History is cyclical and every great empire falls when it places demands on but offers nothing to those most capable of building or destroying it. The decline can't be stopped, all you can do is secure yourself and your loved ones.

You've never called the cops on a domestic violence situation and had both parties turn on you for interfering and possibly doing it because you want the woman have you? Never help people out of situations they got themselves into willingly, they'll turn on you and bring you more chaos than you can imagine especially if it's helping a woman and you're a guy.

Are our lives really worth the same in practice though? When shit hits the fan I'm not getting evacuated unless there's still space left after all the women and children. If someone breaks into the house, no woman is stepping out to face danger and protect me but I'm expected to, it is normal for me to potentially die which is why I am more aware of risks and put more effort into mitigations cos in practice it's all on me and I'm on my own. Talk is cheap, reality gives a rude awakening.

The challenge here is your talking about what you want and appreciate. I'm supposed to think about what is good for you, whilst you think about what is good for you too, who thinks about what is good for me? Don't I matter too? Shouldn't you be talking about what you do for others not what you'd expect others to do for you? It's not a social contract if we don't all hold up our ends of it and some of us gave enough to realize other people will take and never give and won't even care if it ends y…

Female friends are often burdens because they have a sense of entitlement and do not reciprocate. I have lots of female friends, there's been only one over the years who truly reciprocates. Guy friends on the other hand, the vast majority do and they show appreciation because they don't feel entitled to your time, effort or money. Guys don't generally go out and put themselves into situations with the expectation that it's their friend's responsibility to fix their problems. If a guy gets too dr…

Honestly it comes across as you're projecting your limited view on who you can learn from and relate to onto the rest of us. Growing up, most of my friends were much older, at 18 my closest friend was in his late 50s. I now have friends who are much older and much younger than me and I learn different things from them and we enrich each other's experiences and broaden reach others perspectives. Friendship isn't about age or sex or income or any other demographic sticking point, is about whether …

I have a friend who is a male nurse. He makes over ten times what the female nurses he did nursing school with do. Why? Sexism? Nope, he put thought into which areas of nursing to specialize in and then took every available upskilling course and all the overtime he could get to quickly ramp up his relevant experience. He was working full time at a hospital and also working as nurse for a surgery. He worked twelve out more hours a day almost every day for years whilst his female counterparts did …

The left can't engage ideologically because there's no evidence to back their delusions so they have to shout and shame and stifle debate. They can only bully, shriek like children, silence ideas they don't like and can't argue against and accuse everyone is being impure and morally wrong for not agreeing with them, racist, sexist, phobic, they throw everything at the wall and see what sticks.

I'm a black man who gets called racist by white liberals who think they're magical saviours for all us 'natives' when I point out how the policies they support actually have terrible outcomes for black people. There are black Trump supporters and black republicans, are they self hating black racists because they don't think the way you think they should? Nobody is saying things but this is actually a question of self preservation and risk management. You were seen being rejected by her in a public space. She presumably consumed alcohol after rejecting you and now you get seen taking her home? There are very many ways that could be twisted into ruining your reputation or god forbid something happens to her after you dropped her off or she 'changes her mind' and hooks up with you, drunk after publicly rejecting you. That's prison calling. There is…

Question. Do you think all male behavior is socialized and our genetics and hormones have no impact? If they do, how do you separate inherent male behaviour and emergent male behavior from hormone response or inherent situational response from socialized behavior? For example, what does testosterone do to both men and women? How much more testosterone do men have than women? What are the predictable behavioral impacts of having that much more testosterone and to what extent are you pathologising…

Do you think social shaming a totally pointless or even inherently negative thing that somehow magically civilisations across the world all developed and by some coincidence all targeted at behaviors deemed distructive to the stability, survival and well-being of their communities? The global demographic collapse is one of the most significant and ignored things right now and I have a keen interest in understanding how it happened and where is heading, TRP / understanding western dating dynamics is a big part of that. I have an interest in anthropology, in evolutionary psychology, in behavioral psychology etc and few phenomena are as universal and as distinct as sex and dating. TRP is a great way to compare what is universal across dating cultures and what is distinct to t…

OP, please please please save this thread for yourself. It's going to make a very funny read in a few years when you've actually lived and experienced the things you opine so confidently and ignorantly about. This is like saying don't bother to read Marx, I've looked at the communism subreddit and it is the primary source of all that is Marxism. You decide what you want to use a toolbox for. It's existence does not compel you to use it in a specific way. For the 16 year old trying to get his first date, tools have a different use than for the 40 year old who is happy with his wife and wants to understand the dynamics well enough to not end up a statistic, using his tools to keep his side of the attraction and collaboration of their marriage alive.

