Yeah i thought this was the whole point of the purple pill don't be an unemployed loser living with your parents and don't be Patrick Bateman from american psycho. Find some middle ground and you will be alright.

If your only concern is achieving your goal, sure. But there's something to be said about going to sleep with a clear conscience and having a partner who actually cares about you in your life. It's a lonely road and i know as one of those top 10% men who wasted my 20's chasing achievements.

Sure but just wanting something doesn't mean it's good for you. I want a zr1 c8 Corvette but I won't buy one because it's a bad financial decision and would possibly ruin my life.

I think the fear comes from being treated as a means to an end. Some women want a nice house, house work done, someone to help them with their car and don't care about the person giving them (or helping them with) those things. It's just like when men use women for sex without caring about them. No one wants to be treated as an object.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/26 03:23 AM

I think the common understanding is that most men could never be paid any amount of money for sex. It's simple supply and demand economics sex from a guy has flooded the market while it's more of a rare commodity from women for good reason.

I disagree, it's easy to be tolerant. Which yes everyone is entitled to, as in no one should overstep boundaries and try to change your own personal choices. But being nice? That's going above common courtesy to make another person more comfortable. Being nice to someone means you like them enough to care about their feelings more than your own and no one should be expected to like everyone.

The problem is too many people push their own objective choices as facts because they can't handle someone disagreeing with them. If you're happy being single with no kids and want to live a materialistic unfulfilling life cool. Stop calling all men/women trash to justify it.

If multiple women matchmakers are quitting their jobs maybe women and their contradictory impossible standards are the problem. They are willing to turn away from money and possibly change careers because it's so bad.

This is one of my biggest problems with dating modern American women. There are no social rules, roles, or understanding for men. Whatever that particular woman wants at that specific time is good, big dick energy, etc. What she doesn't like is toxic, an ick, or sassy. Depending on her mood it could be the same behavior even. We've gone too far left as a society in validating womens feelings. Women are human and can be wrong, selfish, mean, nasty, unstable just as much as they can be kind, sweet…

Sorry to hear that bro. You're proof that all women aren't upstanding citizens and men get fucked over by the opposite sex just as much as women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/25 04:07 AM

Sure that works with certain women and cultures. But there's a lot of "don't date a broke dude" rhetoric out there. The dating game is America is fucked and the rules are arbitrary. The only consistent one is rich/popular = good man and by definition most men can't reach that status.

I think this election was more about the left's only benefit being moral high ground. The whole "vote for us or you're racist, misogynistic, etc" doesn't work for people concerned about the economy. I voted left (because I'm 99% sure a Trump administration is going to be corrupt and based on loyalty not competency) but the debt ceiling, the economy, immigration, family values, and other concerns the right campaigned on are valid things to be concerned about.

I think the problem with all the men you named is that they chose women who didn't really want them and given the opportunity would trade up to a "better" man in a heartbeat. It's just that there aren't many more successful men so they got stuck. It's the equivalent of being stuck at a job you hate but pays you very well.

I think there will be women who are miserable when they are older and don't get as much attention as younger women. The only part where "redpillers" and "incels" fuck up is making that their personal business. If someone wants to fuck up their own life man or woman i say let them.

I agree mostly, but the unrealistic man side is more of "This girl will shut down every guy that even looks at her, praise everything i do for her cook, clean, take care of the kids, be a hot 40 year old milf with a nice ass and skinny waste, etc" People in general i think are less likely to compromise these days because social media, and dating apps show us partners that could possibly check every one of our boxes. Men just have more leverage long term so that's where we are picky and women hav…

I don't think men are on some moral high ground we are just less picky and more realistic in the short term. In the long term i think we tend to be more unrealistic and want the perfect girlfriend before we get married. It's just now in western dating hookup culture is more of a thing and long term commitment isn't necessarily the goal as much so the dating realm is much more skewed in womens favor.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 06:32 PM

When talking about marriage and commitment i think that's where the tables switch between the different sexes. Usually when a couple has been together for a long time and hasn't been married it's the man holding out. If a woman would have sex with a man multiple times over lets say 3 years she would probably marry him. For a man that's not inherently true.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 06:25 PM

Best way is to get out and interact with people in real life. I think both sides online have some truths but they are distorted versions of the real thing. If you're still in your 20's I'd highly recommend college and making friends there. Also don't be afraid to lean more on the men's views of things. You are a man so it's natural, just don't get mad at women for doing the same.

