Like I said, Medicine is huge and include so many components that it's categorized as its own thing. Similarly this is why law isn't classified under the liberal arts. Disciplines with a scientific approaches doesn't mean they're science as far as STEM is concerned. Science under STEM as far as I have been taught are the hard and natural physical and life sciences. Which is why people don't put anthropology under STEM though it has a better claim than Psychology.

If I took anything from the internet, especially PPD to heart, average guys don't exist.

Again... the alternative is saying women should bang dudes they aren’t attracted to. I said what do you suggest unsuccessful men do about it. But if this is the only other option you're thinking of, then of course "let them eat cake" is the mantra.

To sum it up, it's clown world.

How come the moment I read the second option, I knew the women here were not going to choose that. I swear, this place is a breeding ground for ex Queen Bees.

Consider that a large portion of men here wouldn't bang a fat/obese chick it should be easy to understand. The manosphere's response to that is that the fat chick still has an easier time finding someone than the average guy. Yes 80/20. Women are attracted to men other women find attractive. Yes some dudes are left out. Yes that sucks for them. "Chad" gets her wet. Average , marriage material , "I want to commit" Joe does not. Thus the problem. Men are left out. What do you suggest they do about…

You mean careers that don't have glitzy Hollywood movies on them. So sorry.

I was always informed that Medicine became so big and includes so many other components that it became a thing on its own. Whereas Psychology is a social science which are part of the liberal arts and humanities.

How is scrounging up money for expensive coaches to learn useless shit where you could be better just going out and learning social skills in any way successful?

Oh fun. TIL from a boomer objectivist terper woman America became a brutal caste system where professions like accountant and engineer are seen as "low prestige" and heaven forbid how the blue collar professions and dirty jobs are seen. Last time I checked, accountant and engineer were very decent middle class professions. Just not ones you can make glitzy Hollywood dramas out of. Which is what you mean by 'prestige'.

Yes its low status. Only in the minds of idiotic or insular people in PPD.

So the fuck what? People don't brag about marrying an accountant either.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 05:21 AM

There was a men’s lib thread the other day where a guy commented: “I would rather be alone than risk making a single woman uncomfortable.” Think about that for a second. How did he come to this attitude if not for feminism? Should he struggle out of the hole he placed himself in, he may be inclined to speak of his experiences to men in similar positions in how his interpretation of feminism led him to such attitudes and behaviors. That is.........extremely sad tbh.

but to a LOT of people, frugality is a big no-no And that's the type of additude why so many Americans are in a crappy financial situation and debt and why we complain so much about consumerist culture. Being frugal wouldn't be an issue if you're oozing out cash. But last time I checked none of us are making Jeff Bezos money.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/19 01:58 PM

So you're saying your mom and sis are shitty manipulative people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/19 01:52 PM

The only real problem here is the frugal thing. THAT sounds like a bore. I don't know you, but whenever someone describes themselves as "frugal" they're usually not the type to have a cool fashion sense or nice car or great taste in food. To me, people complaining about being frugal is a huge red flag and someone who has the inability to do more with less.

Are we at a point in society and academia that we can be flat out honest that women select long-term mates largely for their economic benefit, with all other things being secondary? I mean, wouldn't it be nice if we can get rid of this "finding the one" and "omg my soulmate" garbage and just be honest with men about how women select and prequalify men for LTRs? Not this "muh reality" bullshit again.

I love how this is always the rebuttal to the Revenge of the nerds fantasy. But I never seen or hear this played out in real life. Either the good looking jock becomes successful and mellows out or he fucked up and became Al Bundy. The Nerd improves and all the better or he becomes a manchild. Or, as it is most often the case, they grow up, improving and fail at various stages as time goes on. This bullshit dichotomy is only a thing with Americans who watch way too much media. I think it's more like a screening of trust. As in "will you be there when things get rough?". I hear so many stories of women leaving their husband when they lost a job or business. It's a fear that women will bail when the good times end.

It's chemicals and impulses from your brain making your body feel giddy. I'm getting sick and tired of this talking point about love. Of course Love isn't magic. But stripping it to something biological and alien is dumb and destructive.

There are hot girls who don't do anything for me. I enjoy looking at them, I feel validated by the attention, but for some reason, I'm just not filled with desire. Then, there will be a girl who, by most standards, is uglier, but there's something about her that makes me want her. We'll be touching and I'll get super-hard just running my hands somewhere innocuous. Heck, she could have a little belly, and just touching her there while we make out will get me turned on. I got no explanation for it…

I'm not saying don't do these things. I'm saying it takes two to tango and a) it's not a guarantee to get a woman doing these things only slightly increases your chances and b) with the crop of woman nowadays all this improvement to get a low tier person is mismatch of goals.

All these guys talking about "muh desire". We'll talk about desire when we're both in the mood. When I just want to get off and don't like masturbating, starfish/maintenance sex is not the end of the world.