Women rarely have idea how much work men out into what women perceive as things just happening. How much work and sacrifice did it take him to become the kind of man you would be attracted to? It's magical when you pick the finished product, you don't see the dedication, calculation, structure and diligence to become the finished product.

Expecting understanding from feminist women is a losing battle bruv. You will never be as human and your feelings will never be as important because you happen to have a penis. The clue is in the name and in the victim Olympics which they thought they'd won until trans women came and grabbed the title. The fact is, as a man, you will suffer and nobody will care. Feminism is a bunch of ideas about how society should be. It is not and has never been the basis of any lasting society. There is no evidence of a lasting feminist ancient civilization or any significant current civilisation anywhere in the world that was founded on feminism, prospered and grew. Very well put brother. Unfortunately the trouble with the empathy gap is most women and most men really don't have empathy for men. If men are assumed to always have power be responsible for everything and women are assumed to always be victims acted upon by men, you can see how so much of society would be totally incapable of being level headed and fair in any situation where the interests of women and men appear to be in conflict. Oscar Wilde once said the artist's only true goal is to be full…

Doesn't that depend on what people think of as wrong? Ultimately it becomes a normative and subjective question. Those that value the beauty of mystery will consider knowing enough to shatter their illusions as bad or wrong if they value the illusion above all. I think it was Wilde who said something about how to a doctor a beautiful woman is nothing but a collection of organs and potential diseases. Some ignorance about how things work may help solve people see them as beautiful and worthwhile.

Warhammer figures are modeled and painted by hand, they're not possessions merely accrued through purchase, they are individual works of art created by the player. I don't have any, I've never played Warhammer. But I do like the idea of people creating every single piece in their collection themselves. I like the idea of people focussing on delicate paintwork in a hyper saturated world and getting to slow down and get lost in something artistic. Urban western society seems to aesthetically dead,…

That's the point I was getting at. That people will ignore or even denigrate skill, diligence, artistic flair so long as it's not in a field that many women celebrate. It's basically reducing humanity's values and goals to whatever most women currently like. It's ridiculous. And I don't mean must women, I mean how many men are out here saying a thing only has value of it gets you laid, no artistic or philosophical growth, just the obsession with gaining the approval of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/23 02:24 AM

The question was about having to change it self improvement to get dates. That means every reply by a woman that said she self improved for herself doesn't fit that bill. Ever reply by a woman who changed how she sifted through her basket of suitors wasn't changing to get any/more dating options, she was just adjusting how she navigates her abundance. That's very different from the change yourself or you have no options whatsoever that many guys faced and investigating that difference was part o…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/23 01:20 AM

Thanks for noticing, I'd asked men and women to see the differences in how they're answer. Basically women's idea of changing themselves seems to boil down to being more pushy and 'assertive', or something basic and looks based. Hardly anyone had an actual problem attracting a potential mate, it was mostly about how to select better from a basket of options. There is very little self reflection or self questioning let alone someone feeling pushed to fundamentally change who they are so they fit …

The empathy gap never ceases to amaze. It's easier to think men who fail are defective and deserve it than it is question things systematically and maybe find out that social structures are broken and are leading to a situation where more and more ordinary, nothing wrong with them people are getting results you assumed only the dregs of society would. That way you don't have to understand them, care about them out worse question the structure and choices of people who aren't evil incels and ther…

Are all/most the 41% of first time marriages in the US that end up in divorce made up of one of delusion try hards by your definition? How do people ascertain competence so they can see if you're being reasonably confidently? You seem to think everyone out at least all women can detect all forms of competence upon just meeting you. If that were true bullshitters who end up being disappointments when their chicanery and fakery are exposed later on in a relationship wouldn't be a thing. All adults make bad decisions they later regret. That is the freedom and responsibility of adulthood. It seems a little strange that when men do dumb things they later regret, they tend to take responsibility and face the consequences and thus grow. Interesting insight about toxic femininity needing to be discussed alongside toxic masculinity. If I may ask, what would you consider toxic femininity to be. What makes it toxic? Is it possible that masculine and feminine co-evolved and are co-dependant, balancing each other out? Is it possible for an adult who is not under duress to have sex they do not want to? Thanks for the reply. This is something I've also observed in person and online. I'm always interesting in trying to understand now just how things are but also why things are. Do you think maybe it is a result of women's movements needing to present a singular image of women to try to justify why they get to claim they represent all of them? For example when you look at the sex negative and sex positive sides within modern feminism, they cannot co-exist and see each other as representing differ…