Maybe till you're about 25 after that i personally believe all your self confidence stems from your own actions. If you had a shitty upbringing thats cool i understand but that's what therapist are for and if your family didn't care about you as a kid they damn sure won't care with you being an adult. You gotta be a good parent to yourself after a certain point, if you didn't have one growing up.

And where has bitching on the internet gotten you? Getting over it means moving on with your life and focusing on the things you can control. If you don't like the double standard don't have it reflected in your actions but crying about it on the Internet only works for women and children. You sound like a borderline school shooter.

Yeah but i say perfection because there's a mindset online to not take anyone else's flaws and you deserve the best while saying people are perfect the way they are. There's a cognitive dissonance with those two ideas. Especially from women. I'm personally single because women I've dated seem to have a "i want more" mentality and as soon as i put my foot down on something then they switch up and act like they were doing me a favor because they have other options. So we break up, then months down…

Yeah for some i agree. That's mostly guys who spend all their time on Reddit echo chambers. Same with some women. And maybe if you've never had a gf by 30, yeah you're probably the problem. But the dating market these days isn't doing anyone any favors. The general consensus on both sides is pretty selfish and looking for perfection.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 05:29 PM

Okay you didn't say all sorry about that. But again that is unrelated for most people. I recommend you check out the study i linked. Relationships on the whole are down.

Did I say all in my response? No My point is being a bad person at best has no effect on dating and at worst is actually helpful. Race, age, social status, having a two parent household, etc all are better indicators. So saying a lot of single people are bad people is problematic emkay.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 04:35 PM

You're giving your opinion as fact. It's more complicated than that. For example I'm a black male and single (i have dated and I'm currently talking to some people). According to thisstudy 62% of black adults are unpartnerd (no spouse or cohabitation), so 62% of black people are bad people? So the statement "a lot of singletons are bad" is dismissive and inaccurate. Assholes do get married, look at how many wives Donald Trump has had, and there are tons of single mothers who had children with "b…

No the pedestal is the problem. It's been a saying for years for a reason. If you don't respect what you have to offer no one else will. "Winning her over" is apart of finding a long term partner. What do you think expensive dinners, weddings, wedding rings, trips, etc are? Also expectations are a way of avoiding problems by setting them at the appropriate time. Ideally they should be a given if two people are on the same page. But that's not going to happen 100% of the time. What are standards …

I think we're talking about two different scenarios. If a guy clearly states he is fine just being friends that's on him. But if a guy is nice to a girl he likes without "just friends" being directly stated, how is that manipulative? Why would you be mean to someone you like? And I'm not saying anyone is obligated to anything. But just like incels shouldn't judge all women who aren't virgins as branch swinging 403's, even though some are. Women shouldn't judge every nice guy as a manipulative fa…

Eh red pill like most things on the internet is an extreme version of reality. There's some truth to it (there's a reason why professional athletes have tons of women chasing them) but it's not the end all be all. Money, looks, and status all do help with dating but if you want to be genuinely happy i wouldn't recommend basing a relationship solely off of those. Context is also key which is hard to determine online. It's natural to lean towards being nice to someone you like doesn't mean it's fa…

Sex and affection reward you with dopamine too. Very large amounts in fact. "Throwing a shit fit" is very vague. You could say the same about a woman who is mad that a man doesn't want to be her friend anymore after taking her on a dozen friend dates and her not being interested in anything romantic. Also no one is jesus and nice to everyone. As long as they don't become violent or intentionally harass/insult someone, becoming frustrated that someone doesn't return your affection is a totally ap…

