Good fathers are vital. That’s a lifelong constant mentor who teaches you how to be, how to speak, how to act, how to react emotionally. Your father is your “dating coach” from birth. How you’ve been raised then impacts the friends you hang around. These friends then impact you themselves. So if you have another friend who is also from a good family with a good dad, and so is much like you with a good temperament and way of speaking and interacting with people, then you guys will level up togeth…

At that scale it is entirely genetics, nothing to do with makeup. A 7 can never ever make themselves a 9 or a 10 under no exceptions.

Who we attract over a period of time gives us a good indication of our own attractiveness. If the women you’ve been with are all average in your opinion, then you likely are too and need to adjust your expectations accordingly.

If they are it’s by choice, not for a lack of options. When you’ve had relationships with busty women it’s eye opening/entertaining to see how much guys thirst after them wherever you go. You see their brains rewiring just dealing with their presence because it’s not everyday you see a beautiful busty woman. So because of this they will always have options but because of this they can also be very picky.

The last couple of years I’ve had a fair few times where I’ve seen female friends of mine posting happy families with their boyfriend/husband then I randomly see them within some months single on bumble after their breakup/divorce. What you see on social media doesn’t really give any real indication of what’s going on with a couple.

If you love someone the thought of cheating on them should make you sick. If it doesn’t then you’re not in love with them.

You haven’t provided an alternative so I really don’t see what the other option is? If a waiter hasn’t noticed you what else do you do other than be patient and wait to calmly get their attention? The other alternative is getting shitted off about it, what’s the third?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/23 08:56 PM

Patiently waiting for a waiter is feminine? And the alternative is what? Getting upset and hysterical about it is feminine, calmly waiting unbothered is not.

Yep this is it. However once you’ve had it happen to you you can recalibrate and actively manage it next time you’re deeply in lust. Dating is a learning process.

I can easily drop off for a week or 2 and it doesn’t have to be because I was dating someone else, it can just be cause I CBF or had stuff on at work or social commitments with friends and family. Having said that I wouldn’t be keen on a fancy dinner for a first date so I’d simply say yes to meeting but something more casual. What I should add to that though, if I was really keen on someone I probably wouldn’t drop off in the first place. So she’s probably not enamoured with you.

You’re not the target audience, but your advice is for the target audience. I think some people have a very one dimensional view of attraction, while yours is a lot more nuanced a from a woman while so many guys get advice from just guys. Or put it on the dating subreddit, might be a slightly more mature audience there.

Have you seen him just be though? Have you had a personal conversation with him? Those women have and they liked it, your armchair analysis doesn’t match. If it was right then loads of famous average joes would be dating these women, but they’re not.

You should turn this into it’s own advice thread for this sub. I liked the point where you value a man for having platonic female friends, unlike so many of the jealous psychos on Reddit who say a man having female friends is a bad thing.

It’s charisma combined with being tall, fame just gets him on their level to be able to use those previous two things but is not the reason alone.

Some of the girls I swipe left on would be considered very attractive by other guys and by women who don’t necessarily understand what a guy finds attractive. A really tall slim model like woman who many women would envy just wouldn’t do it for me at all. I’d prefer a short kinda chubby girl. I’m a “boob guy” so if a woman has a nice butt that means basically nothing to me, even if it does to the majority of guys, a flat ass just wouldn’t be much of a turnoff for me. Totally fine for people to h…

This is essentially big dick energy. Anyone who needs training in seduction or overanalyses dating as so many on this sub do just don’t have BDE. They lack charisma, confidence and the ability to be kind without being a simp.

36-40% is where it starts looking unhealthy there. I love thicker women and a bit of cushion so I’m definitely open to chubbier women if they’re overall fit and have good proportions.

Pushing her away is cringe man, treat her with respect or she’ll eventually dump your ass for the guy who will. Nothing wrong with banter, lots wrong with just being a tosser. If I saw my sister’s partner treat her like that, I’d tell him to get fucked and that’s the lens you should see it through.

