4	Fires need women to put them out more than boys need male teachers as role models. Yep you read that right, quota for female firefighters OK but helping men become teachers would "unlawfully discriminate on the grounds of gender". As someone who works as a first responder, it wouldnt, in any way imaginable. In a firefighter role it is in no way beneficial to have a weaker co worker. If it is a firefighter/paramedic department, women are still at a disadvantage when it comes to that role as well. They aren't as strong meaning they put their partner at greater risk of injury when trying to move patients. I'd like to add though that there are women out there who are capable to do these jobs.
