Saying "it's not a deadly weapon" after it literally was just used for killing someone SUCCESSFULLY makes total sense.

And while I can appreciate this fair criticism, at the core of it - if feminism / men’s lib lived up to their values most here would call themselves men’s lib or feminist. So the issue isn’t philosophy, but it’s practice. Yeah, which is why I'm not necessarily hostile to feminism as a whole, and I wouldn't consider myself an anti feminist. I just think egalitarianism is way way better.

Isn't the whole point of LWMA that it's neither???

"that's nice for someone like you"

Neither a large amount of feminists nor people who criticise the idea of the patriarchy understand what patriarchy actually means

Unhinged 😭😭 You just criticised an anti porn person She likely disagrees with my beliefs, and I am anti-murder. If she dares criticise me she is pro murder.

Julie Bindel, the author is a longtime misandrist who has often advocated discrimination against men. She strongly advocated men accused of rape be denied a trial by jury, something some countries are now actually considering. 💀

Everyone is a potential rapist though, what's their point???

Yet another honey badger. This is not to say it's a bad thing, it's great and they're great people. It's just disappointing men aren't standing up for themselves.

Although I can say that schools regularly use double standards on boys, tell them women can't sexually assault, and teach them some pretty sexist things.

I go to school actually, and I can confirm this doesn't happen in the least bit.

It's cool, but I don't think it's on the level of "documentary". To do that I think you'd have to scrap the internet posts and just say "misconceptions about mens rights activism" or something, perhaps giving alternative evidence . Otherwise, great job, it works good as an internet post in itself or as a potential video
/r/MensRights07/12/24 08:42 PM

Should we really try to make the world better by threatening to rape women? Whoa holy out of context
/r/MensRights07/12/24 08:17 PM
12

From skimming the video, this guy looks like he's attacking actual incel ideology instead of even conservative MRM, let alone LWMA which is what you appear to agree with.

We don't live in a patriarchy, but we are living daily with the negative effects of it - a lot of it being held up by feminists.
/r/EverydayMisandry29/11/24 10:37 PM

Understandable.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/24 03:36 PM

Noticing there's a problem (i.e. toxic masculinity) is not sexist in itself. It's what you conclude form that. Also, a lot of the people who display toxic masculinity are doing what we're against.

Yes, I have read the whole post.

I'm going to disagree. When used right, we should use it. The reason toxic femininity is not used as much is because it's not about gender, it's about gender roles. Femininity is not going to be as toxic, even if it is. Of course, not all masculinity is bad, but toxic masculinity, whatever the gender of the person doing it, exists.

What do you define as a "ruse"? This way I can better address the argument at hand.
/r/EverydayMisandry13/11/24 09:11 PM
6

Well, firstly, what do you define as a Socratic debate?
/r/EverydayMisandry13/11/24 09:10 PM

Off topic but what is a Claritin pill?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/24 07:35 AM

We don't want them to not be able to choose that, just not through this ridiculous movement.

You're joking, right?
/r/EverydayMisandry12/11/24 07:17 AM

They feel this way, yet they don't understand that women have been dealing with systemic and sociocultural misogyny for most of human history. Except we do.

What the FUCK.
/r/MensRights10/11/24 02:14 PM

Look, as cringe as I find the movement, the actual part itself (i.e. refraining from certain things) is fine.

No because other men in skirts are way better 💯

But I think they're voting based on his policies, or out of dislike of the left. Which I don't agree with, but sure.

Fucking hell, the message he's saying isn't even necessarily pro-trump as well??? Like, I even think it's possibly anti-trump ("monster you created" gives me this impression). Massive misunderstanding on their part.
/r/EverydayMisandry08/11/24 03:36 PM

I'm a leftist, but fucking hell. There are definitely problems here.

I mean I supported the democrats (more than the republicans at least) and I definitely didn't agree with that.
/r/MensRights06/11/24 06:23 PM

I supported Kamala because of other reasons but I don't want to get into it here; sorry about that, you weren't misogynistic.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/24 09:28 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/24 11:49 PM

Well it's completely baseless. Yes, it's possible but what makes you assume that?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/24 11:47 PM

That's... an odd thing to assume...
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/24 10:41 PM

It depends on the boundaries you set in a relationship; whether you mind your partner watching it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/24 10:38 PM

Context matters. If it was in the same context then it would be exactly the same.

He got a life sentence? Is that his whole life, or the standard 25 years life sentence?
/r/MensRights14/10/24 05:25 PM

She was desperate, she had a reason to want her mother dead. Not that this isn't fucked up, not that the bf should be jailed for life, but her mother literally physiologically tortured her

That's a perfect comeback to this argument, thanks! Oh and btw, sorry for invading America, I'll try not to do it again.

Is it bad that I recognize both of those accounts? Yes.
/r/EverydayMisandry13/10/24 11:34 PM

Ay. I know those Tumblr accounts far, far too well.
/r/EverydayMisandry13/10/24 11:33 PM

Yeah, men should be able to opt out of parentship up to two or three weeks before abortions become illegal, so he has a choice but if he decides to absolve responsibility late then the woman can still choose whether to keep it or not, same goes for concealing a pregnancy.
/r/EverydayMisandry13/10/24 11:24 PM

Nah man I'd say I'm a progressive leftist and I support the MRM, as I think the most common misconception about it is that it can't be progressive.
/r/EverydayMisandry13/10/24 11:07 PM

I love how some feminists make fun of MGTOW like it isn't just a more likely version of man vs bear. Like sure girlypop if you want the bear using the chocolate poison analogy, like fair enough? But then don't get mad when straight men use it on you, or bisexuals choose to only date other men because of the exact same analogical reasoning.
/r/MensRights13/10/24 10:58 PM
2

Wait they do that for romantic rejection as well?
/r/MensRights13/10/24 10:55 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
