Women are far more swayed by social opinions and consensus than men are. Take a look at the societal messaging around marriage and cheating that’s aimed at women. There’s a ton of “git it girl” approval of cheating and sleeping around that’s packaged as “empowerment.” Meanwhile mentions of marriage are often presented in a discouraging light.
