This was almost a bit painful for me to read. I just want to give you a hug. I'm all for the RPW values of trying to understand your man and so that the you can both be happy in the long run. And I come on here because this feels like the only place where I'm not judged if I choose to please my man. However, I also believe that it should go both ways. He should understand and respect where you are coming from and put in the effort of helping you out as well. You are still with him in spite of hi…

That's true. I feel that kind of mentality is rampant with people who have just swallowed the pill. There will be anger and resentment in the fact that they have been lied to all their life. The more experienced RPers are more level-headed and if they are in LTRs then they tend to balance between RP and BP characteristics.

The problem I see is that people feel the need to take one side or the other. Do they not realize that it's okay to be in between instead of fervently fighting all the time for a certain side? You are your own person, do what you want. I just kind of mush together the philosophies of RPW and feminism. Unfortunately, much of the modern feminism that is presented through popular media is so against my idea of being a strong female. It almost seems a bit whiny to me. Like when I was younger I was p…

Could it be that he's turning you down because he really is stressed out? When he comes home from a stressful day, he wants to relax and collect himself. Instead of you allowing him to do that, you are basically nagging him about sex because "when he walks through the door you want some" I have no human interactions all day. He's my only physical contact most of the time (except weekly meet-ups with my work group) That's something that you can take control of. You shouldn't put the pressure on h…

Well, I am a caregiver for my mother and I'm her only child. So I usually have to be more of a rock for her and the breadwinner. I find myself really needing that survival, masculine mindset which is very tiring for me at some points. Sometimes I forget to turn that mindset off whenever I see my SO. I'll prod him sometimes and ask him what he's thinking about and if he doesn't answer I'll get a little offended. But I have to remind myself, like you said, that he needs his space and if he doesn't…

Yes! When I first watched her video about video games and sexism, I was so relieved that I wasn't the only one who thought that way. And she put it into words really well. Glad you like her vids! :)

Sorry long time lurker here! How do you guys feel about the Factual Feminist? Don't let her username deter you from watching! She has wonderful critiques about the issues brought up by feminist bullies. Here's a video of her critiquing the cat calling video and I believe she makes really good points: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2NUk5AFImw I love how she points out that it was a video made by a company that specializes in making viral videos and that it's propaganda! If anything I don't mind…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
