I'm working on so many things right now. The problem is going through with them, especially when some of them are really hard and would take a few years or month of hardcore study to complete.

I swear I've seen this woman before on the internet *ahem* Not a good sign at all...

Lol, it doesn't matter if you're a top earner. If you're a hotshot CEO who makes your company billions but only make 100k/yr you have a shit job and should change ASAP. It's all about the value you bring to your company.

Testosterone weakens your immune system. It's a fact.

There are two definitions of incels: The incel position: eg, women only desire Chad and The SJW position: you're spreading dangerous information (waking up cattle). Keep that in mind.

Ok bro, let me make this easy for you. Imagine you're a surgeon and all your friends make $5mil/yr and you're worth $5mil/yr but only make 100k.

C++ is an entirely different language. In the words of Scott Meyer its a federation of 4 languages.

Lol payscale isn't accurate at all. Look what it says about US: https://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Graduate_Software_Engineer/Salary And yet most decent ones are pulling in 500k / yr. Look at glassdoor. Plus, I said "top candidates" and not average.

Outsourcing software jobs is a meme. That hasn't been done for decades now. All jobs are AGILE and require you to be at the office at all times for SCRUM and other AGILE bullshit. Top companies will NEVER outsource because technical debt will destroy them. The standards are extremely high, and for good reason.

FAANG won't test you on that stuff lol its literally a Leetcode grind

Starting salary is 200-300k right now in Bay Area. Few years experience you're making 500k/yr total comp or you are being SEVERELY underpaid... (at FAANG).

If my post wasn't clear, I'm not out of college. I'm a senior engineer now. I'm simply saying everybody I went to college to many years ago is now making 300-500k/yr at top tech companies (except for all of the white males, and quite a ton of Asian dudes who were extremely high performers).

Not true at all. C won't help you learn an object oriented language or functional language. It wont help for web programming either. Only learn C if you want to be a hacker or embedded systems dev. (Don't bother, 99% of jobs are JavaScript nowadays anyway)

If your end goal is to get a job then... If you can, attend a bootcamp for some hot web technology. You could get a 80k~ job coming out if you play your cards right. Don't bother learning a language like C++ or python because that won't help you getting a job. If you just want to learn to code for "fun" or for mastery purposes, then learn C.

Not really, 99% of startups fail. What are the odds of getting into one which is actually successful?

At least they let them marry and have families. We can't even have that in 2020.

I know people in Australia starting at 100k out of school with bachelors. Graduate degrees? Easily 150k+. Where are you getting your numbers? Mind you these are top candidates, not crappy ones.

Not that easy like you say. Making money is as hard as it ever was. For every success story you see I can find you 1000+ failures.

Entry level is around 200-250k for the best engineers. H1B people from India can't cut it, you need to be a genius. I'm not entry level, I have about 5 years experience so I'm senior level. Total comp can be as high as $3 million dollars per year for software engineers at this senior levels at Google/Facebook/etc. Entry level Facebook engineer salary: (This is average, and doesn't count signing bonus which can easily push upwards of 300k) https://www.levels.fyi/salary/Facebook/SE/E3/ 900k for se…

She's matching with Chads who swipe on everybody and check matches latter. Then once they realize she's ugly, they ghost her. That is her problem.

Not true. Hunter/gatherers only worked 20 hours a week, studies find.

I'm pretty sure its $15,000-$25,000 nowadays. Not even 3 month of income anymore.

I think I would enjoy my own grind. I can work hard and have in the past (90+ hours of studying/labs/projects/etc during undergrad). The problem is more the grind isn't appreciated and you can't take sick days, work from home, or just take a day off when you really need it.

I'm currently living with my parents. But I have some savings because I've worked for over a year.

So many options. Do you have any kind of resources that are good for these kinds of things? I'm not really sure what to do.

I think a quote from "The Matrix" is in order here. I don't think I could say it better than Morpheus did: "The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of th…

Because our ideology is extremely threatening to their way of life. Nowadays, the majority of men in society (99%+) exist in a state of perpetual slavery. The real issue is that most of us don't even realize that we are apart of this slave class so we continue to give our lives and well-being to maintaining that very society which hates us and treats us as disposable objects. Alarmingly, most of these men think that they themselves are a privileged class and have it much better than those who op…

I have, but everything is extremely saturated nowadays so it's very hard to make money on your own. If I were born 20 years earlier I'd probably have several million dollars right now because it would have been the perfect time to start a business on the internet.
