Dude, I think you are confusing deciding that you are attracted and realizing that you are attracted. You don't think to yourself "it want to be attracted to her....Done! Now I am!" You think to yourself "She looks like this(which I like) and acts like that(which I like)....I find her attractive because of those qualities!"
