Equal rights; equal lefts.

Sounds like both to me.

Yes let's empower rapists. We need to make it easier for victims of any gender to come forward and get the help and justice they deserve.
/r/MensRights30/08/16 09:43 PM
1

true. i didnt think about that aspect. regardless its horrible it happened to you and to countless men out there. every victim deserves to be believed, as far as the evidence goes.
/r/MensRights25/08/16 10:05 PM
4

imho, no victim should ever be afraid to come forward and name their abuser. and thats something we should be working towards. its not the victims fault they were raped. their should be no stigma in coming forward. i hate seeing the responses to male victims of rape. "oh he wanted it. hes so lucky." its no different than saying she shouldnt of been dressed like that.
/r/MensRights25/08/16 09:56 PM

the only one i disagree with is the outrage bear. its not that we shouldnt be outraged a woman is raped because women arent outraged men are raped. we should be outraged at all rapes, no matter the gender of the victim(s) or attacker(s). we should be a voice that is committed to ending rape, whether in institutions, bars, bedrooms, or wherever.

I get the idea that someone creepily staring at your body can feel very harassing. However this doesn't feel like it was said the right way.

Doest make it right for the teacher to fuck them. It's called professionalism and being an adult around children.
/r/MensRights17/06/16 02:07 PM

Regardless. I can admit I had teachers I wanted to fuck. But looking back I'm glad I didn't as it would've been totally wrong on their part.

thankfully things like the definition of abuse isnt left to the likes of me and you.

For high school and below it does at least in some states. I remember hearing about a case where a teacher and student were found out to have had sex. even though she was legal he still got in trouble for abusing his position of authority.
/r/MensRights17/06/16 03:24 AM

regardless still students. she still took advantage of their trust and abused them.

I don't choose the radio at work. One morning it's the group therapy type shit, someone calls in or emails a problem and they help solve it. The lady who called in was wondering if she should have to pay rent, at all, to her older boyfriend who owned his home and whatnot. She got offended when the lady host said basically, if not then you are prostituting yourself out. I loved it. My answer was as a person in this relationship why shouldn't you be able and willing to help with the bills? In pret…

I'm torn on this issue. A man shouldn't be able to tell a woman that is carrying his child she has to complete the pregnancy. However a man who doesn't want it or isn't ready to be a father shouldn't be trapped either. However what the answer is I cannot say. Until we have the social services or technology to deal with this problem I think the status quo is the best we can hope for.

Is that who you thought she was when you gave consent?
/r/MensRights21/01/16 03:32 PM

So if the woman I have sex with changes so much after, does that mean she raped me?
/r/MensRights21/01/16 01:14 PM

when taken to the exetreme these are abuse. but its not just men that do these things. women do it too. sometimes just as much as men.
/r/MensRights29/12/15 05:29 PM

Another situation where switching the genders shows how stupid this is. If a man said "I went down on her when she was blacked out...." everyone would rightly lose their minds.
/r/MensRights17/12/15 12:48 PM

im glad this man got to meet his daughter, but that doesnt mean that every man who donated sperm wants their identities revealed. the fact that any man the state believes might be the father has to donate a biological sample for dna testing is atrocious.

Shouldn't you be attending to your kids instead of bothering me and mine? Shouldn't you be at work, looks like yall need the income.
/r/MensRights20/11/15 04:39 PM
-2

no. im just saying that these things are possible. a girl couldve gotten "beat up" as beat up as you can in kindergarten, and this couldve been the response. and it would be fine if girls were afraid to try and play with the legos. but if it is self segregation by the students over who wants to play with the lego's and that happens to segregate by sex then thats life and we shouldnt choose for these kids. and this lady needs to go.
/r/MensRights18/11/15 07:26 PM
-6

if the boys were creating a threatening environment for the girls when they wanted to play with lego's then i could understand. but if the girls wee simply not interested then this is bullshit.
/r/MensRights18/11/15 06:58 PM

a better (?) definition of rape: any sexual act without the other persons consent. things like fingering someone or jacking them off would be a lesser charge then full blown penetration.
/r/MensRights11/11/15 11:03 PM
2

If it's an excuse for women, it's an excuse for men as well.
/r/MensRights10/11/15 06:37 PM
7

My problem with that sentiment is that you feel the need to beat up those you perceive as the problem. Instead of punching up you could be trying to build a bigger landing so that we all can be on the same level.
/r/MensRights10/11/15 05:58 PM

It's not right, but I don't have any sympathy for her.
/r/MensRights09/11/15 07:12 PM

I don't think it was written in the best way but I can see that as what op meant. I don't think it's necessarily so about the male female dynamics but about people being more accepting of homosexual and bisexuals lifestyles.
/r/MensRights09/11/15 07:11 PM

Yeah. Growing up in an area like you describe you realize it's never just one sided like everyone thinks. Doesn't make it right either.

