Call your credit card companies and work out a plan with them. Many have different options due to COVID19 this year, it's been a hard year financially for SO many people. Also consider debt consolidation.

Not nearly as often as some of you!! Lol. Ages 28 and 31, it's maybe once a week during normal times. But with all the stress we've been going through it's dipped a good bit. We're either too busy, too tired, or too stressed/anxious. My husband is more stressed than me, I'd be happy to try to fit it in at least once a week. We've also been together for 10 years, married for 4.

I assume you have stopped stripping? I guess it doesn't say directly. I'd be interested in hearing more in the future on how the red pill affects you and your relationships.

I read "How to Improve Your Marriage Without Talking About It," and it really helped me. I read it a few years ago and something that has stuck with me was a portion that discussed many women treating their husbands worse than they would strangers. And that obviously doesn't work or even make sense because why would we treat someone we love worse than we would someone on the street? So first off - respect your husband as a person. It will get you far. Also - learn to pick your battles. Learn to …

Most often cheaters cheat because of some reason that lies with themselves. What I'm saying is it's unlikely your fault. If you did your best in your relationship, take satisfaction with that and carry on with your life and meet someone better. If you stay with him, or keep dwelling on this for a long time you're likely to grow into an unhappy person.

Was it your friend or friends friend that said you should get fillers? I also think tone is important here. Did she say it rudely or like she was encouraging you to do something you want to do? I think I would just ignore it and move on. If your friend continues talking to you rudely, then bring it up. If she doesn’t stop, cut your losses and move on. Life is short.

I'm trying to gather what exactly you mean when you say "the same" followed by "just different" ? Admittedly I just woke up not long ago. To continue, I've always known men and women are different and thus have different approaches to almost anything.

I'm delving into this sub out of curiosity. Apparently getting married and having children means you aren't feminist? They make it sound like to be a feminist you have to go against the grain on everything... definitely radical, definitely the types that make people against feminism. Oof.

I think it's important to find balance. If you're alone in the quiet all the time it's probably not going to feel comforting, but lonely. Go out with friends and family, come home and do some quiet activity for a few minutes at a time, you can gradually increase as you get more comfortable with the idea. Try journaling, reading, cooking, cleaning, without background noise. Try some light and peaceful music if you need to. I don't personally think it's a must to enjoy total silence, but if you ha…

It was difficult in the beginning, tbh it made me nauseous at some points. It's not a big deal that he's slept with other girls/women but that was all before me. I think for the most part you both are better off ignoring her attention seeking at these events. She will stop eventually when it's not working. As far as your reputation I think it depends, if most of them are 18-20 it could go either way. I think to anyone your age and older though it looks worse for you. Personally I cringed reading…

Neither of us have any sort of contact with this girl anymore. She continued to send messages to my now-husband and I sent her a message telling her off, similar to what you did except it was a conversation via facebook messenger. I look back on it and cringe, tbh. How often do you see this meetup group? Are you guys better friends with some than others? I didn't necessarily mean future friends, but others in this particular circle, and how important their views and opinions of you may be.

I'm not sure how old you are, but your response, as I'm sure you realize, is emotional and immature. I've been in a similar situation with my now-husband several years ago. We had a "break" and he slept with this girl who ended up at the same parties as us. I understand the jealousy and hurt you are feeling. You do not have to be friends with this girl, you don't have to hang out with her or pretend to be friends. Be polite and keep her at arms length, if she steps over boundaries because of her…

The book is definitely not a one size fits all. You take the concepts and apply it to your relationship where it works. If it doesn't work, don't use it. Take what you need and leave what you don't. If it would upset your husband to stop doing some of the things you're already doing, don't stop doing them!

I am 27, and a pediatric nurse. I always wanted kids, but I never really went goo goo gaga over babies or little kids. Even when I became a nurse I swore I wouldn't work in peds. And once I started in peds, I was basically like "yeah, babies are cute I guess, whatever." I have my own child now, and I think he's the cutest kid who has ever walked the earth. Other kids and babies are cute, but mine is the cutest. Basically, I think you're fine to not like babies and little kids at your age. I cert…

Yes, I think you should apologize, and then work hard to do better. I am currently reading The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands by Dr Laura Schlessinger. One thing (of many) that has really stood out to me is that many women tend to treat their SOs/husbands worse than they would strangers. Obviously this is not acceptable behavior. I'm glad you are figuring things out.

