I am sorry you’re going through this. Get into therapy. Abuse really fucks things up in the head. You have every right to be angry.. It’s what you do now that matters

It is hard for a man to leave a abusive woman. I know. Like you, sex scares me. I want it, need it, but I can’t even talk with a woman. I don’t feel safe. It is getting better and therapy has helped. Just remember, no one can tell you what sex means to you. If you don’t want to, then you don’t. If a woman is interested in you, and you think you might want to try, just be honest with her. She’ll understand if she is worthy. And if she has issues with it(surprisingly a lot of women do have issues …

What a mess. Sorry you’re going through this. The depression and change of hormones that happens is a bitch to go through. It is possible that her system never returned to the pre baby body. She needs a full physical. Make sure everything is ok. As for you, you have to decide for yourself what you really want. Divorce is hell. You will lose time with your kid, money, house, Savings, etc….. But so is being unhappy. Get yourself in therapy. Start doing what makes you satisfied, while you figure ou…

My ex did the same thing. Most of our stuff was in my name cause she had judgements against her before we got married. She never paid 1 bill, spent her $$ on sancho, went and got a masters , and had no worries. But I was financially violent

This is a common tactic for women to use. They all of a sudden claim to be afraid. It’s a tool they use to leverage you

This 100% confirmed. Every gastric patient I have known left their husband inside of a year

I won’t tell you to walk away or stay. What I will say is get therapy. Don’t sleep with her. Get yourself straight. She doesn’t get to dictate anything to you about how you deal with this. If the divorce is already started, then let it move forward. She is the one that has to build trust

Support is a little slanted towards women. However, it’s that way cause men don’t avail themselves of the help. We tend to be afraid of asking for help Get yourself out there, get help. That’s how you heal

Like others have said she is bidding her time. Whatever it whoever she thought she was jumping to didn’t pan out. So plan b for her

The problem is that the next step isn’t clear. She does seem to have mental health issues. And you’re gonna burn out if nothing changes. The 1st question is whether or not you want to work things out

You’re a single dad . She isn’t giving to her own care. She isn’t gonna help you

Get a lawyer. See what they can do. You’ve been a house husband, and depending on a lot of factors could get alimony. At the very least you can negotiate a deal

Yep. Not cheating is the bare minimum.

While some women might be grieving the end of a marriage before they end the relationship, Toxic women do not. Abusers behave this way. And coaches who don’t call out the toxic behavior of abusive women are flying monkeys

Part of the ways cheating works , is that it’s like being addicted. You know that the other person is bad for you, but you keep chasing that dragon.

Before anything else, get into therapy. You are not thinking clearly. Cheating is abuse and violent. She has taken away your agency & and ability to decide a lot of things for yourself. Get the dba test. Otherwise the kid will become a tool of abuse and control.

Oh man. I can relate. My story is kinda like this. Mine had the sleeve surgery. I was against it cause I everyone I knew that had it, went crazy. Drinking, cheating, spending $ like it’s going out of style. All of a sudden I went from hero to villian overnight. She attempted suicide 2x. Cheated ( did some sa stuff) You handled everything right ETA My x is regretting things. She burned all of her bridges in our community. Is broke, and has to move in with one her Sanchos

My ex, behavior severely changed @45. She went completely off the rails. And I was the villain

My ex didn’t mourn anything. We were solid and then all of a sudden we were not. She immediately tried to paint me as some super abusive jerk. She even tried to get a RO against me based on suicide attempt where she claimed that she attempted because I had been holding her hostage. She was denied both times. She also overestimated how liked she was in the community. No one liked her . They were glad she was leaving

I can’t say you’re wrong. In general I find the mani sphere to be too far out there for me, they are spot on for a few issues Too many women treat marriage as an entitlement, not a partnership.

I told everyone I was faithful. I took care of her financially. Let her be a sahw. Put her through school. None of that matters. She cheated a lot. Tried to claim we had a contract that allowed her.

A lot of peer reviewed papers and research uphold this.

I was very attracted to my wife in the 1st part. But she had the fat surgery, and went crazy. The version of her that exists is not an attractive or healthy person. It’s really heartbreaking

One thing to keep in mind here, That men tend to have the worse of things the 1st couple of years. Then it flips. Over the long haul women do not thrive financially or emotionally. This is why it is often women who want to sue to get more $$.

You tell her. She has the right to know what her spouse is up to. The fall out if any won’t be your fault or problem. If the cheating hadn’t happened then this wouldn’t be an issue. Cheaters make a choice. They need to enjoy the fruit of their labor

A lot of people are not capable of accountability . She was likely unhappy during the marriage, blamed you, . You left, & she is still unhappy. Why? She got what she wanted. It has to be your fault

She presented a paper at a conference about prevention of sexual abuse. Idk if she was actively repressing it
/r/Divorce_Men16/09/24 04:11 PM

There was 1 event, that started a chain reaction of problems. She had a repressed memory of a sa pop to the surface

Snooping in her phone isn’t bad. You’re married. Her saying she was working with this guy to test you is some gaslighting. She has no business talking about boundaries

There wasn’t any real flag or things I thought was off. She had wild times in her 20s, but that’s what the 20s are for. During our marriage no flags really either, till she had a repressed memory of a rape pop & she cheated and attempted suicide. That was just the beginning.

That’s the worst part. I am very much in love with her. I don’t know if she loves me or not. But she’s been diagnosed with bipolar 2. Has been on a path of self destruction for 9 months

That’s something I don’t know if she’s aware of. I have saved every email/text/letter I have ever received from her. 15 years worth of. I did it originally cause I thought it was romantic

No merit. Up until 2 weeks ago we were still going on dates. I believe that she is looking for spousal support

This is why they would not get a 2nd date or sex.