Thanks for the thought provoking reply. If I may be so bold as to add something. Most women cannot fight as well as most men. Additionally women tend to prefer men who 'make them feel protected', by being taller than then, ideally fitter than them. Thus if you two are attacked, it is not that if he doesn't fight, he will be questioned by society, it is he needs to fight and you, the weaker one does, both might die . Is it possible that since women tend to be more neurotic than men, as shown in lots of studies, that women are mor elikley to take every negative reaction personally. That would result in not just claims of sexism but in seeing everything as a personal affront based on their gender, sexual preference, race, nationality or anything else. And again, if a man doesn't make enough money for the family, the impact is felt pretty quickly when there is no food on the table and no money for rent, so that gender role is non negotiable. If a woman is too busy with work to give the care her children need, it will likely only be when they are messed up adults decades later that the impact is felt. Thanks for your candid response. I'm quite curious as to the challenges you face dating as black woman. (I'm assuming you're in the US?). You can encourage mindfulness, long term thinking and factoring the likelihood of changes in values when you get what thought you wanted. People can make the exact same choices but be better prepared for the potential negatives and be better able to live with them. When people don't consider the opportunity cost of decisions and think or are told they will sacrifice nothing and get everything they want, they're setting themselves up bad parenting or regret over not being a parent. I think it's curious that we can't even have a conversation about the possibility of women changing their minds about having children and how it may be best to consider possible future changes of heart in your decision making without it becoming a straw man about wanting women to lose their bodily autonomy and be forced to have kids. Randomly getting pregnant without a plan, a relationship that can offer a good home for the child or parents preparing physically and mentally for it and getting all the key tests is not ideal and should be discouraged. I also think if you have a kid you don't want, you and the kid suffer. If you don't have the kid you wanted, only you suffer and if it's a predictable result of your own actions or choices then you have no one to blame but yourself. That said, I still think people thinki…

The anger when we're supposed to be having a reasoned discussion about the virtues of contingency planning and understanding the likelihood of and preparing for a potential future change of heart to minimize negative consequences for women and the kids they may decide to have later in life is bizarre. Most guys who don't want kids and think they never will don't get a vasectomy and seal that fate. Most women who don't want kids and think they never will don't get sterilized and seal that fate, w…

I'm in total agreement, I think most people don't really think about if they really want kids, why they do, what's likely to change their minds and when it'll be more risky for the child and starts being a bit more selfish to gamble with the kid's well-being. Ideally people would be having their kids in their mid 20s to early 30s when they're both in the ideal physical shape, have years of peak fertility if they decide to have more kids and can grow with them. That kinda means being in a stable …

What two people do between themselves that doesn't impact others is their own business. The moment to your choice has externalities, it gets more complicated. I've been on the counseling distraught and in instances suicidal women whose success at other things and loving friends and siblings pale in comparison to the falling hole they feel would only be filled by the child they can no longer have because of their past lifestyle and choices. It's brutal, how do you console someone who can't live w…

Interesting you'd assume I don't have someone with a uterus that I have meaningful discussions about current wants vs potential future wants and how to balance them to minimize sub optimal outcomes and hedge our bets. Bigger than us as in creating a life, a person who you set on their course through life, a purpose outside the vanity of personal indulgence and an aspiration to some higher, lasting legacy that for most people is only achieved through having kids and trying to raise them well. There are other possible purposes bigger than yourself but for most people, having a child is it

Trouble is the 40 to 50 year old men if successful can still date and marry a 10 or 15 years younger woman and have a better shot at building a family with her and having their own child together. There's no competing with nature on that if the man values having a child together and considers it the ultimate goal of any marriage.

