There's a simpler reason. If an intervention is found to give health benefits then it will need to be covered by health insurance. Otherwise the insurance companies can refuse to foot the bill. The fact that this is published in Bmj and that the authors raise concerns mainly about pedobots, means that this is more to do with measurable health benefits of bots. The health benefits are hard to measure though and that's a different discussion.

Yes indeed. Race realism is when you state facts however unpleasant they are. If someone says the average white male is taller than the average Asian, that's not racism. If on the other hand, he tells a specific person that he is unworthy of basic respect because he is not a member of a particular race, that's racism. The two are not the same.
