This post went above so many peoples heads, lol. It’s not that these are unreasonable standards. In fact individually they’re all extremely reasonable. It’s that 99% of men are not desirable and tolerable enough to make even THESE demands and there seems to be a lot of lack of self awareness among a lot of people and the way they come across when they start finger snapping. We have men out here 45+ DEMANDING women be under 30. We have 240lb+ men out here DEMANDING women be under 150. We have men…

I think a lot of men don’t understand how much context matters for most of us too. When I was dating I’d basically never kiss or sleep with a dating app date on the first date. Or if they were a stranger I met at some party or bar. But someone I knew longer term who decided to shoot their shot? Yeah that’s happened a couple times. It was more about my predetermined comfort in the situation than it was how into them I was. Just some perspective.

Not the “no one will ever date a woman who’s older or feminist or a single mom” crowd turning around and saying “even women who are r-slur can get men!!!!” Jfc

Being content with casual means you’re not competing. Do people not realize that women who have casual sex partners are usually also having a rotation of some sort?

Lmfao. All the guys who say women should pick better guys get salty and bitter when women actually learn their lesson and start picking better guys and having higher standards. Just browse WAATGM for 5 minutes. They don’t actually want women to pick better guys. The only rule to them is women lose. That’s it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/23 03:02 PM

Exactly. Like I can say all day long I’d never date a guy outside of 2 years of my own age if I were ever single again, but let’s be real, if the PERFECT guy who was 5 years older or younger walked in and checked every other box I’m not genuinely about to tell him to get lost. That was kinda my point is that Reddit is full of people who don’t touch grass who probably don’t spend much time outside of their echo chambers and would change in the drop of a hat if the right person walked in the door.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/23 11:28 PM

I felt this way after browsing the manosphere the first few times too. I went years unwilling to commit to a relationship because I didn’t think any men could be trusted and didn’t wanna risk ending up with one of these dudes. Finally with a little bit of time I learned to vet men for these qualities and I also learned like 90% of the dudes on TRP are lying. 99% of them absolutely are willing to commit to single moms, high n count women, etc if they like them enough.

Most traditional men in particular don’t view women as depreciating assets and don’t value youth. The red pill is not a traditional ideology, it’s a male supremacy ideology. They’re having a hard time finding traditional women because traditional women are not willing to settle with men who aren’t traditional themselves and want one sided open relationships. I’m not traditional at all but I do know both traditional men and women are in demand just not by the people they want.

No. But I am married to one, have dated several of them before that, have several in my family, several in my friend group, several in my work place, several I encounter on a regular basis. Men who refuse to marry certainly exist, but it is not a phenomenon happening in massive droves and certainly not “most men”. I don’t even know that many men over 30 that are single at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/23 01:40 AM

The amount of men refusing to get married of their own volition is still a minority of men and of those men doing so specifically because of body count is a minority of those. The world is nuanced and not a play by play of a red pill podcast. Please touch grass.

Paying alimony literally costs less than fully supporting your spouse who stays home with the children within marriage. If they’re lucky they’ll receive half of that in a divorce settlement. So, paying less out of pocket than they were previously.

You didn’t but you addressed this post to men broadly. And a lot of them do ask us that and act openly hostile to us for having standards as you are pretending people do to men here. Have whatever preferences you want, we all have them and are entitled to have them. Nobody’s asking you to change them in the first place but you’re on here defending yourself like they are lol

You guys literally do whine and cry and ask women why they don’t like short guys or broke guys but go off my insecure king. If you want a woman with a low partner count, great! Good for you, I hope you find her. But don’t bitch and moan that it shrinks your dating pool by a large margin when this is a criteria you choose.

Ugly guys actually have way more audacity than hotter ones tbh. If you take advice from all these redpill incel types and settle for less than you deserve that guy will just look down on you for settling and his ego will go through the roof.

Are we pretending that guys out there actually accept ‘no’ for an answer for that but will go down on that same woman? Absolutely not lol they’ll just dump her. You made that double standard up yourself.

