the LOTR is a great example of men actually having emotions and friendship and feelings rather than just depressing it all to be action douchebros, which is part of why I love these movies so much also eowyn saying “I am no man” and defeating the unkillable guy? she’s my heroine lol

the fake braces is one of the grossest porn tropes to me. I mean it’s all fucking disgusting, but there’s something especially creepy and pedophilic about fake braces

I’m going to start anyways: 1. Age gap 2. Deferring to mommy 3. Humiliating your wife by announcing her sexual history at the wedding and essentially calling her a whore Edited to add: 4. Hyper religion 5. Calling her his wife already? so many red flags

I feel the same way about all the Johnny Depp stuff too tbh. Obviously he went through something awful and I don’t want to disparage that. But watching every one stand up for him on the internet when I’ve NEVER seen these motherfuckers even lift a finger when women are abused and murdered everyday...

I feel this so hard. Just last night, my friend was telling me a story about her boyfriend and she was so happy about him engaging in some bare minimum bullshit and it was all I could to not roll my eyes at it !!!! FDS has totally changed my outlook and it’s inescapable lol

IIRC, he said something in the comments about how he thought her motherly instincts were going to kick in...boy how stupid do you have to believe that a woman who is actively telling you she wants to abort is going to develop motherly instincts imho this scrote got everything he deserved but I feel bad for the kid

So true. My ex bf was a total “nice guy” — quiet, shy, artistic, played guitar, etc. but in reality he was an ass who demanded I engage in super gross BDSM and had a raging porn addiction and frequently talked about how “entitled” women were and overall just a major 🚩. Appearances are often misleading, so my general approach is to trust no man at first. Sucks, but it’s the way it has to be

This is a perfect way of putting it. The fantasy I have of sex in my head? Hell yeah, I want that!!! But translating the theory into practice...99.9% of the time is entirely unsatisfying and honestly makes me feel gross afterwards

good lord. this reminds me of a friend from high school. when we were 18, she went on a date with this 22yo who showed up to pick her up thirty minutes late, high out of his mind. they get to the movie theater and he doesn’t have his wallet so she buys them everything. this high dumbass orders like $30 of movie food (popcorn, large drink, all that shit) and proceeds to eat all of it. he then fell asleep when the movie STARTED. and slept the whole time. AND YET she gave him another chance. seven …

I think it’s because historically they didn’t have to. Women were so conditioned to “FIND HUSBAND OR BE WORTHLESS” that men didn’t really have to try. And now that women are realizing our worth comes from outside of husbands, the scrotes still haven’t adapted and think having a hot woman by their side is something they deserve rather than something they have to work for

this is one of my favorite books that completely changed my view on the sex industry! I used to be a liberal feminist “woohoo bondage is empowering I love BDSM and porn hehe” and that book was part of my journey towards rejecting all of those that of ideas

This just gave me horrible flashbacks to when I was a Pickmeisha who did the same thing. I thought it would be “cool” and “fun” and instead I just felt sick watching my ex rub all over those poor women

Wow this reminds me of a friend I had. Her bf refused to let her meet his family OR friends for two years and lied about her existence (he had a good relationship with his family and got along well with his parents, who I knew through working in the same field), and she always said "he's just private like that." Girl, you've been living together for a year, dating for two, and you think that it's normal that he has completely hidden you from his family and friends and never told anyone you exist…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
