I just wish appropriation was replaced with the version that's actually bad. Cultural usurpation, maybe? There's got to be a better way to distinguish between something benign (cultural appropriation - just adopting and sharing another culture) and something malicious (cultural usurpation - saying another culture is mine now and others cannot use it). I know almost nothing about what makes beer "good." I've already admitted to that. And I usually drink Corona without lime. I didn't know that Budweiser makes Corona. But that doesn't preclude me from thinking that Bud Light sucks. It's not mutually exclusive. Edit: Corona is also more often available than something fancy and less popular. I don't even really drink beer that often, I'm more than happy with a basic rum and coke.

I don't think this is quite so bad. She slaps him because he's practically drooling over her and he's objectifying her. It turns out it's not unfounded, being that "she" actually is an object that he's anthropomorphizing into a beautiful model. Cars are, generally, considered "she's" if we were to gender-assign objects in English, so reversing the genders for the sake of judging fairness wouldn't make sense here. The other commercial is just unnecessary.
