that women engage in promiscuous behavior because they "lack self control". there is weird male solipsism and some baseline moralizing going on there that doesnt track the actual female experience. if a slut merely lacked self control theyd be on their backs 24/7. in many ways, sluts are very discerning and selective WRT who they will sleep with and the fact that they choose to be sexual quickly or engage in NSA has zero to do with lacking self control I haven't seen this written anywhere in the…

Do incels actually exist, are you sure you haven't just ignored all the girls who were into you, or failed to notice them? Had a friend in HS who thought he was hideous, until we finally broke the shit to him that this cute girl was totally into him and he was ignoring her. They're still dating like 7 years later afaik.

Oh dear. Absolutely awful advice all around. Especially in the other threads. There's a couple of different factors that need to be managed, individual sex drive, connection during sex, sexual relationship, and sexual technique. All can be improved. I'm going to focus on sex drive right now because both partners need to be interested in sex before the other stuff can help. Poor diet, (vitamin D, not enough dietary cholesterol, and everything else) lack of exercise, (especially exercises that tar…

Still, there will be more publicity. Planchey, since you're likely either Cassie Jaye herself or closely familiar with her and the campaign, what's the main point of the film? It's hard to get a read on why the red pill exists. Some people have stated they hate to see men at such a disadvantage, and suffering at that. Some say it's also better for women. I think humans should care for each other because honestly nothing else in the universe cares about what we care about. The monkeys might enjoy our bananas but they aren't going to give a shit about our sexual strategy. Does the red pill have an end goal?

purpose is just a word. People need to do shit to live. Once you're done with that shit, (since in the modern era, we can actually be done with it) you can sit on the ground all day if you want. If you don't want to sit on the ground all day, that's cool too, but it isn't necessary.

Men don't need a purpose in life. What they need to do in the modern age is provide value to society so they can get what they need in return. That's it. Purpose is just a word. People need to do shit to live. Once you're done with that shit, (since in the modern era, we can actually be done with it) you can sit on the ground all day if you want. If you don't want to sit on the ground all day, that's cool too, but it isn't necessary. Edit: Added paragraph from comment below.

This is about life, not just sexual strategy, but relationships in general. Your post reads to me like a rehash of pedestilization, but only from the perspective that this ishow most people behave, for better or worse. I changed my comment above to better reflect that.

What I'm getting at is this (the restaurant model) is how most people treat each other. I guess some guys treat the girls who they want a relationship with differently, and overinvest for some elusive future reward.

Most people (men and women) treat relationships like this. If you're putting her on a pedestal expecting something different, you're going to get burned. Most "friendships" I've had with men have the same quality, it's all about the moment, and whatever contractual agreements (sharing a house, cleaning schedules, etc.) that you've agreed to. Sometimes there's a bit of investment here and there but not much.

Disagree completely. TRP doesn't hate housewives because they're housewives--the modern equivalent of a "housewife" has most of her work done by machines. She's bored out of her mind and wastes her time away playing online games like farmville. Then she whines about everything when you get home, and does whatever she can to continue controlling and manipulating you to support her lazy lifestyle. That's the housewife TRP despises. Wives and mothers who take care of the house, (not turning on a ro…

If you break it off clearly, without ambiguity, and with the accurate belief that there is nothing that can be done for you to start loving them again, it is not immoral. However most women (and now, a few men) are incapable of insuring the latter bit. As far as I can see, there are two cases. The first case is where they do care, and expect your love. You are no longer able to provide that, and to maintain the relationship and the benefits you receive would be deceptive--essentially you are buy…

TGP is older, I think he's doing this for fun. For the rest though, it's also accepting that BPers aren't here to discuss the truth, and will act unfairly, in bad faith (i.e. lie, cheat, downvote, etc.) to protect their "interests," even when arguing with someone debating in good faith.

Well the blog post is not meant to be an easy read I wouldn't call it difficult exactly. I appreciate the effort you put into it. I wasn't interested in a history lesson, and the title "Sharpen your wit: Tips on humor from the Ancient Romans" suggested both something more practical and something slightly more unique than mostly common humor advice under a new categorization.

A lot of people here act like there's one big actor working to control the populace. Even in America, there are numerous power teams working with and against each other from different angles. It's why in most schools, we only ever learn about the horrors of American plantation slavery, while ignoring the fact that blacks were enslaving each other in Africa for thousands of years before America was ever even a thing. It wasn't nearly the same thing. Slaves in Africa could own property and were al…

I wish I had more time to flesh out a response, but for now: the nurturing, the emotional caretaking, the stroking, the allowing oneself to be used an an emotional sponge. If you spend a bit more time reading TRP, you'll notice that a re-occuring point is that not only do men must not expect this from women, (because they never actually provide it) but men must, if they want to spin plates or be an LTR, offer this kind of emotional support as a reward. TRP only has numbers on women who receive e…

I didn't offer the alternative for "Hippy-Dippy" reasons. Supplements can be hard to digest, which is why the directions often tell you to take the pills with a meal. Even then, many people still experience stomach aches and sometimes vomiting. This is common knowledge, you can google it. Also, while ODing on something is still possible with real food, it's more difficult because it's not a highly-concentrated swallow-with-water compound--you have to actually chew and swallow, and you will feel …

Eosinophilia-Myalgia Syndrome — EMS And going off what someone wrote above with how HTP has the same "side effect", we may have just stumbled upon a "smoking gun" for getting supplements banned.

By the way, just stumbled on this. Ostensibly o/c l-tryptophan supplements were banned in the US to promote the sale of prozac. http://www.ceri.com/trypto.htm more info on l-tryptophan: https://www.ihealthtube.com/content/only-two-ways-raise-brain-serotonin-levels “Thus it is clear that L-Tryptophan and Prozac are in competition with each other. If you don't want to take pills, try eating pumpkin seeds (raw) at dinnertime. They contain the amino acid l-tryptophan which (according to OP) is the initial chemical needed to produce serotonin. They're high in zinc and magnesium too, which will help with sleep. Eat them at dinnertime because they can make you feel a little drowsy. EDIT: L-tryptophan supplements, which naturally give the body more materials to make more serotonin with, were banned, ostensibly to promote the sale of prozac. the…

Pumpkin seeds are freaking delicious--just found another reason to eat them (they contain l-tryptophan). They also help with sleep and contain zinc and magnesium. (a lot of people on trp like to supplement with those). Best eaten raw for those reading.
/r/TheRedPill24/09/15 11:47 PM

The question I have now is, what do you need to do to keep your serotonin levels up from a nutritional level? We have the behavioral element of tracking the feeling in your head and sticking to environments that support it. We also have behaviors that can build up such a response in ourselves and in other people. How do we maintain sustainably high levels, without relying on substances that can be difficult to procure?

Lots of psychiatrists and psychologists expect you to surrender to them and their beliefs and instructions. It's part of what makes them crocks. That, and that they themselves barely have any justification for their treatments.

Treating them as if they have agency. Treating them as if they are mentally equal to men. Expecting them to not be emotional and solipsistic. Even attractive men who do this can be vilified.

I sympathize, I had a similar father, but I was very stubborn as well. The thing is, how did you know they were "happy." How did you know you were pleasing these others? Was it because you could feel and understand their own emotions, as if it was your own? Or was it based off of what they said? Could you feel and understand the feelings of your oppressors? My general process for "reading" self-help books is: I'll skim the book, to see if the knowledge is actionable and applicable to where I am at this moment--with the aim of returning the book and not wasting my money/supporting shitty authors.