Sounds like either low self esteem or unrealistic expectations. Men for the most part have most of the power in long term commitments like dating while women have most of the power in short term hookups. So if you're dating a woman you don't like or aren't attracted to you're selling yourself very short and need to work on your self esteem or narcissism.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/22 03:55 PM

That's dumb we are literally hardwired for rewards. Dopamine is the driving force for all actions. Sure some guys are fake nice just for attention from women. But a large amount of "nice" guys had good mother's and are naturally nice to women because they (admittedly maybe unrealistically) expect the same dynamic they had with their mothers. Basically momma's boys. Now being a momma's boy isn't a good thing. Men have to grow out of that and lead themselves and those around them but just because …

There's some truth to this but remember a lot of those women are for the streets. If you're not as good looking or successful as a guy she's had sex with before she will think she can do better. Which i get but if these women are looking out for themselves first, we gotta do the same. Don't get hung up in hookup culture standards, they are low for women and high for men. Mainly because men's hookup standards are low, we want the easiest we can get while women want the best they can get. I sugges…

Disney movies aren't real and plenty of insecure people get married. That's a big part of why the divorce rate is so high, some people just get married to someone they don't like for the emotional or physical companionship.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/22 05:05 PM

Same to you. I think you might be a more active participant than a lot of women though. Most women I've been with either wait for me to do everything (trash at sex) or follow my lead (pretty standard). So with your example by being confident and taking the lead role i now make sure a woman feels comfortable to let go because all she has to worry about is enjoying herself. And sex with a long term partner is 100% better. You already know what each other likes.

Crazy enough i would though. I've been with a few women in my time and sex isn't as important as it's made out to be. I'd take having a traditional family over a playboy lifestyle any day. Divorce has been legal for hundreds of years. It's more socially acceptable now compared to the 1900's but whether that's a good or bad thing is a whole other conversation and arguably it's a worse outcome for women. " Lenore Weitzman's 1985 book The Divorce Revolution, using data from California in 1977-78, reported that one year after divorce, the standard of living for women declined 73%, compared with an increase of 42% for men. This is 100% fair. You're missing the obvious caveat. This is the exact thing men did for years no problem. Women wanted to be "sexually liberated" like men so the stock price of coochie plummeted making the effort not worth it. Why should i change my whole religion (the basis for my philosophy on life), sign away half of my assets, and take on the responsibility for protecting and providing for another person to get a 7 when 5's are throwing it back basically for free.

And how do you build that relationship? It can be small things "hey babe can you pass me the remote", "can you start my shower while i answer this call real quick", etc. That's how you build a non one sided relationship. There's a balance of give and take, and as a man you have to lead the direction of the relationship. That's why so many women end up with objectively bad guys. They may lead women to bad places but they lead non the less Your logic makes sense in theory but in practice people ar…

There's exceptions to the rule sure but you shouldn't base your expectations on exceptions. If a woman is having sex with a lot of different partners more often than not that's a key indicator of issues, which you agreed with. So the inverse must be true to an extent. That's what i said. Women (people in general really) with trauma are prone to engage in sexually risky behavior like high numbers of sex partners and sex work. I agree let people believe what they want. But women in the west are the freest women in the world. They just are upset because things aren't perfect and they have to make choices. Things aren't perfect for men either and me being a man I'm gonna focus on that. As long as women can vote, can work, and aren't being abused i don't care. Possible? Sure there's outliers to everything. But probable? Not likely. Unless you're faking it to get women. And that's a bold strategy you'd better be very good looking. Makes sense probably because it's true men and women are different. Plus it's been proven women like a man with back bone and will take that guy over a nice male feminist 9 time out of 10. I could see that. There does seem to be correlation between emotional guys having strong maternal bonds and expect the same attention from women. But the key factor is that he knew she wasn't his biological child and chose to raise her. He is an extraordinary man for that and it should be recognized. Normalizing what he did not only is unfair to men who don't want to raise a child that isn't theirs and they have no responsibility for but downplays his s…

I think you're on the right track. I wouldn't say men are inherently more emotional, probably the same as women but men are more out spoken as children. Then like you said social norms force us (with good reason) to hold our emotions in to get results. You can't cry if it hurts because you got tackled on the football field or sprained your ankle playing basketball, you gotta suck that shit up and get results or you get left behind.

