Suzanne Venker has a chapter in one of her books that is literally "decide to stay".

Perhaps your wife expects you to take the lead on finances, especially if you are well versed with financial matters and are responsible around investments and spending.

I'm in grad school right now. If I knew what I know now before I started grad school at 22, I would not have gone to grad school. I met my current partner two years into grad school, and I dove into red pill theory after I passed my qualifying exams. I am not enjoying the academic atmosphere. I accelerated within my degree to finish by 26, and I already feel like that is going to be late. Considering that I want to home school my children and not have other adults raise my children for me (e.g. …

This is good. Thanks for taking the time to share. I don't think 'blame' is the right word. I'm not a fan of blaming people. I prefer awareness. Yes, a lot of fault is in the collective feminism movement. I don't disagree with that. It will take some time before the needle starts to shift. Some of the work to get there will be on the women. Some on the men. And lots from the government and its policies.

While I don't have anything to contest in your comment, I think that some men have a role to play in why we've gotten to this point. No, they shouldn't bear the full responsibility, but it takes two to tango. Someone has to give an average or below average woman attention. Why do men keep giving them attention? They feed the cycle, and propagate the women's behavior, at least in part, especially when they are HVM just looking for some no strings attached bedroom fun. Same for simping and paying …

While I can't speak to your perception of another user's comments, I can say that some of the things that user mentioned have been true for me and my relationship. Have you read Fascinating Womanhood, any of Laura Doyle's books, or even Suzanne Venker's books? These books are highly regarded here in RedPillWomen and in RedPillWives. Many women live by the principles in these books and have mentioned that their lives (and their relationships) improved drastically after they started applying those…

"Don't ask a fish how to fish. Ask a fisherman." Some of the best dating advice I've been given came from men, because it was exactly what they wanted, not a proxy of what they wanted. In my opinion, your comments are valid, including submission in the bedroom. For me, the sex and the relationship got so much better after I dropped a lot of my masculine qualities and set out to please and serve my partner.

Lots of men lurk and comment here. In my experience, the men's comments have been appropriate and valid, and often in addition to what the women discuss. The mods do a good job around here.

After hearing so many good things about FW, I finally picked up a copy. I can't believe I waited this long to read it.

Just a comment on the contraceptive pill -- it can negatively impact a female's perception of her partner, as noted in "Sex at Dawn". The authors mentioned how when the wife came off the pill, she no longer loved her partner and felt indifferent to him. Correlation is not causation, but the contraceptive pill doesn't come without side effects.

I don't have much to offer, but I read a few eye opening books and watched a documentary on how nursing homes operate recently, and it has completely changed my mind about nursing homes. I now very much want my parents to live in my home, as long as they are not disruptive, intrusive, or do not have mental conditions that add more stress to my living situation (for example, severe dementia).

I can relate with yummy food contributing to me getting off track as well. I had a couple strict weeks of calorie counting, and then fell off the wagon, and haven't counted since. What those two weeks did help me do was gain awareness -- awareness for how big some of my portions are, how much sugar I was consuming, and how I was eating when I wasn't hungry, just because something was on the counter. My goal this week is to not reach for sugar right away, but grab some sugar free gum, have some f…

I dove a bit more into self-care. Making time each week for a mask, doing my nails, and coloring my hair once my roots start to show.

I'll chime in as well. I think eye contact goes a long way. On our first date, we stood across from each other saying good bye. We hugged, and he caught me looking at his lips, so he initiated a kiss. Just a gentle, lip to lip kiss. I know the RP community at times frowns upon first date kisses, but it was important for me, which is why I dropped hints. I wouldn't have initiated, because I like when the man leads.

The best time to change was 10 years ago. The next best time is now. Congratulations!!! It takes a lot of guts to talk about that in a collected manner without losing a temper. And crying is a reprieve -- I do that alone too.

I recently went through a Tolstoy short story binge, and I echo your comments about red pill themes showing up in Russian lit. Esther's book is fantastic! I hope you enjoy it!

Reading Suzanne Venker's "How to Find a Husband" book. So far, very very good. Watching lots of RP content, and listening to JP podcasts, and Bret Weinstein. The YouTube algorithm thinks I'm a male!

Never been on the pill. Never intend to go on it. The side effects I've heard about are just not worth it for me. Also, in the book "Sex at Dawn," there was mention that a woman who is on birth control and is attracted to her man can lose attraction once she comes off the pill, since it's a hormonal pill. Kinda makes you think twice about women that say they are no longer into their partner (immediately or shortly after) getting off the pill.

I do not listen to her music because it's not my style, and also because I do not agree with the image and message she portrays.

Depends if you want the male perspective or the female perspective. Both a little different, but useful, in my experience.

My SO and I both read it separately. I thought it was a great book! Esther is really good at what she does.