“She was looking for validation and got it, routine.” So did you mean routine for this one woman you’ve never met, or routine for women generally? I might’ve misinterpreted your comments but as far as I can tell you made a general statement about women, not just the woman in the OP’s situation. Textbook assumption. And an incorrect one. Flirting is fun, there’s really not much more thought given to it than that from the average person. Everything else including how a woman reacts to your approac…

I agree with that but that’s a little different to your previous message. Let me deconstruct how it seems to me, and excuse the bluntness. Because women aren’t interested in you when you open your mouth you’ve come to the conclusion that they’re involved in some sort of superficial “validation” process with a preconceived thought to show interest but not move beyond that, leading you on essentially is the supposition. Or perhaps the common denominator is yourself, and not the women, and they’re …

The unawareness was in reference to saying don’t chase women, so they chase you. If everyone had your view the dating world would come to a standstill. There’s nothing wrong with making some effort to get a woman, and if it doesn’t work then I agree have your mentality of “who cares”. But giving advice of do nothing so they come chasing you (very unlikely) I think is not helpful.

Get over yourself. You’re criticising the guy for behaviour you’re saying women should display for you. You’re saying you act like a basic disinterested bitch to women to manipulate them to be into you cause you think your God’s gift to the world. I think the majority of young attractive women today are actually not that interested in like counts. You’re having your perception skewed by public facing Insta thots. There are plenty of attractive women with private profiles and sub 1000 followers. Some of the hottest women I’ve seen are just regular girls I’ve met and have on IG who don’t give a shit about having thousands of thirsty guys perving on them. So my point is I think the average attractive woman who doesn’t give a shit about this …

Given not a single gen z is in their 30s yet there’s absolutely no way to substantiate this. Nobody considers children seriously in their 20s except hardcore god botherers. It becomes something you consider more as you get older. Not saying that it isn’t a growing preference, but there’s no way you could confidently call it the majority consensus.

Casual sex with a friend with benefits who you genuinely get along with and find attractive can be great. It’s a level above just a random drunken hook up and for sure something that’s worth a try if you’re both comfortable with the situation.

So you engage in a bunch of performative niceties like paying other people’s bills and holding doors open, that doesn’t make you a “nice” person or one people want to be around. When I think of genuinely nice people it’s an energy they exude all the time, not in fleeting moments of chivalry and good manners.

I only go out to have fun, hooking up is never my intention and because of that I’ve never had a bad night out. If you go out with the mission to hook up then you’re setting yourself to have a bad night if you fail. We’re all stoic and in control and give out that advice here on Reddit until we meet that one woman who makes us needy and anxious and then we suddenly understand those stories on Reddit. You can even do your best to learn from the experience, tell yourself you won’t do it again... until, again, you meet that girl who makes you like that again. You just gotta hope they’re on the same wavelength of interest as you the next time.

You have to do it for yourself as well, that’s the key. I enjoy working out because it makes me feel better mentally from the endorphins it releases and I like to see the progress. It’s also benefited me with women but that wasn’t what drove me there in the first place.

You don’t have to be in shape with hobbies at 41? That’s what I might expect to hear from an 81-year-old. My old man is about to hit 70 and keeps in shape and busy with hobbies and it makes his life more social and therefore more awesome. It’s never too late to start though.

Go to a store like TopMan or Uniqlo and get some neat, inexpensive basic clothing items. You don’t need to spend lots of money to look good, you just have to pick things which look good on you while spending enough to get quality. By that I mean spending $300 on a t shirt is ridiculous, you are paying for a brand. Where I am in Australia, a good t shirt should set you back about $40-$80, that means in the USA the price would be even lower. And ask a female shop assistant to help, they always hav…

You’re not smiling with your eyes so it comes across as forced and inauthentic. Get your hair neatened up by a good hairdresser, not the cheapest, and you’ll already be leaps and bounds ahead. I’d recommend cutting it short and seeing if that improves your chances.