Why should a woman add value to a man's life? Any woman can take up space and be available to be "spoiled," if you don't want to be replaceable, then you have to be a valuable person. If you love and respect someone, you should want to make their lives easier and better.

A few years back it was not possible to cancel online, you had to call. And it was a real pain in the butt, because the wait times were long, and then they kept trying to convince me not to cancel. I had to almost get rude to get them to cancel it for me. Also they were not at all upfront about recurring cost and how to skip months. But like I said this was several years ago, I think when they just started out. So I wonder if these other people had a similar experience years ago.

Often wedding bands and engagement rings are fused following the wedding (or shortly before), some choose only wear a wedding band though.

Besides abuse, serial cheating, and addiction, yes. It would take something major for me to leave my husband. Bad financial decisions (spending all our savings, making major decisions without me - buying cars, a house, moving states or countries, etc). Illegal activities - breaking and entering, robbery, selling drugs, etc. As far as if there are cases where a woman can't turn things around, and if some relationships/marriages are irrevocably broken, I think yes. I think there is such a thing as…

I am an angry crier. If my husband and I are arguing and I cry, it's because I'm mad or he said something very hurtful. If my husband gets angry I typically try to give him space after I've said what I need to say, I will apologize if applicable. And while I may cry, I have never, and will never, cry on purpose to "make him more receptive to my opinion." That is manipulation. I use my words to get my point across.

Live and learn. I think you should discuss boundaries now if you don't want this to happen again going forward. Definitely an in person, not-horny type of conversation. Good luck to you :)

So, I think I'm either confused or missed something. He just started having sex with you?? What were you doing during this time, pretending to be asleep, or did you roll over and make eye contact with him, etc. ?? I don't think you said how long you have been seeing this guy, but you seem a bit hung up on trying to be submissive. Submissive doesn't mean you never say no or do whatever he wants to do. You also don't just submit to some guy before becoming exclusive partners, that is how you get t…

I have a 9 month old. My husband was there the whole time and was at times more emotional than I was. I didn't have an epidural and was in the worst pain of my life (understatement). He was very involved and I didn't want him to leave my side. My midwife and labor nurse were awesome and encouraging, nothing but good things to say about how involved my husband was. He was so encouraging during pushing that the nurse said he would make a great doula lol. I told him in the months leading up to deli…

If it bothers you, tell him it bothers you. I don’t know your in laws of course, but if you don’t say that it bothers you, they might continue. I understand why it bothers you (I have an 8 month old son and barely gained 25 pounds during pregnancy). Telling your husband it bothers you doesn’t have to be a big deal. Just bring him the problem, tell him you need his support.

No, it's not "the end of the world" if you choose not to date it college. That said, I wouldn't rule out dating in college, either. It IS a good time to date because you are around many people around your age (typically). Once you graduate and are working in your field, you're more likely to be working with people with established lives, depending on your work place and career, of course. Just something to think about.

I am working on getting it all together, honestly. My son is almost 7 months old now, and it's been a major adjustment, and I'm still adjusting. I've been back to work since February now, I work full time as a nurse, although I have cut from 40 to 32 hours. My son has been my main focus, but I'm finally feeling comfortable enough with being a mother that I am starting to get back into my normal cleaning routine, starting to work out again, and dressing better. Tbh my marriage has suffered, but w…

I agree with you. And I also don't carry cash because I'm just constantly worried about losing it! My husband would definitely not be happy, or come to "love" managing the finances that's for sure. I give him a warning when were low on cash for the rest of the week and sometimes even that is enough for him to start losing sleep. Some people just aren't good with finances. I also agree with your last paragraph. I always tell my husband he is welcome to look at our account but always turns it down…

If it ain't broke don't fix it. It sounds like you have a good system. Finances are one of the top things couples fight about and divorce over, and you guys have monthly meetings about finances and order pizza!! I am currently reading the chapter you're talking about. I think it's good for some people, but it's not good for me and my husband personally. He is a spender, and as soon as he knows how much money we have he tries to find a way to spend it all. In order to not do this, he tells me he …

I’d be interested in more context before making a judgment on the OP of the original Facebook posts. The focus seems to be on the things her husband does, which is fine. Does she ask him to do those things, or get angry if they’re not done? Does he do them occasionally just because? My husband does a lot of nice, small things for me because I do for him too. I guess from the Facebook post it’s not clear to me how she actually contributes without making any assumptions. Also a lot of these types …

