Got it. I have read many comments from people who dislike both parties so much they want to see the whole house burn down (which itself seems like a populist movement) which is really scary. I don't think my concern for the future is unwarranted but it also doesn't keep me up at night.

I used to. I found I've lost my FOMO for the most part in my late 30s, so I'm not that type anymore. If I had friends at a bar, I'd consider it, but alcohol also fucks with my sleep, energy level and appetite so I usually only drink socially and don't want it to be a common thing.
