Maybe that would work. He turns me down half the time I offer anyways and rarely asks me to do it on his own.

He seems interested in sex enough but he’s rarely initiative about it, even for things like blowjobs. He has a pretty low sex drive, even in past relationships. I almost find myself wondering if the reason it’s not working out is because he just doesn’t seem the point in putting effort into it. If he’s not feeling sexual, why would he put the physical exertion into climaxing when he could just lay down and do nothing?

He’s a big guy, not fat but a little extra and very tall. I’m pretty small. I don’t think it’s that, it’s more so that his member has a very extreme curve to it so finding positions of being able to fit together are difficult. We’ve talked about children and the want to have them and I’ve expressed my fears about waiting too long due to fertility decline in my thirties. I think part of it is that he has a very sheltered upbringing and only now feels like he gets to have his own life and make his…

I definitely will. I just appreciate being able to talk about it with people that understand that marriage is something to work through and not just discard at the first sign of trouble. It’s a lonely thing to go through and not something I want to talk to my local, super feminist girlfriends about, haha.

He doesn’t seem terribly interested at all, to be honest. Every single time we’ve tried has been at my suggestion. He brings up wanting to have sex relatively frequently but either doesn’t follow through or asks me to just give him a blowjob instead. We only went to the doctor because I mentioned that he should get some blood work done since he hadn’t been for a check up for a few years.

I think the problem is that we’ve had many blowjobs. We do it every couple of days and now he has trouble finishing with anything that requires him to exert himself. He’d honestly just much rather lay on his back and have me take care of him but unfortunately, that’s not how babies are made. :/

That’s entirely possible, he complains about tightness so maybe my vagina? Who knows, haha. I just know he’s uncomfortable and finding a position that works has just been a nightmare, especially because of the erectile dysfunction because it feels like we’re on a timer to figure it out.

Sex has always been very important to me and I have had partners before my husband. I was drawn to him and his traditional mindset and creativity enough that I was willing to accept and respect that he wanted to remain chaste til marriage. I was truly not concerned at all about our sex life because we’ve always had an over abundance of chemistry. Obviously, I’ve learned that chemistry isn’t everything. The foot up the butt thing was definitely a joke, it’s just his sense of humour, he’s told me …

I don't have any advice to give you as I'm in the exact same situation and I'd like to see what other people have to offer up, but I would like to offer my support and empathy. It's a really tough thing to feel like your partner doesn't have the same drive and excitement that you do.

I have a pretty good idea of what he wants. A traditional church wedding and a typical reception but he seems almost annoyed with all of the questions and planning.

My boyfriend and I lived an eleven hour bus ride away from each other and spent two years getting to know each other online. It didn't really feel like fireworks the first time we did, I was especially awkward and way too quiet but I was also a little in awe of him. The second time, after another year had passed was like electricity. I was dying for him to kiss me and waiting for him to make a move felt like the longest thing I've ever waited for. We just needed time and comfort with each other.…

Thank you for the advice. I'll look into that as well, although in my country they are expected to be licensed. I could still try to get an internship however and learn the business as I get my license, which is two days of schooling and an exam.

An event coordination program was what I was planning on taking. The one here is three years long for a diploma, no certificates available. Also very true. I think I may see if I can find something over the summer!

Really just the cost of books, tuition is free where I live. I would still be working, just less hours. An internship is unlikely since there's only one wedding planning agency in my city. I'm hoping to open my own business since there's a gap in the industry here but you're right, the communications degree is unnecessary and more so because I'm something of a completionist. I'll rethink that part.

I used to think it was the city, but lately I think it's the countryside. I'm grateful for my job. I'm glad I can make ends meet. I'm grateful for my boyfriend, how patient he is and how much he is willing to do to make sure I am loved and looked after. I am grateful for spring. I'm very much over this long, long winter.

Not the original commenter but someone who deals with it, I've explained it to my boyfriend as though I'm a rechargeable battery. When I'm fresh, I can last a long time through a social encounter before needing to recharge. The more frequently I'm charged, however, the less energy I have before my next charge. It's a miniscule change, but I go from being able to be out for a few days to not being able to be out for more than an hour. Then, it's time for a reset. This is usually a week or so of j…

That's a good thing to realize. Sometimes, you just need to step back and listen. I'm sorry to hear about your break up, but there's always lessons to be learned. You'll find the right person and by then, you'll have the tools to treat them well in return!

Thank you for your story, especially for what you said about feeling like we shouldn't talk about it. Sometimes I feel like he's happier when I don't mention it, but how do I not mention it when it gets so bad? I want to share most things with him, the good and the bad. Thank you for your kind words and I should really check out the Shape Tape concealer, I totally forgot it existed. Might help my big blue luggage bags under my eyes, I look more and more like a zombie every day!

