Modesty and humility are passé, just like mental fortitude, facing adversity instead of whining about it, and a host of other previously admired personality traits.

The rural areas of India in some parts are untouched - but where I'm from (Punjab) even that's not safe. This American envy and a wish to be the same - along with hoards of emigration to Canada has left a lot of people trying to mimic their lifestyle. You can probably guess the outcome. It's a tragedy to say the least.

young ready-to-cuck male generations Even your newer generations are cucked? I thought growing up in a conservative environment would've kept their masculinity in check. In India, our problem is that we chose a Left-ward direction at the time of independence.

Don't women also process alcohol differently? i.e. they get more drunk from the same amount of alcohol? So technically, an equal consumption makes them more drunk on average.

Most therapy is useless. What a man needs is another man to talk it out with man to man, discuss plausible solutions and conclude the matter once and for all. The best thing about men is that they don't listen to console, but to help. Therapy is mostly consoling rather than actually doing something about the problem. Who wants pity?

Indian women have the biggest victim complex, especially the rich and upper class. Privileged women here in India think they're the epitome of oppression.

Are you in school by any chance? Women at that age aren't reliable relationship material at all. I've been through the exact same shit.

It is more that women are just spoiled and given advantages that men do not have. Do not say this to an indian women in this day and age, they're raging feminists and all about oppression. Even more rabid than your average western woman.

I bet everyone here knows of Atleast men ruined in some way because of the programming. Have lost plenty of good friends to it, I understand. It isn’t healthy and it is what most men are doing...including alpha so Nothing is fruitful as long as your woman doesn't respect you. Even the tingles alphas provide eventually fade away. The only way to get any dedication out of women is for them to admire and respect you, a hard feat. Women used to be programmed by their mothers to admire their husbands…

women are everything in a man’s life. This is deeply disturbing. Even if you want good married life, this is not how you achieve it. She needs to admire and respect the man for it to have any chance of working out.

you could imagine the insane competition a guy has to endure just to have some sexual validation. I'm well aware, I'm an Indian. I have experienced that. The juice still isn't worth the squeeze, it's cheaper to save up for a trip to Thailand or Indonesia. A marriage costs far more. stoicism is incredibly strong here. I've lost countless friends to pussy, it's mind boggling how enslaved men become to it. Stoicism comes only after getting burnt, but even then not to everyone. I came to understand …

Some Indian men are horribly desperate to get married. Those who are married are often miserable. It just doesn't add up. Why do something with such a high rate of failure, and constant misery is worse than a divorce.

I do not enjoy any interaction with women anymore, especially informal/personal chat. They're profoundly uninteresting people with few hobbies and interests in life. A woman with a personality is very rare, it's mostly a facade. Having an aloof vibe sure helps them keep away, unless of course you somehow display wealth. In that case, good luck.

All it takes is one relationship, Indian women are seriously neurotic and absolutely insanely showered with attention from thirsty men. I'm also an Indian and it took 2 relationships for me to turn from a good natured guy with a positive view of women to a bitter and jaded cynic who avoids every interaction with a woman. Even the nicer ones just can. not. give up their orbiters in committed relationships. They always want a "best friend" around.

Being nice to her worked for me. As long as I was an ass, she pursued me endlessly. Be polite, a little bit "non macho" and it should work. That and pretending you're suddenly poor.

Yeah, so many kids these days grow up on Hollywood courtesy of Netflix and Amazon prime. It's tragic the stuff they're being indoctrinated with. Bollywood is also increasingly starting to just imitate Hollywood trends to stay relevant among teens. Overall, it's a clusterfuck. I'm an Indian but I'm readily looking to get out of the anglosphere. Feminism is especially bad in the US/UK/Canada and now India.

Inferiority complex and putting English on a pedestal plays a role. Aspirational Indians differentiate themselves with their English and wish to live a life like those in the developed world do. That's one of the reasons so many look to emigrate. Those who can not emigrate try to bring the trash here because there's no original thinking being done in the English speaking circles. The old culture has been resigned to the local languages which are looked down upon as "backward" by a large section …

Yeah, law in my country entails a struggle of 5-7 years and I'll be in my mid 30s by the time I'm done. Too much financial hardship in prime years when one should ideally be enjoying the rewards of their work.

When I was 23, I passed up on going to law school because my then gf said the financial struggle it entailed wouldn't work for us. A few years down the line, we broke up and I only have regrets. It wasn't something I would've done just for money, I genuinely enjoy the work.

Labor, the Greens and independents Jacqui Lambie and Stirling Griff opposed the bill, which effectively abolishes the specialist, standalone family court. What does this mean for the vulnerable? Women and children? Given all the shit leftists are throwing up, I assume it's only a good thing. Funny how strong and independent women become vulnerable when it comes to leeching off of men.

Extreme self reliance? Lol. It's like they're looking to excuse their pathetic behaviour by getting men to behave in the exact same way. Bitch I ain't gonna start depending on people, that actually allows me to have healthy relationships in my life with other people.