Your husband reminds me of my husband. He sounds very sweet, and would do anything for you. Not only did you doubt his abilities, but laughed at him. I completely understand why he's upset. And not only that, but he told you why he was upset and you told him he's being ridiculous and childish? That's a no go. Your reaction indicates disrespect, in my opinion. He thinks he is capable of building this table for you, it would be very satisfying for him to do this and provide what you want to make y…

I'll be honest since I've been pregnant (36 weeks currently), many days I get home and change from my scrubs to sweat pants. Currently pink fleece sweatpants with owls wearing scarves lol. Normally I'll wear a decently nice top with jeans after work or on weekends. I wear minimal make up on weekdays, but put more effort into it on weekends.

My husband hates his birthday. I am making him lasagna because he loves my lasagna. I'll also buy him some practical gifts, maybe something baby/new dad related as we're expecting our first baby in the next month. This is slightly vague just in case he sees this... his birthday is a week from tomorrow lol.

I do every once in a while. I certainly wouldn't object to doing it more. I like to take some short cuts cooking (especially recently being pregnany... the less time the better!), and have been buying frozen cooked and diced chicken. We didn't have any left, so husband offered to go to the store with me to find some, and they didn't have any either. I had already started the recipe at home not realizing this, and he ended up cooking and dicing chicken for the recipe while I did everything else. …

Ask your fiance what some of his favorite foods are. Look up some recipes and see if it sounds manageable to you. I'd stay away from complicated recipes with 30 ingredients that ask you to do things you haven't done, for a while at least. When I started cooking I just googled easy recipes - pinterest has some good ones too - including one-pot meals and simple casseroles. Cooking doesn't have to be fancy. Good advice. The spices thing... Definitely NOT just you lol. I have a TON, but as soon as I decide to throw something out I need to buy it again, so I don't. I go through every so often and check expiration dates, toss things if needed, and put them on my grocery list unless it's something really bizarre I only used once in 2 years.

My husband also likes to sleep in late on the weekends. He doesn't work night shift or swing shifts or anything, he just likes to sleep. If this situation happened with my husband and I, I would've just asked him, "do you still want to go to x restaurant or would you rather sleep? You also wanted me to make sure you get up at a decent time, and it is x time now. What should we do?" If he wanted to sleep another 30 minutes or an hour and then go, I would've had a snack and let him sleep. In the e…

Did you ever discuss the kissing incident? It sounds like you just wanted it to be under different circumstances, which is completely understandable. But did you tell him that? Otherwise it seems like it left off with rejection and uncertainty if you're interested in him. I do agree with the previous poster that he probably has his own hangups as well.

I do try for non-sexual intimacy as well. We still cuddle sometimes and we kiss during the day and hug. I'm not sure if this has actually decreased, or if it's the lack of sexual contact that makes it feel like it's not enough anymore. The unfortunate thing with that is that he's pretty much of the opinion that all sexual touching should lead to sex.

Lol. If a guy had a reputation for one night stands and sleeping with a lot of girls, he did not get far with me. I've never had a ONS, and the few guys I've been with I knew on a personal level and was emotionally invested in by the time sex happened, and obviously weren't using me for sex, so n-count in itself didn't really matter to me.

Based on your post and your husband's response I'm not sure either of you are ready for something like this. If you decide to try it, you have a lot of communicating ahead of you. Personally I would not ever have a threesome. I could not see my husband touching someone else, or even know that it is/was happening. I don't feel like I'm "missing out" on anything because he is enough for me.

I feel you. My husband over the past year or so has made more and more comments on my tone of voice. It's just how I talk, and how I've talked my whole life. I am very expressive. VDay is pretty low key for us usually. My husband got a new car in November (he's definitely a car guy who likes modifications). He's been talking about getting some expensive parts for his car ever since he got it. It's hard to get him these as a romantic gift since I know nothing about cars. But I did get to tell him to buy them (and insist on it) and that we could actually afford them without suffering financially (parts were over 2k). Not romantic, but he was practically over the moon. My husband and I have similar tastes. We come to an agreement on most things naturally. He really likes abstract art and his grandma is a wonderful painter so we have several of her paintings on our walls. We both also like natural, earthy tones and scents. I throw in sweet, fruity candles occasionally though, and I prefer wood to contemporary style, whereas my husband is opposite, but we have a mixture. Definitely not overly feminine or masculine.