Men are not women and women are not men. There are key differences between us that we need to understand and navigate, bemoaning reality is pointless. Men are far more likely to be able to have a child later in life especially with a young, fit wife. So men can afford to have children much later in life, it's just biology. Lots of women have no interest in having children, until they're running out of time to have children and their hormones kick them in the face. If you only realize at 34 or 38…

The way bias works is almost anytime a man travels to another country and ends up having sex with a woman, it can be considered sex tourism. When a woman travels to another country, the definition of sex tourism is shrunk to something almost impossible for women to do. Kind of like how in my country no woman has ever raped a man because by definition rape can only be done to a woman by a man, never the other way around. From what I've heard, women especially ex prostitutes are also the most cruel and exploitative pimps, willing to push young women, girls and boys into the most depraved things. Women are people, some are great, some are okay, and some are deeply fucked up, same as with men. Failure to see this is a big weakness that makes exploitation easier to hide and lure kids into.

Slowly rebuilding the collection. It seems the infection has spread sadly, I'm seeing m…

You said it was annoying and I pointed out how the thing you think is annoying is basically inevitable unless you propose policing people's actions to suit your feelings as described. I did not question whether you feel annoyed, I pointed out your feelings of annoyance are ridiculous in the face of normal human mating practices. I have not taken offense, I am pointing out the solipsism on your part that is required to justify feeling annoyed. Maybe you think your annoyance exists in isolation fr…

Please the "fake science" comment comes with no attempt to cite alternative theories or disprove what you've said. Stunning and brave to fight ideas with lack of them... I think you may have a point, it likely is part of the explanation, especially with women who can't understand fully why it is wrong, just that it is some sort of cheating. Rather like many men's distaste for makeup when they keep hitting women who are wearing makeup.

And yet people go out, meet, mix and mingle. And they hook up with other people, not always the very first person they met, the night doesn't end because one person turned someone down. They don't leave the town and only date outside it because everybody knows they tried hitting on someone and it didn't work out. In real life, guys dust off and try again with someone else and pretty quickly learn to navigate the associated questions. That said I am in a very different environment that y'all and …

Ever wonder why in poor countries everyone prefers having a son or if they can only afford to send one child to school they send a son? It isn't patriarchy or backward thinking. They always say the same thing across the world, a son will look after his siblings and his parents when he gets a job and steady income, a daughter will generally not. Such a choice isn't sexist, it is pragmatic in a situation where education comes at a great cost and families cannot rely on welfare to look after them.

I don't think it is that simple though. I think it is pretty simple. Guys try to marry one of the women they are most attracted to and want to keep having sex with. They consider other qualities but that is one the most important attributes for them and they are less likely to compromise on attraction than on almost any other quality. Women consider many qualities for long term relationships and marriage. The longer term the relationship, the more they push attraction needs down and replace them with thins like wealth/earning potentia…

I'm amazed that you genuinely think this and aren't taking the piss. Men are less tolerant of physical discomfort? Hmm, lets think about what could uncomfortable.... Fighting in the jungles with hardly any food? Most soldiers are men. Working oil rigs, coal mines etc, men. Homelessness, mostly men. The list goes on. Perhaps most people get married for the same reason most people raised in a religion follow it. No deep, well thought out reason for it, just an intellectual laziness and a fear of having to figure out a meaning for your life. It is so much easier to think your life revolves around some kid or your marriage and not need to think any bigger than that, not have to question anything. MGTOW leads you into amateur evolutionary psychology, biology, sociology, questioning economic systems and political…

FYI the exact same nonsense justifications have been made for male and female circumcision. Perhaps you have only been exposed to a small subset of them because the press on FGM is sensationalist whilst the press focuses on justification when it is males being mutilated. There is also the very real empathy gap, a tendency to feel more empathy for females than for boys and especially men. Circumcision has been a tool to reduce male sexual pleasure and stop masturbation for centuries, especially i…

Can you imagine for a moment someone arguing that FGM doesn't really affect a girl's ability to enjoy sex. You would be screaming from the rooftops that it is not relevant how much it affects the ability to enjoy sex, it is the savage mutilation of a child. For all your claims of compassion, you decide to use your head to make up ridiculous justifications instead of using your heart to feel for children being cut up. Don't be so quick to judge Africa and fundamentalist countries. People forget that in traditionalist societies, men have power but only so they can use it to serve women and children. A LOT can be said on the subject, like how in Islam, you should hand over your entire salary to your wife as she runs the household... I don't think women can't love though. I think it is most men who cannot love. They take seriously what their opponents know is a game and so they always lose. In the game of love, whoever cares most loses and nobody cares as much as the guy who thinks his purpose in life is serving a childish woman and her children. My argument is not that evo psyh is wrong. Merely that we cannot rule out other causes for behaviour and we should take it with a pinch of salt. We cannot claim the level of confidence in it that so many do and use it as a matter of fact explanation when it is often only one of several factors affecting behaviour and we cant control for all the other factors. There is a limit to how right we can reasonably think it to be and yet it is bandied about as 100% fact very often.