We actually have to use the Laundromat, which is even more of a pain. At least it all gets done at once but getting there and waiting for it all to get done and then folding once we get home is grueling. I think he just hates the taste of rice. He will eat it, but not more than once every two weeks. I, on the other hand, love rice. Somehow, he still finds it in his heart to eat sushi...Haha!

Wow, this is incredible advice. I'll admit that I'm something of a pushover in a lot of situations and I fear being disliked over saying no. The last time I was home sick from work he asked if I would go to the Laundromat (I don't have a car, he was taking the car to work, I would have to walk and I was SICK, which he doesn't quite understand) and I said no. I then spent the rest of the day feeling guilty about it, not because he inspired that feeling but because I hate saying no to him. Sometim…

I like the idea of having a viewable list. I was thinking of finding an app where I can share lists of stuff that needs to get done so if he finds time in his day and is so inclined, he can see the list. Also, no. What's farro taste like? How do you cook it?
/r/RedPillWomen05/03/17 05:08 AM

The dishwasher is a good idea, I'm not sure that we have much space in our tiny apartment but maybe a tabletop model would fit the bill. A maid is also an option. There is a possibility that I will be going on a sick leave from work soon so I should be able to find the time and energy for a little while, but the next time that I'm back to work and things look bad again I will seriously consider it. Maybe I will do some investigating to be prepared!

Honestly, most things I cook but he loves this burrito bowls I make in mason jars for lunches. Also a big fan of spaghetti. I'm making chicken and waffles next week, I think. He has recently put a ban on rice and quinoa though, says quinoa tastes like dirt. On to find an acceptable grain! Any suggestions?

Thank you! Leveling up is exactly how I would describe it. Going from good to great is something that gives me a lot of joy. He made a comment about "the spark coming back with a vengeance" to me today and it made me smile, because that's exactly how I feel.

Thank you, I pride myself on my creative problem solving skills, or so it says on my resume! Honestly, I just did not want to tell him what to do but I needed to quell the nagging feeling inside me that something was NOT right about her and their relationship. I do feel bad since she has basically stopped speaking to him and cut back on messaging, but only insofar as it goes to affect his mood because as good as his "screw them" attitude can be, he does care about hurting other people or them be…

As someone who suffers from intense anxiety and other mood related issues, let me share some advice with you. FOCUS ON SELF CARE. You can't be there for him until you're there for yourself. It's hard, I get it. What works for me is when the anxiety overwhelms to take a step back and prioritize. You're worried about your weight and skin. Every time you feel the beast clawing up inside of you, stop whatever you're doing (if possible!) and give yourself a facial or work out. Whatever you decide to …

He is absolutely an idealist, haha. Very attentive but also a million miles away half the time. He loves it. He gets frustrated with me sometimes because sometimes his friends will invite him out and I won't go because I wasn't specifically invited and he's basically instigated a "Where I go, you go." policy. It's cute. :)

He definitely did the right thing. He's had issues in the past reading women and their intent. He had a coworker in the past who was being very flirty and giving him gifts and he took it as friendliness until we all had dinner together and I was able to point out that it was clearly flirtation. He immediately stopped discussing anything with her at work that wasn't strictly professional, but he's not the best at reading intent. The approach could definitely have ended poorly, although for me it …

We discussed it this evening and he contacted her, telling her straight up that that aspect of their relationship had changed since he had instead been giving her excuses when she would ask him so as not to hurt her feelings. She reacted very strongly and had some very rude things to say about me, which did not sit well with him. I think he's realizing that though he may not have taken anything emotional away from their past relationship, clearly she has and that his entertaining of her is foste…

It's so hard. Just the sheer anxiety of it is terrible. I want to believe it's innocent. Basically, the reason he says he's friends with this girl is because she doesn't have very many. She's awkward and not very attractive physically and younger and struggles a lot. The conversations I've seen between them are mostly her getting down on herself and him comforting her. I think he has something of a saviour complex and feels responsible for being her friend because she doesn't have many. He's cla…

Are we the same person? I moved across province to be with my man and I also feel an insane sense of dread when there's the blinking light on his phone from Skype (Discord now, since he stopped using Skype) and texts. Hard to cope with. My boyfriend never tells me I'm not good enough, the opposite actually. It still doesn't help the disquiet I feel.

He absolutely is not great at boundaries. He had a very closeted and extreme upbringing and it shows. However, I do try to understand and help him regardless. I've spoken with him about it at length and made my side of it known, that I feel like the only person who should be turning him on is me. He says he hasn't been chatting with her like that anymore. I guess I just don't know what the next step is since I'm not ready to end the relationship over this.

Thank you. The way he explained it to me was that it was his substitution for other stimuli and didn't see it as him making a connection with her, exactly. He claims that it was more about the characters they were roleplaying as and that he wasn't envisioning her at all. I feel like part of it is that we used to write stories like that when we were long distance, before I moved to the same city as him and I stopped when I moved. I find myself wondering if, since he claims it's a substitute for p…