As for the woman being immature (roll eyes), isn't that what pedophiles are? pedophiles are fucking immature assholes.
/r/MensRights05/10/15 04:49 PM
2

so if she is "immature for a twenty year old" and "the dad doesnt consider her like most 20 year olds." does that make the dad a rapist? if he had sex with someone who couldnt mentally handle it then id say yes. but the child needs to be protected as this sounds like rape " he said he had not as it was wrong,”

And the fact that less then 100,000 women are on ashleymadison while 35 million men are is just a microcosm of why policies like those exist. I'm not trying to defend them but it's something that exists for a reason. And that reason is to make money. If they didnt do this women wouldn't join and then no men would join and no money made.

umm, i know the k is different then us law, but why isnt she being charged with distributing a sexually explicit photo of a minor? obviously it was agianst his wishes as he sent it via a service that , mostly, doesnt allow for a picture to be saved and she circumvented that and shared it with others.

As a child of a father who was never there, too busy worrying about drugs and drink, I'm torn. I know my mother didn't always use the money she got for what it was intended, but at the same time we would've been so much worse off a couple of times if we didn't have that. At the same time as a full grown man, I'm scared that if I have a one night stand or a fling with someone I'll be paying them for 18+ years for a child I have no say in the matter after sex if it comes into the world. the people running this booth. and anyone who uses cis in general. i respect you to call you what you want and support your rights, and you want to label me.
/r/MensRights03/08/15 07:11 AM

dont label me "cis" i dont identify as that. i find it offensive you label me and wish to assault my person, which if you do i will defend myself.
/r/MensRights03/08/15 06:58 AM

ill teach my children, if i have any, never to assault women unless its to protect yourself or your life. if a group of women are attacking you and trying to knock you unconscious, protect yourself at all costs. actually ill teach them to protect themselves if anyone is trying to assault you. also on gender violence, dv is dv it doesnt matter if you have a d or a v.

I'm not a parent, but I don't feel the need to be friends with my friends kids on Facebook. But then again it does make it easier to keep track of your daughter.
/r/MensRights23/06/15 10:37 PM

im not saying anything about op's parenting, and i know how this will sound and im sorry op. but kids do get molested and do act out in seemingly odd ways, like touching classmates in inappropriate places. which is why the school automatically went to 11. its not right or fair ops child was probably just being a 7yo, and i can admit i was stupid enough to possibly do something like that at 7yo and not have a clue about anything. and it is unfair the treatment of boys vs girls in schools when it …

kicking or kneeing someone in the groin isnt sexual. while putting his hands between someone else's legs could be. i dont agree with automatically escalating it like that, but i can see why the little girl didnt have the cops called. she shouldve been suspended for longer. imho, your 100% right to be upset at that.

/r/MensRights23/06/15 08:39 AM

Some of the things he was saying especially in video games, I've heard much worse. People say all sorts of shit in games. But at the same time if someone is going to track you down "I love in the same state..." then it's a real threat that you have to take seriously. Now about the revenge porn part, if anyone posts naked pictures of me I'd be outraged. But if another Kardashian sex tape comes out I'm not sure how is feel about who leaked it.

I know more then I put on here. But I'm not the one passing judgement on other people I have no clue about. Trying to say people have no idea about there own life. I know my mother played her own role in that and many other relationships breaking down. I just hope your mother is proud of her shitstain offspring. We can debate the term deadbeat and what it means. I might be wrong on that. But don't try and pass judgement on my life and claim I have no idea what happened. Have you ever seen your m…

"no one knows, respectfully, if there mom was a slut......" Then what was that. I know who the fool is in this convo. There is no respectful way to say that. Now admit your an idiot. I can. I have repeatedly.
/r/MensRights18/06/15 04:14 AM

I know enough to know he had a major drinking problem. I'm not putting a bunch of shit out here. And keep talking shit about my mom. Saying respectfully doesn't make it not disrespectful. I suggest you get your head outta your ass before you mouth off to the wrong person. I also know my mother isn't the easiest to deal with. You know nothing about my story. Don't pass judgement on snippets you read on the internet.
/r/MensRights18/06/15 02:42 AM
3

And you have no idea my story. I could be making something up. Or I could be telling the truth. But hey if that deadbeat does want to contact me I'm sure he would've as I'm an adult now. It's his perogitive. I don't feel the need to search him out.
/r/MensRights18/06/15 12:49 AM

I get what your saying, but he would switch jobs to get out of paying child support, in times of medical emmergency with my sister or i, he didn't care. When I was 10yo, I started having gran maul seizures, he never called, sent a card, nothing. When I was 7, he moved outta state and never tried to contact us even when we did him. So while I get what your saying, I am the child of a true deadbeat dad.
/r/MensRights17/06/15 11:04 PM
11

There's plenty wrong with the modern child support system. take for example the guy in Detroit who is stuck paying for another man's kid because he was in jail and they served his former address. And the system places money above all else. Its aggravating, but as a child of a true deadbeat dad, I can see how it got that way.
/r/MensRights17/06/15 05:17 PM

Survive doesn't mean about to be murdered. It just means you got through an ordeal. Just because the perpetrator may not of intended to kill the victim, the victim can die of there own hand.