Ever heard the saying "happy wife equals happy life" or some such variant? It seems to me that male adulthood is defined as being about servitude to a wife, children and a boss who can do what they want to you because you have mouths to feed and can't quit to follow your passion. Which of the 'masculine' characteristics is purely for your benefit? Masculinity as defined by all our societies is about serving them, not you.

Apologies for citing subreddits and online sources, much as they are echo chambers, they seem a more verifiable source than anecdotal experience. Also the size of the echo chambers says a lot. Perhaps I am wrong in perceiving TwoX/Tumblr/BP/the vast majority of OkCupid profiles belonging to people in major cities especially San Fran/Cali as a significant proportion of westerners. I pointed out I was talking about the left leaning west, the Macron, Bernie, Trudeau and Corbinite west. Maybe too mu…

Except guys don't owe it to women to ask them out and take any associated risks. You can try to shame them into it but lots of people are realizing it is a broken system that is leading to suboptimal results for both men and women. Insults are not a logical argument and your failure to present one says a lot. Instead, you appeal to some archaic white feathering of people who evaluate the risks of an action and question if it could be done safer and more efficiently for everyone as cowards. Appea…

Whilst I acknowledge the validity of your personal experiences and commend your exes for being bold (I wish more women would), I think on balance yours is an atypical experience and most women will not make the first move or worse still, some will 'play' at hinting interest then disinterest, then interest, to evaluate the guy or whatever. It is this majority of women that do not hit on men that I am referring to here. Body language doesn't have a clear codified structure, a glance can mean a lot…

There are tons of articles online about how it is harassment to approach a woman at work or a woman reading a book, or a woman sitting alone in a cafe etc. There are clearly lots of women who do think approaching them when they do not want to be approached is harassment but do not magically broadcast their willingness to be approached and so guys have to guess and thus harass. A lot of the writers of such fluff and a lot of the girls I know who take that approach do eventually cry about nobody a…

Except you only know her feelings after you take a risk. Unless she hits on you first, which is rare, you are taking a risk. You can mitigate the risk of course by circling the subject and hiding behind innuendo and flirtation that gives you plausible deniability. I imagine a big part of hookup culture is guys just backing away from bearing all the emotional risk of asking girls out. They just keep things vague and play along with whatever girls want at the time but never make clear declarations…

In a lot of companies, if you are dating, it is frowned upon, if you married it is celebrated, but for you to initiate is potentially career ending. How many sexual harassment stories involve the office Christmas party, an out of town assignment or after work drinks? Because it isn't on company time or on company premises doesn't make it any less wrong if a clumsy advance is turned down. And once that has happened, how much of future interaction is seen through the lens of the rejection? How muc…

I present 'the friendzone', aka, the harassment of being someone's friend first then trying to turn it into a relationship. There are whole subreddits about how you should never be friends with someone first and should express romantic interest up front because it is 'creepy' to think someone was 'pretending to be your friend just to get you into a relationships'. Whichever way you go about it, talking to strangers, meeting through work, being friends first, people have different perspectives on…

Yeah, in my experience it has always been the women around me who were low status, even if they were kinda attractive, they were never properly hot and they were always struggling to compete with other girls. The really gorgeous girls were always really nice and friendly, to girls, to guys, to everyone. If a guy they weren't into tried to hit on them, they would always be discrete and civil and most people in the room wouldn't even notice it happened. This one supermodel would always do a tequil…

But sending sexually explicit requests or inappropriate ones to online strangers and then getting butt hurt and retaliating when they decline is far different. Don't you think? I gave online examples because at least they're on anecdotal. All the approaching women stuff I have seen in purely anecdotal, but I spend the bulk of my time with women and I have seen first-hand countless situations where they have publicly shamed a guy for anything from greeting them to just approaching the table we wer…

Harassment should be a pattern of behaviour. If it were, then only those who continued to push someone who had clearly expressed no interest could possibly be accused ot harassment. That would perfectly reasonable. Unfortunately, things are a little more complicated. This post came as a result of a discussion wherein many women and even some blue pill guys are referring to a single, poorly phrased or badly thought out opening message as harassment. In a set of example where the men who sent mess…

In the UK, a third of all relationships start at work. But, many companies have workplace harassment regulations that basically make it illegal to ask each other out, some make it legal if it is mutual but like I argue above until there is a response, it is strictly speaking harassment as per many HR policies.

