Sounds a lot like Patrice O' Neal's mindset imo. Good stuff.

Find a job with your city utilities if you live in a big one. Or look into other cities if you're willing to move... they could have use for engineers. Jobs like meter reading, substation operator, lineman, etc on the electric side of utilities also pay well where I'm at. See if you can get a foot in the door for any of those.

I recommend retinol... look for a high rated solution on amazon. That shit has seriously seriously helped my skin "look alive" in the last 6 months or so. Even after quitting smoking and drugs in general, before I used a retinol based oil/solution my skin never felt like it fully recovered. So has diet and gaining weight but retinol has replaced all acne specific washes and creams for me. Doing a much better job at it as well. Everyone is different though, just throwing in the 2 cents. Worked fo…

Agreed. Best friend growing up was Indian, turban and all (not anymore.) We're from Los Angeles. Dude has done pretty well in the last few years with white chicks and "westernized" light skinned hispanics one could easily mistake as white. Dude just fits into the culture well, is funny, and has confidence. Works for him.

OP it's not weird, you're new to the TRP philosophy. Keep focused on learning and improving yourself and it WILL fade away. Don't be too hard on yourself. You'll reach a point where you have bigger priorities. Learn from it though! (Edit: Can't stress that last part enough. No contact should be a given as well but it still bears repeating as it's necessary to begin the next steps in your development. If you are in contact then you should be pretty hard on yourself. Don't do it and gain closure b…

Although it's just better not to view it (your time is valuable) if you have an iphone and jailbreak it you can download Phantom Snapchat and it will give you the option to hide your story views. The more you know.

It's really tough and I know bro-knighting is kind of discouraged here, but when it's your actual brother I too believe at least "some kind of something" should be said. If only out of love. Age probably comes into play though. I introduced my younger brother to TRP earlier this month after things fell apart with his (in his mind) potential gf. I saw the warning signs he didn't see and waited until it was over with to help him out. Even then I was still nervous about introducing him: neither wan…

Keep to the don't talk about fight club principle and you'll be good. Interesting FR, but these things are to be expected. No point in offending the wrong person in the wrong environment.

Check out The Art of War. Listen to it on audiobook back to back... try to internalize that stuff. Not saying you have to make war with him, but it can help you understand your position and his position better if you pay attention. All the advice here so far is solid too.

That's such a sick (or in your case: standard) catch man. Gotta gain that eye for detail... cheers.

I guess you make good points but I wasn't really trolling despite it being my first post in the sub. I've been lurking for 2 months or so now and applying what I find important. While it's your choice to not show someone TRP, you'd think that if there was anyone you would show it to it would be family. Just imo. I do get what you're saying though, there is a strong level of negativity.

Dude he's your younger brother man! Link him to TRP! Yeah he may not accept it or even possibly view you as less for it but you're the older bro man... the older bro! Your responsibility imo. The only reason I haven't linked my younger bro to this page is because he's single and chillin right now. I have been getting him to lift and work on his future (RP stuff) without directly mentioning it but if I ever felt he needed the knowledge asap I would give it to him without thinking.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
