Fine, I'll keep it simple. These arguments come from your own content, upvoted and applauded in the comments. Please explain to me how they are not discriminatory against women for unscientific reasons, and then if you admit they are, how I am supposed to draw a different assumption than (if not that you are yourselves sexist) that you associate with and encourage sexist individuals? Women are viciously deceiving you to believe that you should just be a "nice guy" and really they're just hoardin…

No, jesus, that's not what sexism means, I've heard that so many times from you guys and saying that makes you sound delusional. Look up any public definition. You can't just redefine something and expect me to use your same terminology - you KNOW what I mean. Also, just because you have an acronym for NAWALT doesn't mean it's not a legitimate argument. Your message is EXTREMELY adulterated by misogyny, which is why you will never gain anything but extreme fringe acceptance and following. Your i…

Bye. Thank you for the lucid and fascinating, if frustrating, conversation.

That's a good point, BUT, nobody decries those posts, even the blatantly horrible ones. They get a handful of upvotes and maybe even a comment or two high fiving their position. I cannot ASSUME that you guys all hate or dislike those attitudes when I've seen nothing to the contrary. Downvote it. Post in there about how that kind of attitude is destructive - not only to the community but also to the members. Maybe if I saw even a little bit of that, instead of people denying it exists (you're the…

No, I get it. The "red pill" isn't that hard to swallow - the idea that women THINK they want something and really want another, that society's current dating paradigm is fucked for certain people and pure gold for others. Okay, yeah, that's not that surprising to me actually. But here's the thing - the women who say those things aren't protecting some secret club or adhering to some code that tells us to keep the "nice guys" licking our boots while the "bad boys" get all the girls. They are giv…

That's because YOU guys keep making the same statements over and over, so I respond in the same way. You can say it as many times as you want, but in no fucking stretch of the imagination is the content I've seen in your subreddit (NOT the dating/attraction/game stuff - I SERIOUSLY do not care if your goal is to sleep with women, that does not bother me) not sexist. It is. Sorry. I saw people wanting to take away women's right to vote. To treat them like children in word and action. To malign th…

This article is very very interesting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not "waking up" over here - I've known very many beta guys in my life time and have tried a lot of different ways to improve their lives beyond actually sleeping with them, and not the cliche ones. Giving them actual advice on how to improve their appearance/confidence/personality/approach, giving them what physical validation I felt was within the bounds of our friendship, being hands-off and stepping aside when they find a new lady…

Okay, so maybe I shouldn't have called it Redpill mentality - I know that's not the CORE of what you guys are trying to talk about. But like it or not, over and over again in the content and comments on this subreddit, things that are infuriatingly sexist (as in, discriminatory towards women since people try to say sexist is an innocent word here) are upvoted and applauded. Either reject that part of your culture, or stop saying that it's not a core part of it. This subreddit is NOT just about g…

I have no problem with game and trying to get laid and being confident/attractive, even though people keep trying to say that I do. Really! I don't. But I disagree with your second point. Even if it's the minority saying those things... why are they getting upvoted to the front page? Even if 90% of an article isn't insulting and belittling women as being childish, sub-human, etc, and 10% is... that writes the entire article off as being the ramblings of someone I don't want to listen to, and tha…

Wow, how did I miss that? Sorry, I guess I blanked on the second paragraph. But I disagree - both of the articles I linked are just as sexist if not moreso and were on the front page, still are actually. I would still really like you to read that article and let me know what you think.

That's interesting. How are the shit tests that women give different than the "how you'd fit in with our group" tests?

Yes, because I am literally scared - as in, frightened and anxious - that these belief systems exist on a big enough scale to have a whole community devoted to it. I already have to worry about being raped because I am not physically strong enough to stop someone who had their mind set on doing it, and there are men who feel they need to do such a thing due to whatever impulses they let control them. But now I have to worry about people who think that women who sleep around are sluts, but women …

Two generations? Should have closed the gap? Is that a joke? That's a tiny drop in the bucket of time... that's the same argument to say that races who have been slaves and totally subjugated for centuries should just magically rise up out of poverty and save themselves. Parents are STILL telling their daughters not to go to college because they're just going to get married. In many parts of the world women still can't vote, or leave the house without an escort... Give it a few more generations …

online dictionary says: sex·ism [sek-siz-uh m] noun 1. attitudes or behavior based on traditional stereotypes of sexual roles. 2. discrimination or devaluation based on a person's sex, as in restricted job opportunities; especially, such discrimination directed against women. I don't know what the word you're trying to use here is, but it's not sexism, at least not the sexism that's described in every definition I can find. Men and women are different, yes, I don't think anyone's trying to say o…

I can respect (heh) that mentality, but when I say respect, I don't mean the kind that you have when you really appreciate someone's worth as a stand-up person. I mean the kind of respect you give someone just because they're a human - respecting their right to life and happiness. If they're infringing on yours - sure, that's a problem. But just because someone is another gender than you is no reason to act like their rights and feelings absolutely do not matter. That's called sociopathy and I d…

Yet, I saw that argument yesterday on the front page. (http://www.returnofkings.com/2247/will-being-a-misogynist-help-you-get-laid) maybe that will help you understand my fear and frustration. It's not all the content here that angers or scares me, it's the parts that literally espouse opinions that would make my life worse. I think if you imagined for a minute you were a woman, and read the stuff on here - sure, some of it seems weird and creepy (at first) but underneath it makes sense. But som…

From your own front page: http://www.returnofkings.com/2247/will-being-a-misogynist-help-you-get-laid http://no-maam.blogspot.fr/2012/06/woman-most-responsible-teenager-in.html And in all other articles I read here, the language clearly speaks DOWN to women. Some of them are subtle, some quite obvious - but they talk about women completely without respect for their rights as a human and with some level of distaste or even insult. I like your argument otherwise, but really the things about trying…

"Capable" does not mean physical, in fact in today's world, physical prowess becomes less and less important. In the business and research world it is basically irrelevant. I do not want people judging my capability to do my business job based on my gender which is totally unrelated. I will not disagree that perhaps women are more emotional than rational. I DO disagree that this is somehow universally inferior. There are MANY settings, including in the business world, where being perceptive, emp…

Why are women only guilty of hypergamy? I see that everywhere around here. Does not everyone want relationships that can provide them with happiness? Some people think that happiness comes from looks, some money, some humor or hobby or connections, but aren't we friends/lovers each and all of us with people because of what they provide us? Men are not somehow elevated from this.