Thanks for your response. I see a lot of confusion over how people should interact and a lot of grey areas that lead to trouble for everyone involved. The subway groper and downblouse guy are clearly fucked up people and it should be easy to single them out as harassing you. But as you said, the ones who know were individually not harassing you feel harassing as part of an overall experience. Now comes the confusion, when a guy saying hi can feel like harassment, what does it mean when you say y…

Oppression olympics again. Appealing to my instinct to defend people and be against injustice isn't a rational argument against the point I made. Revenge porn is an entirely separate matter from this and I do not see what bringing it up bring to the discussion. Also maybe lets be grown ups and realize our actions have consequences. The person who leaks your nudes is an asshole but why are y'all so obsessed with taking nudes in the first place? Either stop taking them or accept they will eventual…

nah, there are some generally universal good conversation starters. this isn't it. it's not horrible or offensive, but it's like discussing marriage plans on the first date; it's way too forward, and a no-no. and whether i like it or not, the recipient did not so maybe the guy should try learning a thing or two. A lot of your arguments seem to stem from you knowing what all men and women should say and the only ways in which they should interact. People are diverse and want different things. And…

Lots of married women on dating sites explicitly looking for sex, sometimes very graphic in their description of what they want and sometimes seeking someone to join them and their husband. You can't speak for all women, there are some who like that therefore in that circle it is a winning strategy and guys messaging those women about being friends would be rejected, some even state clearly on their profile, no friends, no relationships. Many women's profiles explicitly state how many kids they …

In the context of someone who can physically overpower you, escalating the situation by humiliating and angering him publicly is unlikely to lead to anything by an escalation, maybe not a sexual one but physically violent one, why go there? Also, in the online examples, I have linked, the majority are not guys refusing to take no for an answer, in most, the guy being ridiculed sent one message, that is all. Someone being a dick about you not being into him is fair game, someone who has a lame op…

Apologies if the post wasn't clear but I was speaking about online and in-person situations, it's just that with in-person situations, one finds oneself having to rely on anecdotal evidence which as we all know can be tricky. Online exchanges are easier to find evidence of and at a large enough scale as to build a coherent idea of what behavioural patterns there are. You have a valid point about online communities sharing hilarious PMs (I loved bash.org) but I think there is a difference between…

I think to find fat women funny for insisting on dating fit guys is an exercise in humour, there is an impersonal irony there that is funny regardless of which fat/skinny people are involved. It is making fun of someone's hypocrisy. On the other hand, to ridicule someone for opening up to you and putting themselves out there is a little different. You are making fun of them having the human desire for affection that we all do, or for being what you think is awkward/lame/not funny, all of which a…

Revenge porn is far rarer than online ridicule and is perpetuated but a tiny proportion of the population. So because a small group of people engage in a deplorable act, and wholly unrelated act is less stupid? This isn't about oppression olympics, it is about a specific issue which should addressed with rational arguments and not appeals to 'woe are women'.

Except we keep avoiding dealing with the fact that nobody has defined harassment. Most women won't approach guys and expect them to approach them. Most women are not upfront about what they want and play coy/hard to get at least for a while when they are actually interested. This annoys me personally to no end and I do not take no as anything other than no, no matter how many times it leads to furious confrontations about me not being serious because I didn't keep chasing. You as a woman may not…

It may sound like I am splitting hairs here but I don't think laughing at a post where someone spells out ridiculous requirements (which is a funny thing in and of itself) is quite the same as laughing at someone for approaching you. One is seeing a humour in a situation where no vulnerability has been displayed, whilst the other is seeing humour in someone daring to find someone else attractive. Equivalence would have to be the 'hot' guys posting chats making fun of 'ugly' or whatever girls who…

It is a trick question because one has a clear definition and the other doesn't. There is no standard for what is clearly and universally harassing/inappropriate/annoying, it is a sliding scale along which lie many things that some would consider terrible and others would consider just the thing for them. Revenge porn is a clear concept and a nasty thing to be doing. Comparing something that exists as a messy spectrum that affects almost all attempts at a relationship with a clear and terrible t…