So, because men have decided they’ll just spitefully opt out of society as a reaction to women’s progress, instead of suggesting we push more positive cultural attitudes among men, we blame women instead? Yes I’m sure this is very helpful

You’ll need to account for how many of those virgins are so by choice. Not everyone is in a hurry and some people are religious. I feel like this is a non issue. If men wanted to be fucking that badly, they’d be putting in the work. Honestly I don’t feel like this is that much of an issue. I’m sure if the genders were reversed this would be seen as a good thing. If people wanna wait, let them. If they’re having a hard time and do wanna have sex, they need to re-strategize.

Oh, but I’m sure you believe it’s just fine for women to settle for men who have had sex before they came along, right? This isn’t Christian mingle my guy, most people care about whether their partner makes them happy, not if someone had casual sex 5-10 years prior to meeting them. Most people don’t even ask lol

Yeah, I think that’s pretty fair and normal to say. Most people find more happiness with someone who’s on the exact page and timeline as themselves. When one person gets fomo and wants to explore because they never have and the other wants to settle down it’s just a recipe for disaster. It’s hard to know you aren’t missing out without actually trying it yourself, no matter your gender. And this can work either way. Most people who marry young get divorced earlier and then “catch up” on all the w…

Exactly! It’s not one of those like “I’m using sex and leverage and MAKING him wait” things, it’s just about brewing up the chemistry and focusing on other things before jumping in bed. When I’ve dated I’ve waited to have sex because it always seemed like the guy understood boundaries and didn’t push for it within 1-2 dates. It wouldn’t even come up from him so I’d just wait til the times right and we’d do it when it felt natural and comfortable from both people to do so. Whereas a guy I’m havin…

Most actual average guys end up in relationships with women. Men here just think the bottom 10% are the average. Also someone not wanting to have sex with or date you isn’t equal to “not viewing them as people” 🙄 What an unhinged hyperbole. If YOU don’t view women you’re not attracted to as people, just say that, don’t deflect your short sightings on women.

This is my fiancé and I. I’m okay with it, especially since when we do have sex it’s the entire package and he’s never lazy about it and we don’t do “quickies”. Sometimes I wish it was a little more frequent but at least the sex we’re having is high quality every single time. That’s a fair trade off to me.

Oh trust me every post I see in this sub makes that crystal clear. I just think the odd pretzel knotting gymnastics they use to justify this make absolutely no sense when you actually think of them logically. “It’s bad when women have higher n counts than men because it’s easier for women to get sex because they have more options” is really not the dunk on women with high n counts and flex for men with high n counts that they think it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/22 01:17 AM
3

I’m also confused by this. I don’t see the relevance of it being easier to get and it making someone unattractive to obtain it. I get that retroactive jealousy is a thing to a degree so like wade with caution when talking about past encounters with partners but this obsession specifically with n-count is so bizarre and odd. I feel like if someone’s n-count is enough to turn you off to them, you just didn’t really like them that much and had it not been the n-count it would have been something el…

Exactly. Obviously I’m hyperbolizing on wanting 3 nights a week for dates since the OP went up to 5 times a week for sex and how many working adults have time for that? But one date a week is MORE than a reasonable request. And you don’t need 5 hours every single time to get an adequate romantic night out. Also, if you’re having sex 5 x a week and that’s totaling to only 25 minutes, she’s probably not getting hers, so that said, why would she want to if you won’t take an extra 10 minutes to get …

No, there is no large social pressure on men to keep their women faithful the way there is for women to keep THEIRS faithful. Especially in more old school conservative or religious circles. But there probably should be. At the end of the day, you can not MAKE someone be faithful to you, you can only select partners who actually fit the bill and keep up your end of the bargain. Why should only one person cave to the others needs? Emotional labor isn’t measured in minutes, especially in a LTR or …

Imagine if women started cheating on their partners in droves and then blamed not getting enough date nights like this guy is. “Fellas, it takes very little maintenance to keep us loyal. All we need is 3 date nights a week where you get the baby sitter and take us to dinner. Would you stay faithful to someone who gave you less than 3 out of 7 nights of your attention?” Seriously, men want more sex from their partners? Maybe start investing emotionally a little more in the relationship and make s…

My current partner? Yes absolutely, I’d do literally anything for him. And I feel pretty confident in assuming he’d do so for me. If I were with anyone else BUT him? No way. He’s the only person in so long I was willing to make any kind of sacrifices or life changes for. So if I wasn’t with someone I didn’t love very very exceptionally, I think I’d go tbh.

