My ancestors never owned slaves... We could very well be define as oppressed and subjugated by the British in the past. We moved on, and made something for ourselves without reparations. During the same time period as American slavery, the whole world was practicing it. Including black slave owners in Africa, Middle Eastern slave owners, Asian slave owners, Etc.
