Research Paper claims: (1) Men tend to fall in love more readily than women; (2) women tend to fall out of love more readily than men. Seems to explain / describe hypergamy (and a few other dating phenomena). In that case, isn’t it disingenuous that you’re extrapolating your anecdotal experiences to justify your claims? Sorry that you live in a flyover area with a bad dating scene. The values, behaviour and diversity (in demographics) of women are obviously going to be different in bigger cities so it’s really up to you to make the decision to move in the future if dating opportunities really mean that much to you. (Not that you should right now given COVID). | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/12/20 03:05 AM
Why would a young, virgin woman want to marry a man over 30 who is not even religious?I’m no longer living in either country and I also initially thought this was exclusive to those of lower economic standing. I don’t typically mingle with many people of these backgrounds and much of the Asian women I’ve interacted with are of higher status. Obviously doesn’t occur with every professional woman I personally know but I’ve defintely met Malaysian/Singaporean (older) women that have projected this weird racially toxic mindset to me. My generation (Gen Z) is doing better about it but… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/12/20 12:11 PM
Why would a young, virgin woman want to marry a man over 30 who is not even religious?wtf what a claim. I’m Filipina. Grew up in Thailand. Take it as you will, stalk my reddit or whatever. You think I’m a white girl because I’m Asian with an opinion you don’t like lmao | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/12/20 06:03 AM
Why would a young, virgin woman want to marry a man over 30 who is not even religious?I’m an Asian woman myself, grew up in several countries in Southeast Asia. I’m jaded af because time and time again I meet other young Asian women fall into this weird white worshipping mentality. I honestly don’t mind genuine relationships out of love, but among girl talk it’s sickening how often I hear about “getting with a paler/whiter man so your children won’t suffer”. Now I’m not all about that r/hapas mentality of blaming Asian women for everything but I need to call out this bullshit tha… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/12/20 05:04 AM
Why would a young, virgin woman want to marry a man over 30 who is not even religious?Did some stalking investigating and it looks like he’s in Japan. He’s using his rockstar ‘Amerika-jin’ status on these oblivious young local women because he’s getting a divorce. Sexpat behaviour nonethless and not at all surprised he thinks he knows every woman lmao | /r/PurplePillDebate | 17/12/20 01:01 AM
Do you think women's breasts are way more sexualized than they should be?You initially brought up women being more fluid in sexuality which I don’t think is true at all. I also just asked my brother and guy friends, who basically said the same thing as I did. It’s definitely more down to the individual and cultural differences as opposed to inherent gender differences. Comfort in stripping down naked completely in front of others in a bath setting is also definitely attributed to cultural factors. Felt so uncomfortable the first time I was in an onsen with my Mom and… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/12/20 01:53 AM
Do you think women's breasts are way more sexualized than they should be?Lmao we’re just trying to get changed like everyone else. We can change near each other but not everyone faces each other especially if they’re not in the same circle- and it’s got nothing to do with us being sexually free or conservative. We all know everyone in the room has female bodies, bras, panties, whatever. It’s the most inappropriate place to be horny and ogling is definitely a no-no. None of it is inherently sexual for most straight women - obviously not speaking for the bi/lesbian pee… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/12/20 01:18 AM
Do you think women's breasts are way more sexualized than they should be?Tell that to my Japanese guy friends that are so casual about being naked in an onsen together. Or heck, even the Trash Taste podcast boys always talk about how they’re cool being “naked with the boys” in a public bath setting. I really think it’s a cultural thing because I rarely see this sense of physical comfort with the American-side of my family. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 08/12/20 12:10 AM
Do you think misandry is rising in our society? Do you think that a lot of the hate out there makes a great deal of men feel ashamed of their masculinity?Of course, I didn’t intend “for women” to mean “only women”, but these are issues that quite a number of women face. Not sure how many men face gender-based workplace discrimination, financial abuse, abuse due to traditional gender roles & expectations, fear of own safety after rejecting, fear of having their reputation ruined over leaked nudes/revenge porn. But it can happen to men, does it automatically dismiss these as women’s issues? Also, not going to get into men’s suicides or homicide rat… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/12/20 02:48 PM
Do you think misandry is rising in our society? Do you think that a lot of the hate out there makes a great deal of men feel ashamed of their masculinity? As another Gen-Zer, I think you’re being purposely ignorant on why these movements came to be in the first place. The person above listed actual valid fears/concerns for women (including myself) and I’ve grown up witnessing financial manipulation from my Dad towards my Mom. Of course not trying to dismiss Men’s modern problems, but it’s sad that you’re not willing to listen and chalked it up to a cheap period joke :/ | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/12/20 07:03 AM
CMV: TRP is a good idea that people can't take seriously because of the extremism(long post) Please correct me if I'm wrong - I was under the impression that feminists want to destroy gender roles because gender roles is what obstructs males and females from persuing what they want to do/liking what they want to enjoy. For example: a young girl wants to play with cars and toy weapons with other girls, but the other girls refuse to do so because they'd rather doll up their barbies. She moves next to the boys, but they tell her that she can't play with them because she is a gi… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 01/05/15 09:12 AM
