2	What is Universal Suffrage? the use of the term suffragette. That term is exclusively for the militant WSPU, not for the general suffrage movement. -1	What is Universal Suffrage? The suffragettes were a small minority group made up of members of the WSPU who weren't for Universal Suffrafge. The term was coined in 1906 by the daily mail. Carrie Catt was a suffragist as was Alice Blackwell. The NUWSS was a far larger organisation and were vehemently non-violent sand FOR universal suffrage. This infographic needs changed and updated.
