Yeah sure, but a lot of great girls could be passing you by with that attitude. I'm not telling you to change, but just because a girl is ready to have sex IMMEDIATELY this doesn't mean she's a better match. All good things comes to those who wait... Sometimes.

ಠ_ಠ Saying that men always pay for dates is sexist and not true. This might be a cultural thing that changes from country to country, but either way, it is still sexist. If dating without sex feels like a waste of time, and effort, then you're doing dating wrong. It's supposed to be fun, not hours of torture in order for you to reach the end goal that is sex. And if you feel like you're wasting time and effort, you really don't seem like you're having fun.

After the discussion this ignited, it seems like if I don't want to have sex within x number of dates I'm a prude, crazy, sex-hating woman that must be very lonely and giving a lot of shit tests. ... wat

This comment stinks of "arrogant douchebag". Good luck dating with that attitude.

I agree with you. I wouldn't be comfortable kissing a guy after the first date, I'd want to get to know him. Sure, I can think he's hot as fuck, but I wouldn't know his personality from one date.

Yeah, I noticed. But a subreddit for dating noobs that think it all comes down to sex? Yeah I can see where this mentality of "sex is not a biggie" comes from. I think, also because a lot of redditors are atheist, I can guess there's a mentality where anything =/= religious opinions is great. ... Not that I'm not atheist, but still! I still think sex is important, without religious influence. People don't understand how this works. But yeah, kisses and sex are signs of commitment. I'm not kissin…

I noticed this is a sore topic. The only reason I haven't stopped arguing already is because I kind of hope this will show people reading that it doesn't always need to come down to casual, potentially unsatisfying sex. That's an opinion though. But yes, since it's a seduction reddit I can get why it's all about sex. Some people don't need how to get girls, because they only want sex. People who actually form a relationship and then get sex usually don't need help. And yes, sex can be present in…

You can get similar effects as sex from working out, or hell, eating chocolate. I DON'T deny myself this satisfaction, I just feel like it should be carried out with someone whom you care about, and not some goddamn randomer you've happened to date. The society I live in is VERY sexified. I live in an 80% atheist country since like 40 years back. We've never been as imprisoned of religion considering sex as other countries have. I think differently from my society too, people around me sleep wit…

Why would I need to see a therapist? I have a good sex life, I'm happy and I haven't stabbed anyone. I just have a different opinion than you. Are you saying that just because I think differently, there's something wrong with me? I'd say that's pretty narrow-minded. I get that you have a more shallow relationship with sex, or with the women you engage with. I don't tell you to see a therapist for that. Get a grip. Yes, the relationship can develop a sexual attraction. Within TIME. I'm not disagr…

I'm not religious, I just have priorities. And,uh, it COULD spawn another human being. And you're saying it doesn't? Do you believe in the stork?

If that's the case then you're bad at communicating, or bad with physical contact that ISN'T sex.

You have definitely been brainwashed by media it seems. Sex is an important part of a relationship, yes. It's not something you do with someone you've just dated. You DON'T need sex to survive. Stop making shit up.

If you date someone a bunch, and like their personality, start discussing sex. Find out where they stand, how they like sex, if they like sex. This is way more comfortable for both you and the person rather than just trying to get them in bed to see where you stand.

This is where communication comes in handy.

Oh. I don't know. Maybe because it's the ultimate sign of affection/love, that could potentially spawn another human being. A huge sign of trust and love, that could create a new life. Seems like pretty important shit to me. I don't understand why it WOULDN'T be a big deal? Has society really dragged down sex to the level where it's completely OK to just have sex with anyone you want?

This is completely rediculous. I consider sex important too, but I don't rush into sex with someone I barely know. A few dates isn't enough to get to know someone, and ... deargodno it's just not enough to have sex with someone. FYI, I've had a lot of great sex. All without rushing into awkwardness of feeling rushed into something / Having to think "Oh.. wich date am I in? OH GOD I NEED TO HAVE SEX WITH HIM NOW. Also, just.. Talking about sex works. You can get to know if someone likes sex or no…

Wait. Wait. Wait. You actually judge the relationship based on at wich point you have sex? Oh god that's so shallow I don't even know wich hole to crawl into, so I can weep for mankind in peace.

... Are all of you sex addicts? I swear to god I will never get men. Don't you date someone for the, IDK, relationship? Nope, just sex. Sex everywhere. Also, we don't actually "dates" where I live. The whole thing was a joke. But I just got a depression view of male redditors... Wow.

I don't kiss on the 4th date. I give a blowjob at the 6th instead. YOUR LOSS, BRO
