I do not think it means what you think it means I want to reiterate that I was just explaining the joke, as it seemed like most of y'all thought it was a case of "Be nice to women to make up for inequality" but it was really an attempt at opening people's eyes to inequality by giving equal cupcakes for equal work. That said, I got nothin'. I was just looking for an estimate that took into account differences in profession, education differences, etc. and found the most conservative one on Wikipedia.