People can and will keep waving away men's problems indefinitely, sorry. No one ever has and never will care. Lol. Only if a sizable enough amount of men "got his" and the rest are sedated with bells and whistles to not do anything. Take away those and usually that's how revolutions or civilization ending conflicts start. People are only waving away men's problems because men themselves do it and they do it to follow what I call "the script" and hope. Do you really think that if men lose these t…

You and certain others aren't interested (doubtful). But my impression is that this is already the debate. Ban "incel content" however you want. The damage is done. This looks less about what's the proper mindset of approaching relationships and gender norms and more about debating the sexual and relationship problems many men in the modern world face. Which is really the reason incels are a thing in the first place. But fine whatever, do as you must.

I'm only making a passing comment on what I feel the sub has become. Not really the crux of what I'm arguing which is the validity of lookism.

TBP as a subreddit always maintained that it's a satire and mocking sub. Bloopers here only ever maintained that their existence in PPD is opposition to TRP. Because there's really no coherent and unified alternative to the red pill. Terpers claim the the blue pill is any mainstream tenet on gender relations and pair bonding but that could mean anything.

Your "real world" is an illusion and a built up lie. Plus "society" arbitrarily pick and chooses whats "normal" and what "vices" or more "acceptable". Succeed in life? Yeah right.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/19 09:30 PM

Nobody is saying women are hiding these things to screw over their son. However the lack of emphasizing them is a problem. Plus who said this is just the issue with moms? Many dads have this problem too.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/19 01:52 PM

Certain things in dating change from generation but universal truths don't. Telling your kids the common things expected in dating isn't going to kill him and it isn't going kill you. There is no "normal" stop overemphasizing it. Plus forget what "Chad" is doing and who are you to assume this person didn't have things taught to him by parents. Whoopdy Doo if you had these things figured out on your own. But for me, if I actually want to be a real goddamn parent. I don't mind teaching my kid what…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/19 10:29 PM

Like I said, nobody is telling parents to handhold their kids into the bedroom. You overemphasis on a guys social awkwardness also shows your failure as a parent. If all these things are everybody else's job, why the fuck are you parenting? Is a few talks and pointers and letting the kids do the rest that bad? What if these "social things" are not easily picked up? All your diagnosis and prescriptions sounds like a person who is too afraid to tel theirs how to handle anything, let alone dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/19 08:18 PM
1

People here who are squeamish and afraid to give their kids dating advice shows we are a society of weaklings. Whatever dumbass defense of this is equally insufferable. Nobody is asking you to handhold your kid. But not at least subtly guiding on how these things work shows you will fail as a parent and as a person.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/19 08:05 PM

Your "MaN uP" mindset is downright despicable. Like get the fuck out with these bullshit ideas of what's "normal" and "weird". You own scenario shows that I hope you'll never be parent and if you are one, I pity your kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/19 08:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/19 07:53 PM

I think the vast majority of feminists would tell a guy it’s okay to have consensual sex with someone. Not really the point. What I'm saying is that this is more of an issue of taking what feminist say seriously especially when it comes to men. Men should not be hung up and take super seriously the feminist rules of engagement. Since clearly feminist screw this up over and over again. Not to say disrespect women, but take what they demand of you with a grain of salt.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/19 12:42 PM

It's because the believe are making the rules. Whether or not this is true is not the point. If these men are often being told by voices in mainstream society (in schools, media, social circles) on how men should behave to women in really any space, and that space is gaining mainstream approval, then men seeking romance and relationships would seek such people making the rules on not just advice but what is the approve feminist rules of courtship. Because we have reached a point in modern society where adultery is legal but also excused. An abusive partner (ie a physical and emotional abuse) is the only scenario where I even consider sympathizing with the cheater. Otherwise, the cheater demonstrates not being an adult to fix or end the relationship. Any rationalization or pseudo-scientific/philosophical bull is just excuses by people not willing to be adults and fear from no longer using the partner they're cheating on.

The type of women who tell not to approach them in the public space anywhere are the one with no basic social skills and just as bad dating lives. No well adjusted person will look at people approaching people as absolutely not allowed. It's a case by case situation based both parties involved. Some are receptive and others not. It's up to you to respect when the other is not receptive. That's it. If no one is allowed to talk to anyone anywhere then human interaction will never exist.

Agree! However, the devil is in the details. Many (most) women seem to think all they have to do is state that they're good loyal partners. They seem to think that men should just accept their unsubstantiated representations. Sorry but I've fallen for this line too many times. Even us slow learners eventually figure out that most of the time these are empty meaningless promises. Going forward I've resolved to only consider women who have a proven track record. Women who have actually put in the …

The crux of RP is "how to get girls". BP or anti-RP responds with "that's not how you get girls" or "the way you get girls is bad". That's it. No matter how much you desperately try to spin it or dress it up as different. That's all this debate has ever been.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/19 04:10 PM

You clearly have no idea how a life without it can demolish a man's sense of self, self esteem and generally fuck up his life. That's where an alternative solution comes in. If we are to expect a women's demands and expectations in relation to what she offers are accepted in perpetuity, then it's best to encourage men to not derive their worth on if he had sex or is good with girls or not. That's probably the only realistic solution we have right now.

