Makes sense since, historically, that's how it's been. Men had typically higher paying work and better jobs, women stayed in the household and took care of kids. This foundation was inherently built by the patriarchy and now it is an everyday occurrence to where women may take advantage of a man, etc. We even have sugardaddy culture nowadays which further normalizes this!
