-1	Work overtime for the future of your family, lose everything. I want to point out that game studios often pay significantly less for the same skills and experience compared to non-game work. It's also highly sought after work because people like to work on games. This could go either way. He could be stuck, unable to find better paying work because he couldn't just move or whatever. I've seen older guys work in game studios because there's an idea that older folks just can't keep up with their younger equivalents.