2

Still not a good thing unless you're social Darwinist.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/19 04:00 PM

Again, that's not where I'm getting at. I'm saying there's nothing necessarily wrong for women to have high standards. But if that does not come with offering things in proportion to that than just a pretty face/body and sex, not many guys will be motivated to go all these great lengths to achieve women's high standards. The only reason enough men put up with is because they want sex. Other will see it as too much as a hassle and go for other ways to get off.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/19 04:00 PM
2

And until men can control their rather biological want for sex and demand more out of women, this deterioration and cycle will continue until the future and nature sort things out. I mean if men would put up with all this because they can't stop thinking with their dicks for moment or two, I can't really say I have much sympathy for males as a gender.

A partnership. I mean damn, shouldn't the fact that you don't have to go through life alone be of some value? If that's they case, I can get that through other avenues with less effort. Relationships aren't as clinical as you make them out to be. There is value in familiarity, in love and affection, in consolement, in recreational fun. All of which you can get in non-romantic relationships. But we're talking about achieve romantic relationships in the modern developed world.

Why should men higher their standards, when they're are men already happy with what they have? If assuming that women have high standards that men getting a decent return of value. Fast food has been of reach for most Americans for decades. The reason for obesity by such is because fast food/processed food is becoming more attainable than healthier food. Same logic with porn. It''s more available because it more demanded and it's more demanded getting sex has more barriers.

Here's an argument even a toddler can understand. If you are associating yourself with people you find reprehensible and express about how they are reprehensible, regardless of any qualities you like of them, why should I care about or take seriously their reprehensible behavior when you don't take it seriously? To put it even simpler, You hang out with a robber, you complain about him robbing people and you but he cooks a mean souffle which you find justifies you still hanging around with this …

That is if you view right-wing politics as only unrestrained free market economics which not how I view the right. Plus I'm not all cares about what contradictions the redpill thinks since I'm focusing on BP. Ultimately I don't care about either sides contradictions as a cause for concern. Just like to point them out.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 09:28 PM
2

It's not a point of your personal politics (You don't have to be a communist or even a leftist to oppose objectivism and support redistribution economics), or that I'm concerned about the contradictions (I'm really not) nor that I think such nuances shouldn't exist (it's a supposedly free country after all). Just I'm merely making an observation that people have these nuances. Not that such approach would win minds and hearts but I feel that wasn't the goal anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 09:20 PM

It's disappointing, but that's the world we exist in. Instead of whining about how someone won't sleep with you due to your race, it would be better to push for reshaping of cultural norms in a way that doesn't alienate everyone else. Don't look at me. I'm in the mindset of "I'm not interested in all of you guys approval, I just want one of you".
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 08:44 PM
7

Both of you are wrong. I meant that BP acknowledge that there isn't a one size fits all approach compared to the RP's assessment that there are general ironclad rules in a woman's attraction to a man. Like I told you before, I worded it in a way so as an RPer won't come up and say the opposite. Plus, I'm not really looking for dating advice, let alone a one size fits all approach. I lean BP if anything and even though I admit I have a shit resume when it comes to women and relationships, if at a…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 08:41 PM
3

Trust me, if you dig deep enough, it's plain as day. "Le you're not entitled to female companionship. Now me let explain why I'm entitled to such and such.". I believe this doubling down stems from perspective. For the redpiller, any advice a bluepill tell them would be useless since part of the appeal to TRP is opposition to BP strategies that have never worked for them. For the Black Piller, neither side specifically address "lookism", which is one's facial features, height and at times race. …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 08:31 PM

But if you don't want much chicks & you are not alpha, you don't need that. Which is pretty much me. I'm not really the guy who wants to bang a chick a night. A goof romp with the gf every now and then works for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 07:57 PM
1

When incels means looks they specifically mean facial structure and lowkey race. Although I do admit that being in shape, having a good hairstyle/wardrobe and not being a stalker can help.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 07:56 PM
1

I worded it in a way as to assume some RPs might oppose that they are doing a "one size fits all" strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 07:39 PM
1

Well to go off on your previous comment, what works for you is not going to work for someone else necessarily, or vice versa. He may had the impression and idea most incels have, in which both BP and RP tend to ignore that looks matter above all else and that no advice that doesn't address that will help.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/19 07:36 PM
1

Forget the "one size doesnt fit all" comment. I'm talking about the "let there be laissez faire in dating but nothing else" kind of thinking some posters have here based on my observations.

I have recently been browsing this sub and Blues always insists they're just a critical reaction and saterization of the Red Pill. I think it's because those in opposition to the Red Pill come from a variety of ideologies as to not make a coherent ideal and even if they did, that would mean their ideas would have to face scrutiny against TRP. They're not having that.
