7	Why can't the patriarchy be discussed? I wouldn't listen to the commentor on this one, chief. We literally all have biases. The person is more important than that and their ability to discuss topics and be open minded should tell you a lot. I've had similar experiences in the past, where people seem to have been turned off from me due to my callous views. -1	Why can't the patriarchy be discussed? Patriarchy means a society lead or ruled by men. If you live somewhere with a male President or Prime Minister, you (by definition) live within a patriarchy. The idea that it could be a myth is disingenuous. Men dominate senior positions within finance, politics, sports, and most realms of life of import, across most cultures...
