I was in this exact same position 6 months ago. There are a heap of single discipline gyms in my area as well as a Krav gym and an mma gym. A huge motivation for me was seeing one of my best mates become immersed in bjj and getting to his blue belt within two years of taking it up and seeing how much of a positive it has been in his life overall. I will echo the earlier comment here about some krav gyms not being up to scratch, I sent the website of local one to me to a (military) friend who has…

Fucking aye bro. Saw this today and thought exactly the same thing you commented on. Although the trash talk has crept in a lot more, I still love the higher levels of stoicism shown by the general majority of mma fighters... When you get rejected, your body reacts as if the tribe rejected you and you are now in the woods alone. That is why you lose your appetite and desire to sleep, and also why you think you will be alone forever. So just know that those “feelings” you have are biologi…

Some what feeling similar to this recently after coming out of an LTR that I still regard as never happening in the first place if it wasnt for being opened to trp and rational male et al, however now find myself quite regretful at letting my consistent reading of these materials fall by the wayside once in the relationship. My biggest help in the post relationship/re-swallowing of the red pill of late came through a comment that is now lost in the pages of this sub reddit but it struck a chord …

Man, I can totally relate to this but you're just starting college! I was just starting my 30's when I came across this shit! I backpacked across the world in my 20's for a year as a beta and didnt get a single lay despite now seeing the copious amounts of wasted opportunities - be thankful you will never know that level of regret
