I'm pretty sure that's the OP's point. He understands why companies charge men more for auto/life insurance and women more for health insurance ... he's arguing about the legislature passed that requires companies NOT to charge women more even though they cost more to insure (thereby most likely making men pay more for their insurance to make up the costs) when there's no legislature like that for men for auto/life insurance. I don't ever want to hear "Oppression of women is a myth!" again. Has anyone ever denied that? I think you're misreading it when people say that. They mean women of TODAY are not oppressed.
