Exactly, but somehow they think that is unconditional love?? Cmon now.

Oh the fuck they do, love unconditionally, lol! I love you unconditionally as long as you look as hot as you do right now, never gain weight or get older, cater to my every whim and don’t need to lean on me too hard for support, take care of my home, give me all the sex in all the ways I want, never complain about anything I do, and go quietly when I find someone else to chase. Honestly, fuck ALL the way off with that.

Nothing like having a real flesh and blood woman right next to you and still working yourself into a foam-flecked incel rage.

For some reason they don’t seem to classify anger and self pity as emotions…

From what I see in a lot of the relationship subreddits, a lot of the women who leave men do it because they have realized that they are tired of shouldering 90% of the labor in the relationship, that their husband is emotionally immature and is not an equal partner but another dependent, has had needs expressed to him many times and either blew it off or got angry and lashed out, and if you read much in the just no subs, doesn’t have his wife’s back when his relatives and esp his mother are hos…

I used to review romance novels for a website and there was a lot of insider kind of terms for tropes that people loved and hated. Like most people hated plots that relied on a Big Misunderstanding—the ones where the main characters temporarily break up or are furious with each other for 100 pages when it was something that 5 minutes of conversation could sort out. OP is correct about the whole “he loves her so much he can show his kind and sensitive side”. The jerk character isn’t an all-around…

You can judge dates by whatever standards you want. Just be aware that some of your standards may be interfering with your ability to have an enjoyable dating life. The best thing to do is to Let go of rigid expectations and get to know anyone you date as an individual. The “rules” and “it is knowns” of alpha gurus and incel discussions are bunk. As long as you believe that bullshit, you are hurting your chances and making yourself unattractive as a partner.

Okay I’m out. If you think reading Reddit and watching videos is “listening to women” then whatever. Good luck, enjoy trapping yourself in a fictitious ideology that makes you miserable and unfuckable. Have a great life.

The biggest problem with red pill stuff is that it emphasizes these pseudo scientific pronouncements about what men want and what women want and never, ever, LISTENS TO WOMEN TALK ABOUT WHAT THEY WANT AND WHAT THEY EXPERIENCE AND NEVER BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY IT. There are plenty of women find the so called redpill ideal to be fully repugnant. Not attractive at all. There are plenty of women who prefer gentle non warriors and are glad people like you are not thrown in a bog. And no, we do not…

Here’s the thing tho. No one here is “selling” anything. I’m here because I have a lot of compassion for people like you who are stuck with this toxic zero sum ideology literally poisoning your entire life. No one pays me to try to talk to people and provide another point of view. You know who does get paid to spew their shitty philosophy at you in video after video and podcast after podcast? Redpill/manosphere influencers. And you are out here peddling for them for free.

Well that wasn’t what you asked tho, I answered the question you asked. You didn’t develop a toxic worldview overnight, so it is going to take a while to detox. I would definitely do some work and self-reflection certainly before trying to find a partner. The biggest thing to work on losing (as opposed to gaining empathy and an ability to appreciate other view points) is the transactional focus of redpill thinking about women. If you are jumping into trying to date with all the blah-blah about h…

I think the biggest issue with red pill ideology is that it’s become an all encompassing explanation for everything that an unhappy segment of the population is mad about, and that it also kills empathy for everyone else except themselves. My theory is that one way to detox would be to reopen your mind to other perspectives. Red pill entices people to place a lot of energy on their own misery and their own reactions to things that feel unfair. Put that energy instead into consciously working to …

I saw something saying “imagine what the world would be like if women were allowed to be angry and men were allowed to be sad.” And this red pill absolutism about “lol it’s science” makes me think about that a lot.

And if you stay isolated consuming propaganda for a long time, when you do go out you have had a particular set of lenses damn near welded over your eyes so that you are seeing every interaction in the context of the propaganda. Not to mention the anger and frustration and entitlement inherent in how that propaganda shapes its male targets makes them extremely unpleasant to interact with so it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. They go home with their suspicions confirmed that they are unfuckab…

I’m bi (Afab, she/her) and have been with my wife for 28 years last week. We got together in 1995, moved in together a year later, bought a house in 1998, and married in 2015 after the SC decision. We have also always been poly, but that is a personal choice and we have made it work. I have never ever moved from my primary commitment being my wife and she is the love of my life. We look like a lesbian couple but I have always identified as bi because 1) bi invisibility and 2) I had several long-…

That’s not what I was saying at all. You do you. I’m just tired of people characterizing others as sluts or used up based on myths and prejudices. It’s not a binary.

Also I’m an old Gen xer, raised Catholic, and recognizing that sex can truly be just fun, a momentary connection or a momentary increased connection between otherwise friends that doesn’t have to have horrible mental emotional and spiritual fallout as I was indoctrinated to think, actually was empowering. I had a really good time and I was also careful and safe. My worst experiences actually happened when I still had one foot in Catholic purity culture. Consider the possibility that people parti…

There is a difference between “hookup culture may not be entirely healthy and may have negative side effects for some people” and “people who participate in hookup culture are all damaged goods forever and also their genitals are now worn out and probably toxic”. One is recognizing potential harm and the other is being judgmental and harmfully critical based on exaggerated or nonexistent data.

It’s not just that it “doesn’t benefit women”, it actively encourages harm to them. The pseudoscience “everyone knows” women are like this (slutty, insecure, expiring in worth at 30 or 25 or 20, etc etc. ) I read the confident declarations of what women are like and am always WTF? Literally no one I know now, or knew in my teens and twenties, thinks or acts like this. It helps some insecure guys because it gives them a seemingly sturdy place to stand and “understand” the world but it’s all based…

$1500 would get prosecuted by any of the businesses I worked with as well. That's a felony all day long.

In my experience (I have been a fraud investigator) businesses very rarely prosecute for employee theft unless it's a LOT of money, even if it is provable (which is more difficult than you think). Most businesses just fire the employee and move on. There doesn't seem to be a male or female difference there. The amount stolen or lost in this case, even if all provable, would not be a felony in many states. Just not worth the hassle.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