That's because some guys have no purpose besides chasing women. If you become top 20% at anything you'll get some female attention, and i mean anything the top clowns and cirque di Soleil probably have a fire Instagram and get some groupies. That should be the focus on being the best version of you for yourself and those around you. Any good quality woman will admire that ambition and want to join your team.

This one hits home because a girl i know cheated with her boyfriends roommate left him and got back together around the time she got pregnant. The dude was an alright guy and took care of the kid because he thought it was his. But we all thought something was up because they both were white and over time the kid started getting darker. Guy's roommate was black. So one the day he goes and gets a paternity test while she's at work and after she came home she found a note saying he knows the kids i…

I'm a he, respect my pronouns. And sure some are. But again my point is that noble traits aren't rewarded like women act like they are. Just ask JFK, Abraham Lincoln, MLK etc. Most of the time you can have a good guy with morals, or you can have a dominant successful "alpha" guy. Veeeeerry rarely do those two traits happen in the same person. Being genuine and being successful are already rare on their own, and you want both?

There's definitely a curve on the scale. But especially in this age if you're messing with a girl who never had some what of a hoe phase: 1. You caught her early before like 23, congrats but the older you get less likely that's the case. 2. She's not very attractive, i can't judge but i atleast have to settle down with an objective 6. 3. You literally just named all fictional characters...... And Donald Trump literally leads millions of people who follow his every word (again i don't like it either, but that doesn't make it not true). This is a prime example of people online confusing how the world works with how we want it to work. It's impossible to make good judgement calls if you're ignoring reality.

I think there's some variance. You could get unlucky or lucky depending on the other person's experience. I've gotten shot down by some women because they thought i was going to play them, true or not, it wasn't because they weren't attracted to me. Or I've gotten some 9/10's because i was in the right place with almost no competition. But if you're getting all yesses or all no's then you should change up your strategy.

Can be nice is the key word or most importantly chooses to be and has the ability to be a dick when required. True alphas range in personality depending on the social hierarchy they are alpha in. So yes and no. Being alpha just means you're top dog. If being toxic helps you be top dog or even doesn't hurt your social standing in that social group, then yes they can be toxic. I'd recommend most guys try and meet women through mutual friends, family, or work/school. That way you can build real attraction over time and you know you at least have something in common. Avoid apps like the plague if you value your self esteem and aren't a 9/10 in looks. Bars can be fun if you're going out with a group of friends every once in awhile. Sure in the 1950's. These days peak masculinity is more like the wolf of wall street. But even then there are people born rich, nice, to powerful families. They would have an easy time at that role.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/22 07:32 PM

I don't think you're getting it. Regardless of the actual role, if your natural disposition compliments the expected traits then you will have an easier time. That's why nice guys get the short end of the stick from men and women, being "nice" traditionally is associated with feminine traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/22 05:58 PM

Sounds like a feminine "modern" man. Dudes storming the beach in WWII weren't like that because it would get them killed. Along with if you played any organized sports growing up or joined the military, that shit gets beat out of your system quick.

If you're personality naturally fits a gender role it's easy to "assimilate". For instance if your naturally an assertive guy or an empathetic woman those would mesh well with gender norms so you more than likely wouldn't have a problem with them.

I feel like we're talking in circles. Back to the main point. There's nothing wrong with having standards but they should be realistic. If you are a 6 be real with yourself and date a 6.

Definitely possible if you have decent social skills. But to me it sounds like you're going after below average women. Which I'm not hating on, my body count is around 25 and I've definitely got some 3 or 4's in there. But my stance is that women want men at an increasing social status above them. Women who are 7's want men who are 9's but will settle for an 8, and friendzone other 7's.