No, that is how it is... I live it... every day! Thanks for the empathy! How can you presume to know what it's like to be someone who has experienced a radically different life than you? You really can't, and trust me, it's not fucking roses and rainbows and power like you guys act like it is. I'm not just talking about sex here. I don't care if you want to get laid, I really don't, what I care about is lying and misleading women to get it and espousing the other things here that scare me, like …

Oh yes, quite obviously. My panties get soooo wet when I meet someone who wants to bring us back to the days when I wouldn't have been allowed to get an education, vote, or make my own decisions.

I don't see very much evidence here from most posters, maybe you are the exception. I haven't been around long enough to tell for sure. I like how people here like to attack me, saying that I'm attacking their character or whatever, and then do the same to me with even less evidence. Quite mature. I don't want the world to cave to my desires. I want to live in a world where I can be treated as someone with the same deserving of rights and respect as you.

It's not about wanting to have sex with them; I don't know how you can argue that there aren't many examples here of people insulting, misleading and demonizing women in a way that undermines your perception of them as thinking/feeling beings. I can find them if you want. THAT's what I don't like, that's what is destructive. It's the same thing that people do to racial minorities that you may or may not be able to agree is morally reprehensible. There are some aspects of PUA that are totally fin…

I'm not selectively singling you out. I'm looking at the articles I see on the front page of your subreddit, which admittedly I have just stumbled upon. Chief among them is someone who quotes articles and letters from the 1700-1800s to make his case. Also way to go posting a bunch of my shit out of context, not asking me the questions that I could have answered to deflate your argument and making base attacks on my character that people love to accuse other people of doing around here. I guess I…

Some of the ideas here aren't wrong or terrible, but some of them ARE wrong and terrible, and advocate for things like taking away women's voting rights and treating them as less-than-human. So you can't blame people for flipping their shit when you say something that is basically like, "No no, really, Neo-Nazis have great ideas about the economy and employment! Don't worry about all that racist shit, it's just the crazy fringe members." Except here, the crazy fringe members represent enough peo…

First, I'd like to point out that your attempt to respond to the arguments is a good display of the intelligence I've SOMETIMES seen in this subreddit (in comments, if not OP material) that differentiates itself from a place like mensrights which espouses some of the same ideas but with a lower level of maturity and lucidity. Now that that's out of the way. Let me echo something I said in another comment here. The reason I make these arguments is not because I'm trying to discredit or disprove y…

Pure curiosity here, since I have never examined my human interactions for "shit testing" - is this not something that guys do to other guys when they meet them? Have you watched for that? Is it not something that people do to other people in order to gauge their motivations/character? I don't see there being something wrong with trying to understand what someone wants from you when they engage with you, it's self-defense mechanism.

Okay, so in response to your second part - if that's correct, how do you justify advocating for the active manipulation of women for your own gains? The root of the objections listed by OP are not necessarily to discredit everything you are theorizing here. The root of the objections is that I believe - and others believe - this kind of active "gamification" and manipulation of people and relationships is very destructive, not only to your targets but to yourself. How can you expect to have real…

Read the first paragraph here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias And tell me that confirmation bias is not a bad thing when you're seeking the truth. It is ignoring and skewing evidence to the contrary in order to support your pre-defined beliefs. It is twisting and creating your own reality - the opposite of what you say you're trying to do. If you want to admit that the people here are living in a self-created world, then fine - but don't try to paint it as truth. Who is "dealing"…

I don't disagree with that statement, but I don't think that's at ALL what this subreddit is doing. This is not by any means a real collection of psychological learnings. Everywhere I look is rampant generalizations and total falsehoods about the "nature of women". Trying to paint all women or men in the same light is insane! Go read up on your neurology - human traits, impulses, tendencies and beliefs almost all operate on sliding scales that are influenced by genetics and upbringing. Saying th…

Wrong. You are assuming that women are using the same fucked-up mentality - trying to "game" people out of something for their own satisfaction - that you are. You got it right - they're not thinking about it. In reality, they are operating under cultural teachings that were passed onto them from the media and society. You are the ones strategizing - they are just trying to live their lives. Do they occasionally do things that are not very nice to other people? Of course, don't you? But that's n…

But I think that diversity also weighs in there. Management especially needs diversity because that's who is making the decisions. In that scenario - if we accept the studies as truth - then saying that someone is diverse (whether it's a woman in a male-dominated group or vice versa, or other kinds of diversity like age or race) is actually a valuable trait/asset that you can use to evaluate if they're the best for the job or not. It may make them more valuable even if they, for example, have le…

While I think this might be a little extreme and will have some negative consequences, try to understand that this is NOT just being politically correct. Having a mixture of men and women in the workplace (or ANY kind of diversity) improves decision making and discourages "group think". There are tons and tons of studies like this out there (I will link them if you want, but just google "diversity decision making"). Political correctness surely plays some role but the forceful promotion of minor…