By in my own world I don’t mean not being in the moment. I mean just doing your own thing, not constantly considering the need to be eyeing people off in the street or the supermarket or wherever you are. That shows every action you’re making in even a mundane situation is overly considered. Nobody likes overly considered people, you can’t relax around them, everything is calculated and fake, from their words to their actions. They have a stench of - what’s the word - neediness. The guys who sla…

And to add even though I’m sure your definition of naturals encompassed this, their interactions come off as natural. It’s not “picking up”, it’s just talking which makes the other person at ease. This is helped by as you mentioned that they’ve already received positive signals from the girl. If a woman is on the defensive from the start then you’re going about things completely the wrong way.

That could equally be seen as unattractive though. Nothing wrong with showing your full interest by asking for their number and that way you completely remove the risk of them not contacting you and can take the initiative with a witty and charming message. This manipulation technique of giving her your number cause you’re supposedly drowning in pussy and don’t care if she contacts you or not so she becomes more interested relies on way too many presumptions and things out of your control having…

This is too literal, you’re literally pushing for an unwanted kiss, not attractive at all. It’s about conveying different parts of your personality and attraction to her, being a little mischievous, then being a little serious, letting her have some banter then you have some banter. It means giving a little and then taking a little, letting dynamics flow each way.

I would take the girl on the left and a girl next door look always. I think it’s an education thing. Poorly educated women have that horribly made up plastic look and poorly educated guys go for it. See it on Tinder fairly regularly and they’ve always got trash looking lifestyles and attitudes to go with it. Very rarely are they the doctor or the lawyer or the charity worker.

I think this raises an interesting question of what it is to be masculine. Does he have a deep voice? Does he have a large penis? Is he assertive in his convictions? These things could easily make him not “weak” just in a different sense and make him attractive in a different masculine way. For a woman to be physically stronger than her partner though I’d say is rare, most guys are just naturally bigger and stronger than their female partners so he’s either pretty physically weak or you are very…

Every good looking person has orbiters on social media, whether you know it or not or like it or not. When someone becomes single those orbiters will make their move. Did this with my most recent relationship. Saw her on an app then added her on IG and sent a message. She responded and we hit it off chatting and within a week or so we met up and ended up staying together for a short while before she went away. It was great. Your assessment is far more realistic. Plenty of beautiful intelligent women want privacy and don’t want thousands of followers. But of course the losers on this sub judge all women based off the highly visible ones on Insta. Dating apps have definitely affected dating positively and negatively. It’s made it easier for us all to meet people, correspondingly it’s made it harder to settle for people we’re only so-so on, the question is whether that’s good or bad. All of your comments here reek of inexperience and I’m sorry to say, immaturity. You are talking about men (you) hitting on women, so yes in this instance why should any blame lie with a woman because she rejected you? If you carry these sorts of attitudes through life you’re really going to struggle with women. So to repeat - better yourself, better your flirting, better your emotional intelligence and go for women you can realistically attract.

This sounds like you’ve had maybe one interaction like this and are now coming on here to make it sound like it’s something more common than it is. My most recent girlfriend has a high n count. She also called her sister and told her she just had the best sex of her life after the second time we fucked. You like me have the confidence to know that any woman even with a high number will still find you one of her best, if not her best, so who cares how many have come before you. I think the guys that care so much about a woman’s n count are less secure in that.

I was just trying to emphasise a very attractive woman to make the point that’s where you might find most male friends having underlying interest, but for the vast majority of average women many of their male friends wouldn’t be interested in sleeping with them because they’re just not attracted to them.

There are many women I don’t want to sleep with, most in fact. So most of my female friends I actually don’t want to fuck. And if I’m genuinely attracted to them then chances are I’ve tried to turn it into something more than a friendship. So I’m not saying I speak for all guys but just know we’re not all like that. And I’ll just add an obvious point but if a woman is objectively stunning in a way everyone both male and female usually agrees on, then yes chances are most of their guy friends hav…