I don't think the actual size matters. Only if you're on the extreme of either too tiny or obnoxiously big will it make a difference. From my experience if a woman likes you, then she'll tell you, you have a big dick. As soon as a fight happens or she's upset now it's small or she's seen/had bigger. Unless you have a very small penis i wouldn't worry about dick size too much. If you do I'd up my sex game in other ways.

I'm not saying there's no benefits. I'm asking if there were any drawbacks. Women enjoying sex and their bodies is a good thing but i personally think unrestricted sex has pushed things to the other extreme which isn't good. I'm trying to gauge the room to see if anyone else sees what i do.

Okay great i agree. So is there any problem with wanting to have sex with only one person?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/22 05:44 PM

It was hyperbole. Why is wanting sex now bad once in a relationship?

The correlation exists. Barring religious reasons I'm sure most people would not enter a marriage without having sex first. It's not the only reason or even the main depending on the guy but it factors in. And I've stated what i said in my post was my opinion. And asked what others opinions were.

Condoms aren't 100% safe so if you have sex with hundreds of partners whether it's a baby or and std chances are you're going to catch something. And okay congratulations i was wondering if you're view point was coming from the current dating market or not.

I don't know about the first part. I think sex is natural and something traditionally done with your partner. Definitely shouldn't be the main one in my opinion but it is a factor. And okay i can see that.

Ideally i agree but realistically i think it happens. And okay, how sex positive are you and are you in a relationship? If you don't mind me asking.

There's alot of man blaming in this response. I can understand no woman wants to feel trapped in a relationship like they could be happier but are being forced to stay somewhere they don't want to be. From my point of view and experience as a man it seemed like women are the issue with hypergamy and the constant need to be better than whatever wealthy, popular, or otherwise very successful guy they had or could have a one night stand with. I think there's blame on both sides and without the econ…

No, sex shouldn't be the basis of your decision making objectively it's going to make life more complicated. I've seen in my own family and friends the results of just wanting to bust a nut without thinking about the consequences and it's never turned out well. Now that's an individual choice to make, people are allowed to make bad decisions, and we all do at some point. There's a fine line between shaming someone because you want to feel superior and shaming them because their actions are hurti…

There's definitely been a push of the ideal that men and women are the same. We're equal, but not the same we both have our parts to play. Even in homosexual relationships one person is masculine and the other is feminine. But "every correction is an overcorrection" so it may be a result of men socially being allowed to cheat on their wives and have tons of illegitimate kids and being actually abusive not too long ago, which is kind of messed up for modern society. I think once more women are ha…

And you can have that viewpoint. I disagree because I'm very family oriented for personal reasons. Not knowing my biological father growing up caused me issues so I'm not going to make a commitment unless i know both of us are sticking around for the long haul.

My point was not to victim blame the people getting cheated on. Just because they may be unhappy doesn't mean the relationship is crappy.

Sexual health is important but that's more about having a good relationship with yourself and what you like. Nothing to do with banging random strangers. Plus a sex life where you're totally comfortable with another person and you know each other's bodies without saying much, is more fulfilling in my experience.

I agree it's definitely case by case with other factors. Beauty or attractiveness, personality traits, wealth, all in various degrees can be factors. It's a combination of all those things among others and some people might weigh sexual history lower on the scale but it's still apart of the equation.

Right, I always thought that too. There is that old saying that "crazy chics are great in bed" so there may be some anecdotal truth to it. My concern is why is there a push to normalize extreme sexual behavior when that may be the symptom of a mental health issue, versus getting treatment for the underlying issue whatever it might be.

I'm in the United States and I'm basing my opinions off of american culture so i can't comment on that information. However id argue the results would be much different in America.

Women are judged by what men want because men are the customers. And Vice versa. Gay men and women are judged by what other gay people want. You are proving to a potential partner why they should choose you over someone else. You have the choice to live up to a standard or not. Best thing is to go for people who have the same ideals. If everyone you meet with those ideals are shitty and you want someone else, you need to look inward and either change or lower your own standards.

I'd say that's the main concern in a long term relationship. Along with potential financial loss in a divorce. The trust betrayal, feelings of worthlessness, and general emotional stuff is there too but to lesser extent because as a man your emotions aren't that important life's more pragmatic in that sense. I agree though there should be dna test at every child birth.

