Think during the day, or even at night in bed, "How would so-and-so being carrying himself? In what manner would he respond to this type of situation?" Basically, jack someone's style, because they probably used someone else's to get where they are. It's like a father-son type deal, except it's not your father lol. I may not have the highest of confidence or self-esteem, but my experience with both is just accepting everything you have and are with positivity. To be yourself, just forget yourself - Respond with the first thing that comes to mind even if it's lame. I'd say start with that, then move on to asking questions related to your convo topic.
