nothing. Yet they may be convinced they've made an effort. Like taking the stairs sometimes and cutting down to one Snicker's bar. In all honesty they've been content in whatever situation they were in because if they really wanted out of it they would have made it happen. If…

If you want others to value you then you best be providing them with something they want. Worth is very subjective there. A man who wants kids puts worth in women's ability to take part in creating them, but that goes both ways.

Exactly. It's very feminine to be so concerned with sex that you have to have it in a very particular way for otherwise you're not measuring up. That screams feminine neuroticism. An over-preoccupation with the self and how one is viewed.

I think you'll find that it's true though. Those who achieve some sort of ideal manhood are rarely very concerned with it. I think that's not because it's in ample supply, but because it's of little importance. They have masculine obsessions.

Too much concern with sex is not very masculine. I think sex is a feminine thing to concern yourself with. That's alright, a man should feel free to be feminine from time to time, but too much and it comes off as an unhealthy preoccupation. Like how exactly to have sex. If an escort is what makes sense at the time then that's what should be done without much more thought. That said I doubt it ever requires less effort than just taking care of business yourself. That a woman must more often than …

I think the mockery is not so much that they want love, but that they come off as female neckbeards. It's the lack of self-awareness and grandiose sense of self that seems to be mocked.

They probably post over at /r/hotwife. It's not something most men are interested in, but for sure you can find some exceptions there.

I looked at that subreddit and I don't think the narrative you've presented fits. For instance where in your narrative does this post fit?

Not so sure. I've got plenty of friends who got sluts pregnant, but they never married. They lived together and did things that was practical, but kept finances and such seperate. Didn't make things too tangled and hard to leave. Things were not so serious, one could say. Those who found themselves regular women typically got married and got entangled and dependent. They had so-called serious relationships.

I say men as in plural, not men as in all men. That said it's not as if men will shun sluts or not be in relationships with them. It's just that they won't do a place an "all-in" type of bet there.

You should ignore it because it's immaterial. One can invert the relationship as well if your problem is ownership in that direction; few want to belong to a comunal bike. Like it or not men want to be intrinsicly tied to women if there's to be a very serious relationship. Otherwise few are interested in something serious. That's just how things are.

Literally every comment in this subreddit is how men won’t date or pursue women with high n-counts aka sluts.. This is not true, but I think it's a something men will take much less seriously. Suspend the thought-terminating cliché of "are you comparing women to property" and consider how you treat something comunal. Like a bike a bunch of people can loan and use. Most just don't take that home, develop strong feelings for it and care for it like replacing worn parts and so on. They do it with a…

You would be better served by using a different word then or a description. Incel doesn't mean what you think it does to most people. You are always using or subject to a majority's vernacular. It's only in an academic setting that special purpose words are defined and unsterstood as defined. In all other settings the majority dictates a word's interpretation. Simply write out in full what you mean to say. Doing anything else is like saying I'm like Hitler and oh by the way here's what I mean by…

No because the purpose of a word is to communicate something you intend to say. When it ceases to do so it is better to use another word or just write what you mean out in detail. I mean it's like going around saying I'm kind of like Hitler, and here's my definition of Hitler (then you go on to describe Jesus or something). Maybe at that point it's better to stick to a new word or write out an actual description.

Then you should just describe yourself as such, that is "I've been unable to have sex at all and would only count something as sex if it was with a woman who was attracted to me". Not use the term incel.

Well just like feminism doesn't really mean being all about equality if going by the actions of a great many feminists, incel doesn't just mean being involuntarily celibate. You should instead just say "I haven't been able to have sex, but would like to" so as to not get mixed up with other things.

From what I can tell the incel mindset is just feminism for men. The kind of feminism where someone else is to blame for all your shortcomings and problems. It's typically economic when it's coming from women (with silly degrees).

I think a nice woman is one who bends over and takes it without all the hurdles and formalities. One who wastes the least of my time. I'm not sure what being nice in a man would really mean, but I'd be inclined to say something similar there. One who doesn't waste your time.

Women for the most part aren't interested in casual sex. Not sure why you would think so. Casual sex doesn't really mean sex with a stranger.

Let's say you are a sought after man. You tell a woman you, as far as you can tell you find attractive, about your values hoping to ascertain whether you actually are attracted to her. Now let's say she's been through hundreds of men. She may simply opt to tell you a lie to enjoy you too and there's little you can do to stop it, unless you somehow get access to the entire history of her. Something that's not always possible. The only way to entirely prevent this from happening is to change your …

The women you grew up with (knowledge) or younger women (lower likelihood). I think though that perhaps you should examine why you want a relationship in the first place. Why not just sleep around and enjoy friendships? The most effective way to avoid any (supposed) perils of women with histories is to simply become similar yourself. At the end of the day you can't know some random woman's history. If that random woman's history is important to you for what you currently conceptualize as a relat…

Divorces that typically involve a lot of litigation really don't pay off for women. The only real winners there are the lawyers.

Being in great shape or even just in normal shape will greatly improve anyone's prospects.

Only thing you need to do if you're a man interested in having a lot of sex is to get in great shape and then find women who make or are interested in making porn. Sex for its own sake doesn't really make much sense unless you monetize it.

I doubt anyone dumps anyone because they caught them at a bad angle with poor lighting. Like maybe if an eyeball ends up in an anus, but then it probably ended for other reasons. At that point I think the only healthy thing to do is nod to the other person and say hey maybe this has run its course.

Lots of men have a lot more important things to worry about than sex or about hook-ups or about girlfriends or wives. I think a lot of men also realize that sex isn't really associated with an economic improvement. At least those who see a possibility of propelling themselves upwards. I think those who feel stuck, like those in some extreme poverty areas, are more likely to not care.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
