Women who aren't working aren't taken into account (I assume otherwise the entire statistic is meaningless), if the statistic is derived from lifetime earnings then I'm at a loss as to why that metric is used. Also, maternity leave is paid and happens what... twice in a womans lifetime on average? Which women are waiting until after having children to start careers? 1	Had this conversation regarding these proposed law changes for "rape porn" here in the UK - it's this stonewall attitude that really gets me... Oh, I couldn't really comprehend if the facebook image was a conversation or not (the white blocks make it look like single user comments) so I didn't really understand it at first. I actually don't understand what you're arguing against. I think the idea of banning 'rape pornography' being a stepping stone for censorship is both less credible and less likely than the idea of 'rape pornography' being a stepping stone for sexual taste to enter bizarre and horrible territory. 2	Shit like this pisses me off I don't think it's wrong. Either joke (yours or theirs) can be innapropriate, but I don't think either are emblematic of how people really feel. I don't think either of these sentiments have an influence over the behaviour or attitude of real people. I think it's a bit of an assumption to assume that people would be 'up in arms'. 5	Female Motorist blocks roads and claims she's being attacked - [1:46] Wow. I feel like I saw something I did not want to see here. This feels like gore in a weird sort of a way, her mind switched in a second with some bizarre, misplaced opportunism. This is detractive from the net legitimacy of genuine gender harrassment.