I'm all for more in depth sex education in schools, but this goes way beyond the bar for what's acceptable.
/r/MensRights06/06/15 09:45 PM
3

dont forget that men are always the ones vilified as pedophiles. there was the one guy who was at the park with his godson when an idiot decided he was "suspicious" just because the kid was there with a man, so she felt it was acceptable to approach a strange small child and ask if the man was his father. if he approached the ladies kids that she had and asked if they were hers, she wouldve called right away and he might be in jail.
/r/MensRights06/06/15 04:22 PM

But if 75% of the people in that part of the campus need a men's bathroom taking one away from there would be stupid. Taking one womens bathroom away in that part of campus makes sense. They still have the unisex bathroom if it's needed. He'll they can even cluster male teachers around that area to further not inconvience anyone.
/r/MensRights21/05/15 08:01 PM
13

why not look at where genders are more dominent on campus, in the more male dominated area, lose a female bathroom. in a female dominated area lose a male bathroom. bam 2 gender neutral bathrooms without inconveniencing the main people who use a given area.
/r/MensRights21/05/15 06:22 PM

if this changes her opinion of you, then thats on her. she can be immature about this. you cant make her change her feelings. regardless of what she does or how she feels about you, id go to counseling. theyll help you cope with this better then internet idiots can. and if possible id go to the police. at least make an incident report if you cant identify the person who did this to you. that way when they catch this dirtbag.

nope. women get the benefits most of the time. and i dont know if texas is a no fault state, but if it is her infidelity does not matter.

and in some states even if both were over 18 the fact the teacher is having sex with a student is punishable in court.
/r/MensRights29/04/15 03:34 PM
4

I'd say I'm egalitarian. To me, dv is dv it does not matter if you have a d or a v. Gender shouldn't be a reason why someone gets hired over someone else and they should get paid the same, some exceptions like a new hire shouldn't make the same as someone who's been there 10 years. A rapist teacher should spend a great deal of time in prison and be chemically castrated.
/r/MensRights28/04/15 10:05 PM

the guys still went to the house, brought other stuff for the night, and met who they thought was a child for sex. i didnt watch much, but that usually seemed to be what got them. not chatting with someone over the internet.

i believe you can waive your rights as a parent. but either way both of them consulting with an attorney who specalizes in family court in the area before this all went down wouldve saved a bunch of time, energy, and stress on the child.
/r/MensRights22/04/15 04:14 PM

While I may partially agree with you two about ages, in these cases it's about a person in power using that power to compel someone to have sex with them where they otherwise would not.

if it was stuff not really related to the job of infintry officer i could understand. but afaik, strength and endurance are 100% critical to the job of infantry officer. what would happen if one of these ladies had to carry a fallen comrade outta battle? whats gonna happen if someone carrying a crucial piece of equipment goes down and you need to take on more weight? im all for women on the front lines and all the way up through the chain of command, but they want these jobs knowing what the req…

mam, this is so fucked up. we dont need to reverse the gender just take that outta the consideration. "44YO babysitter rapes 2 Children, ages 6 and 9, sentenced to just 15 months." this is one of those stories where feminist could show us how much they care about equal rights and the plight of the victims, but just complain about the rape couture at UVA it makes you look like adults.

/r/MensRights16/04/15 06:44 AM

that is true, but i say at least be considerate about pregnant lady parking, disabled veteran parking, etc. its not about putting someone above you, but understanding that some people while not disabled are gonna have a hard time getting around and and giving them some accommodations is nice.

I mean, I could understand if it was you and a 10yo, or your kids mom when he/she's 10, being upset. But if you have a toddler it shouldn't matter your gender.

Sounds like rape to me. Just reverse the genders and both ladies in your class would've been screaming rape at the top of there lungs. "If Jack and Jill meet at a party and start making out, Jack takes off Jill's panties and sticks his penis is. All without Jill ever giving or denying concent but acting very uncomfortable and not really into it. Is this rape? We all know the answer.
/r/MensRights07/04/15 02:02 AM

Just from a pure observational standpoint, men seem to urinate quicker then women. And that means less lines and less waiting. Which means women can get back to class quicker.

this should be the goal of any gender rights activists. nobody should have to put up with abuse like that, and as a man, i shouldnt have to be afraid o trying to make her stop if she wont by me asking.