I think casually dating is. But one night stands, getting a train ran, threeways, etc ie. Extreme hoeing that porn and some popular media push, isn't necessary at all and actually detrimental.

Most current cultures are monogamous because it works best for children. If you don't want a family and can handle intimate relationships with multiple partners and aren't just looking for an excuse to bone everyone you want i could see that working for some people. I'm not judging I've been guilty of it too, but i think recently there's been too much of a mass push of sex just for sex sake. Sex is an important part of life but shouldn't be the basis for all of your decisions and definitely not …

Yeah women never have to worry if a child is really theirs. If you don't care about cheating cool ignorance is bliss. But don't try and gas light guys into thinking its not a big deal.

You can't know for sure there's an inherent risk in dating. But having a lower sexual partner count, from the data given, on average proves for a better long term relationship. Doesn't mean that person can't make it work but it is going to be more difficult. What matters more is actions vs a persons thought process. That person with the higher n count will probably have to be a better partner in a long term relationship because of their reputation vs the one with a lower count. It's messed up wh…

I agree their may be a correlation between mental health and casual sex. I think it may be the self validation gotten from someone finding you attractive enough to sleep with. But you're taking a massive leap assuming the relationship is crappy and that's why the person cheats.

Most do it terms of attractiveness. Your best shot to get the man you want is to be realistic and shot your shot when you're most attractive. For men its when you have the most money. But there's a time limit on everyone. Also most people are happier with a fulfilling relationship than a successful career and since most people are heterosexual most women will need a man. I don't know why it's so hard for women these days to say they like men.

I'd drop her man. I had a similar situation i let go too long and she ended up finding other girls i was messing with on my Instagram and messaging them ruining anything else i had going on. It's only gonna get worse over time and the easy sex isn't worth it.

Sure there's grey but that's my exact point. Body count isn't everything. Self esteem and social value are just at a high level things that affect success of game. Looks, past experiences, current stage in life, social influences, personality, and the list goes on, can effect if your game will work. But to keep it simple high value high self esteem partners are more desirable and harder to get. Low self esteem low value partners are easier. It's the same for women. Game just tips the balance in …

Depends on her sexual value along with her self esteem. High value high self esteem women won't fall for game or maybe just want some themselves and are back to their lives after. High value low self esteem women usually go for losers at least relative to her so they can have a project to work on make themselves feel better. Low value high self esteem women will go for game but try and change you with you with the power of pussy. And low value low self esteem women are the bread and butter they …

Exactly sex is more mental than physical with women. If you check all her boxes for a man, good enough looking, somewhat successful, socially adept, confident, a woman will put down her guard enough for you to have a chance to sleep with her. I wouldn't consider myself a full on player more of a reformed fuckboy. But same rules apply. Once that guard is down then that's where your game, charm, humor, charisma, etc comes in to seal the deal. That's why usually player's are more respected than slu…

Women can lie and exaggerate. They are people not magical fairies who only tell the truth. And feelings aren't valid arguments. I love women grew up with them outnumbering men in my family. But they are real independent strong women who own their mistakes and grow from them. Not women who want the veil of autonomy but need to be reassured and protected as soon as someone has something bad to say about her actions.

I think you're overestimating how picky the average man is. I guarantee every woman has at least a handful of men she can have sex with regardless of how she "expresses her sexuality", i still don't know what that means, but y'all don't want sex with those men. So it's the men who choose more carefully who they engage with (men with lots of options) y'all are trying to strong arm into not respecting their own standards. A person male or female does not have to engage with anyone they don't want …

Men are more romantic because women crave romance. While men want someone who's more dependable and will support us (a "ride or die"). So we're going to take on the characteristics that are more attractive to the opposite sex. I read a study (i can find the link if anyone is interested) that showed when the amount of suitable mates drops the one with the higher numbers will lean more towards the ideals of the sex with the lower numbers. Basically minority rule. So less quality guys women become …
