Yes! Self respect and confidence are key. If you consider bad behaviors acceptable or like them because that’s what you experienced growing up then wake up and heal yourself. My mother’s low self esteem and my father’s constant erosion of her remaining self respect felt wrong to me my whole childhood. I made mistakes, but I sought help through therapy. Figure out how to love yourself and you will make healthy choices about who to allow in your life.