And that's not to mention some states have laws that say if your a teacher you can't have relations with former students, up till a certain amount of time after they graduate.

Well that might explain the downvotes. But then someone should tell the schools that. In this example in the story they were both plastered. They should've been punishe!d for that If that was the case. If your not adult enough to accept the responsibility of drunken antics then you shouldn't be drinking.

The easiest reason to understand why you shouldn't talk to the police: they can misremember in court, on the stand, and It's nothing. If you misremember something small its seen as reason to not believe anything you say.

the ability to destroy someone reputation with an unfounded accusation of rape from feminist shows that this is a lie.

i find my idea of what anarchism is, that people can live peacefully together without the need for any kind of government an ideal to strive for. but with todays world it seems totally a Utopian pipe dream. i dont have the answers nor do i claim to.

My grandfather was a teacher, retired in 94, and he always kept hos door open so that if any accusation was leveled he had some level of protection.

So if John and Mary went back to Mary's place, and on the way there John is making comments about how he wants to ride her doggy style, and then when they get there he changes his mind but doesn't say anything or do anything to show he's withdrawn concent. Mary proceeds to blow him down right when they get in the door and then she rides him cowgirl all night. If John had withdrawn concent at any time would that be rape? No, John has a penis therefore only the penetrator Can be charged with rape …

The only way I can see to justify that is they went back to his place. If it had been hers, she would've been in control. Of course that's not how this works. That not how any of this works.

You guys are assholes. If we lock up women for falsely accusing men of rape, first of all you cannot falsely accuse a man of rape all sexual thoughts are rape, second wholl raise the children. Since men are rapist and shouldn't be within a mile of a child, there'll be no,one to raise them.

I swear if you were to listen to just the audio it'd sound like some of them would be about to break out the robes and hats. But then when you see the video, its in the break room with multiraces joining in. As wrong as some of the jokes are, It's nice to be able to relax and say shit without having to worry all the Damn time.

If you take an average American male and average American female, and asked them if there was stuff they felt comfortable discussing in mixed company they'd both say no. Much less anyone who experienced trama. There are some things for men it's much easier to talk to men about, and women with women.

I thought we were talking about group counseling. Of course rape survivors should be in 1on1 counseling as well.

I think he's saying sometimes people are more comfortable discussing some things in closed groups of there own gender. Not that by having such groups it reinforces the stereotype that all men are rapist. In treatment mixed counseling would be wise, but also not forcing that and having separate spaces to be able to help work through the trama is smart as well.

That's called my job. This is a joke I heard there before "how do you make a 5yo city twice? Wipe up her blood with her favorite teddy bear." expressed openly in the workplace. Now I admit its not appropriate are typical of the jokes said there. Thankfully I don't work with the General public.

And in the off chance the do want to go out with you, if there friend says anything negative about you, it's true and you Just have to take the guilt. As a man, your feelings are worthless and shouldn't be spoken of. Her friends feelings are what matters.

I'm kinda mixed on this. As a child f a deadbeat dad who would switch jobs to get outta child support, that money would've helped. There should be a responsibility born there to the child, not the mother. And yes I know the mother is the one with the rights. As an adult male, as you said, if we don't agree to the pregnancy it should way less on us as the parent. If she can make a decision with or without my consent on the child growing in her, heri should be able to make a similar one and not be…

ptsd isnt having a bad day. ptsd is a very serious mental disease. to classify ptsd with a bad day shows serious a ignorance of mental disease that we as a society need to end. but then again we need to stop doing things like invading countries with a stable, but brutal dictator who had weapons of mass distriction that we supplied him in the 80's and early 90's with false pretenses. it makes troops come home with ptsd. and since we cant fund the va better to care for the troops because "taxes ar…

you do realize anyone touching you that you dont want is considered assault, right. now we really cant tackle the very thorny issue like dv just by sying men dont hit women. its also women dont hit men, both parties dont keep pushing the other and backing them in a corner so they feel trapped, saying things like "_______ is bigger so they couldve fended off the attack it mustnt be that serious." or ________ is bigger so they must be at fault." non of this is to say men or women are any more like…

i support most equality measures here in the us, but how about we have equal time for equal crime. if you want equal pay for equal work, i want eual pay for equal time. in tacoma wa, a female teacher here was just sentenced to six months for having sex with two male students (14 and 16). if your gf abuses you it should have the same repercussions as if you abuse your gf.

not complertely in context, i had a friend in family court trying to get custody and cs. the mother alleged the father was violent and using cocaine. the judge orders hair test, he passes, she fails. she goes to relapse prevention while keeping the kid, tests inconclusive twice and the judge still believes in "second chances." and before you say anything he had the best lawyer money could buy, himself.