I'm on the younger side but enjoy relative economic freedom courtesy of some good decisions and some luck (supportive father). When I broke up, I realised how much time it ended up freeing. It's not just the time you spent on it, but also the time you end up spending just recovering from that exhaustion. I have more energy, I just feel.. free. To that end, I've tried to put my free time to good use. I spend ~8 hours studying/working, but apart from that, I usually spend time playing chess and re…

This is true. I knew of TRP before I got into relationships, but only swallowed them after women basic forced them down my throat. It was a woman who awakened me to all this, there's a difference in knowing something and understanding it by heart.

Mental fortitude is passé, it's all about whining. That's what gets attention online. If you're happy, you end up lonely in the age of SM. Negativity sells. Alternatively, women are trying to make their shitty behaviour acceptable and encouraging men to be the same so that nobody calls them out on not handling their own shit.
/r/MGTOW14/05/21 06:02 PM
5

Men don't get robbed, killed? If I was robbed in an odd place, people will question my being there. Is that victim blaming? Can I whine online? No. That's because men are taught personal responsibility and to accept consequences of their decisions, undertaking calculated risks in life. Women are chasing a world that's not possible in this reality. Going on off beaten paths is always a risk/reward equation. Can't have nice things without the risk.

Because they've never been expected to bring anything, simps will worship them whereas alphas don't give a shit as long as they get a quick fuck out of it. Women can develop a personality, their mothers used to instill it in them in the olden days, nowadays the dynamics of sexual marketplace don't require it. Since women have too many options, they don't feel inclined to "keep a man" rather expect to be "kept" by a man. Marriage/relationships were created to benefit women, not men.

A prenup isn't, what I'm saying is a mutually attested statement of facts which can later be helpful in the cases. It can protect you from outrageous claims. Divorce settlements in India are capped at 25% alimony or 1/3rd assets lump sum once.
/r/MGTOW09/05/21 01:49 AM

If you have to get married in India, a quasi prenuptial agreement stating how many assets the man has before marriage and how much transfer of assets has taken place during the marriage (for that pesky dowry law) can be really helpful in getting reasonable judgements. Of course, best to just GYOW.

The irony of this is, women have a biological need to raise children and if not fulfilled, they go nuts. Men only have a need to spread their seed, not raise it. These new sjw movements are all led and pushed by childless white women, why? Misplaced maternal instincts, however messed up. They need victims or people they can pretend to care about.

The original commenter and I are talking about accusations of coercion and control in a relationship being discussed in the post. This isn't about all kinds of accusations because anybody who hadn't been living under a rock knows what happened in the metoo movement. But THIS post, the laws being discussed pertain to relationships exclusively.

Destructive behavior and simping is one of the reasons a lot of reasonable men have to GTOW because the expectations get warped. A lot of men here would actually be down for fulfilling relationships - which are no longer possible because of the behaviours discussed here. Nothing sensitive about it, it's more like venting for a lot of people still coming to terms with how things are.

Yeah, too polite and some of them might consider it an invite to be personal. Polite yet aloof, but also not creating any mystery about yourself because they love mysteries. I have also regrettably previously acted in ways to GET their attention, I got burnt in relationships which lead me to using my skills and knowledge to achieve the opposite results now.
/r/MGTOW24/04/21 10:06 AM

Yeah, acting simple is very powerful in keeping women away. I was surrounded by women for 5 years of college, I have learned to successfully navigate female dominated spaces without drawing attention. The key is to being everything they wouldn't want in a mate, lol. It starts with being polite.

There are always the kind who just say "just don't be abusive bro it's not that hard". Just the other day on r/soccer a guy claiming divorce laws (in the UK) are shitty to men he was getting downvoted and it's an almost all male sub. People were saying stuff like "you've never been in a mature relationship". Clown fucking world man.
/r/MGTOW24/04/21 05:04 AM

Yeah it's not worth the risk, but you also don't need them getting suspicious. I used to be pretty extroverted, now everybody just assumes I'm a reserved person and I am fine with that. LGBT stuff isn't yet big in my country, I'm gonna start claiming I'm asexual if anybody bothers me.
/r/MGTOW24/04/21 05:00 AM

Guess how many will ever be prosecuted under this? Women are usually far more manipulative, so many of them have personality disorders. But the law says that abuse happens based on power structure and men have power over women so, fuck you for having a penis.

When men commit adultery, it's not calculated or manipulative, they don't try to fight and then seek to "open up" the relationship, they usually make a mistake when they get horny and can't think straight. Both men and women do it, but how they do it is completely different.

Yeah fair enough, marriage is what has brought upon the era of prosperity. People would become far more destructive without a child and a future to worry about. People also work incredibly hard for family and the kids, leading to the development. As a MGTOW, I notice I don't much care about contributing to the world, only about my comforts in life.

My question was supposed to be an existential one rather than a financial one. Where does it end - from life's meaning/end point of view. As far as finances are concerned, I understand and agree with you. At this point I just tend to my money and it grows, don't have to do any arduous labour.

I've a serious question, not a snarky one, "where does it end?". I earn decent and have good net worth. It's going to be useless to me when I die, I live a good lifestyle and ensure fulfillment of hobbies, so what's the point? To be specific, what's the point of endlessly increasing your wealth?