He added how infuriating it is when people say “nice is the bare minimum” and “nice isn’t a personality trait” as if those aren’t completely reasonable things for women to say and apply to their dating life. You have to be nice AND attractive. This is not a hard thing to grasp.

I was referencing the men mentioned in the OP who are in established relationships with women older than them. I was only making the point that we don’t live in a vacuum with strict criteria on value. Plenty of HVM have no qualms about settling down with women who are older or mothers or divorced, and this should be common sense. But then we have these posts like there where the OP goes shocked pikachu face and even gets somewhat resentful when they see it happening despite that everyone else wh…

Trust me as a woman in my 20s I know there are plenty of older men who fetishized young women. But that’s again, fetishizing and is a separate thing and idea from genuine attraction and the desire for an emotionally bonded romantic partner or even just general sexual attraction. Most people, as you can see in marriage data, settle with people closer to their age. As the OP pointed out, there are exceptions. But the idea that HVM will only ever settle for women who are under 30 is just bonkers an…

No, I don’t think it gives her innate value. I think for a lot of people being attractive is an obvious preference but plenty of very attractive people are just absolutely untouchable because of how rancid they are. Bonus points, sure, but not innate value. And no I don’t think all peoples looks diminish with time. I think a 10/10 woman in her 20s who stays fit and keeps up with herself will still be a 10/10 in her 40s as a general consensus, particularly to men her own age. There are obviously …

Well clearly not since a lot of the women dating the men on this list are 40+ or close. Again we don’t live in some vacuum where women at any particular age lose value as partners. High value people tend to stay high value and low value people who don’t work on themselves stay low value.

Nobody believes that teachers should be able to talk about sexual practices they enjoy with 3 year olds because there aren’t any doing that. No. Women tend to become better people with age because we have empathy and it’s very useful in shaping us into good partners, friends, parents, coworkers, etc. Because men don’t experience empathy the way women do their mistakes turn into defensiveness, bitter resentment, and they don’t learn from their interactions with others. They may clean up some of their behaviors or bad habits with time but men’s view of the world tends to stagnate with time and they almost NEVER treat women better as th…

I mean whatever you need to tell yourself lol. As a woman in her 20s I can just only say in my experience this is just not the case. Obviously men in their 40s are not as unappealing as men in their 70s but they are not attractive to the average woman in her 20s. There are exceptions to every rule but people 💫generally💫 speaking have the strongest attractions to people in their own age group regardless of what that age is. Income and assets are not as important as sexual attraction and there is not an abundance of young women who are sexually attracted to older men. Maybe the absolute most aggressive of gold diggers but there aren’t enough women willing to date older men to go around for them all. Even the richest of guys will not obtain a faithful woman if they aren’t attractive to her with decent personalities and the ability to respect them. There are DEFINITELY men out there that are only hookup material and not relationship material. The only times I’ve ever had casual sex as a woman has been with a man I specifically did NOT want a relationship with for reasons that were huge deal breakers. I did this intentionally so I could just get a release and send them on him way when we were finished without any entanglement. I definitely prefer relationship sex as it’s much better but when you’re in a long spell, you do what you can 🤷🏻‍♀️

All I’m doing here is debunking the idea that it’s BiOlOgIcAl for men to be turned off by promiscuous women. People have their individual preferences for shit and that’s fine and all but just say that, don’t make up some shitty pseudoscience that has no real roots to reality or neuropsychology to avoid feelings of insecurity.
