Even if all that's true, she went to her house, retrieved a gun and then came OUT of the house. If you're in fear of your life, you don't come OUT of your house to where your supposed assailant is. You shelter in place, with your gun and call police. Her actions sounds like someone that let their emotions get the better of them and was reacting with rage.

See what happens when you make judgements without knowing the context? You say stupid things. There is additional video, showing what was leading up to this. Officer was originally trying to arrest the second person (the fat lady), when first person (skinny punk) attacked the officer. So both deserved it.

No and clearly he didn't. Stop trying to make this into more than it was. The cop knew he didn't have the power to order the video taker to put down the camera. He even says that on video. He's simply frustrated with the woman and asks the video taker if perhaps he can remove a source of agitation for this woman to make his job easier. Actually there was a lot of interest in Ramis and Akroyd doing more with the story. The only thing holding it up was Bill Murray, who had zero interest in doing anything further with it, and none of the rest wanted to move forward without him.

Lots of reasons. It was a reboot that offered nothing new to either the story or the Ghostbusters "universe" The original wasn't great because of the plot or the special effects, it was great because you took three of arguably the greatest comedians, who were in their prime and also close friends, and turned them loose on film. The reboot had mostly b-list comedians with little chemistry. There was a "girl power!" sense to the movie for no reason other than "girl power!" The story was lackluster…