The issue isn't rejection though. I have rejected women politely, quietly, without making a fuss and without it being anyone else's business to know that they were into me and I wasn't into them. nobody should be denied the right to reject people they aren't into or even to be judged for it, that would be terrible. I am talking about public shaming, making a noisy fuss about turning someone down, sharing screenshots of the conversation online for everyone to laugh at. That is what shows lack of …

i don't think this theory hold up to scrutiny. If a man is dangerous, is publicly humiliating him really the safest thing to do? How is that safer than quietly telling him you are not interested and leaving or sitting with a group? Making a fuss about his having dared to approach you is far more likely to trigger a nasty response from someone who has just been hurt and humiliated in front of everyone than to make the 'creepy' guy back down. Also, by shaming him in front of the group, you have ru…

Point, which is why I am asking the BP chaps, as my understanding of their posiion is more akin to 'we are all lovely people who get along great and treat each wonderfully' as opposed to, we are different camps whose interests may conflict and thus must watch out for ourselves.

I see where you are coming from and I have always thought if women asked out more men, there would be greater understanding on both sides. Unfortunately, men can't know what it is like, " to swat away crude sexual come ons from complete strangers, or worse, dangerous offers of mindless worship, like they're mosquitos on a hot summer night", unless more women take the initiative and go after men. Men cannot make women do that, women have to face rejection multiple times, bear their hearts not kno…

Google OkCupid cringe or Tinder cringe or anything of the sort. You will get tons of private messages, shared publicly to ridicule the men who sent them. I am not saying these guys are Casanovas but it is human nature, everyone is at some point liked by people they aren't into, everyone has awkward, sometimes lame interactions, but i don't see guys sharing them for the world to laugh at women. For example, one such 'nasty' message being called cringe-worthy is him asking if she would want to ado…

Checking in from Africa here. MGTOW is a global necessity. The confusion I think comes from the thinking that everything was perfect before feminism and if you go to a place that hasn't been influenced by it that much, all will be well. All societies are built on the exploitation of men. You're not a civilization unless sacrifice themselves every day and the altar at which they do is their family. The difference in traditionalist society is the man is esteemed for his sacrifice but he is still a…

I think that's because of two things. The first is the variance between the many different types of women men are attracted to and the few types of women marketing says should be found attractive. Brothers are cheating on their skinny, model looking wives with big booty thots coz thats what they're really into but that look isn't something they wanna be seen with. There are chuby chasers acting like each time they hooked up with a fat chick it was a drunk mistake and making fun of fat girls but …

American men, enjoy.

There is no single ideal body shape or age for women. The top age specific porn searches are 'teen' followed by 'milf'. Have you seen the weight variance amongst female pornstars? PAWG and BBW rank higher than searches for skinny. Men are attracted to a wide range of body shapes, heights, weights, ages, complexions. Granted there is a median that most find some attraction to, but for every healthy shape and size (and some dangerously unhealthy ones) there is a man who digs that. So use what you …

You don't say anything wanting the nerdy guys, did you want them or did you want to be wanted by them? Did you ever take the initiative and ask out any of these nerdy guys? Or did you sit around waiting for them to ask you out? Rape fantasies are a curious thing. They by their nature cannot be lived out. If acted out with someone you find attractive and want to pretend to be raped by, it is still fantasy play, it isn;t a realization of the fantasy itself. And if you are actually to be raped, that is something completely different from the fantasy as in fantasy, the 'victim' has the real power, builds the fantasy they way they want to, unlike with an actual rape. I understand rape fantasies are very popular with women, …

I think a big part fo why the Soviets had such badass women was because they didn't coddle them. In WW2, facing Nazis who wanted to annihilate the Soviets, there was no room for special treatment so the best women did well. A big part of the problem now is women not even being asked to perform at the same level. Why struggle to match others when you can coast by on gender alone?

Really? I hardly know any guys with a rape fantasy but most of the women I know do. Heck, a look at Pornhub's stats on who views what shows it is mostly women looking for rape shit and they're into pretty rough stuff. I know 'modern', feminist chicks who into getting choked, spat on, called nasty shit and slapped around but dudes who need that shit to get off? Not so many. I have trouble with this who rape fantasy stuff. I get it in theory but it has no appeal for me and it thats what somebody needs to get off she better find somebody else. Rape fantasy play may be fun for the woman but as a guy, you are taking chances in the current legal system, I know a girl who got two of her exes jailed for rape after they tried break up her after their usual rough rapey sex.
